Beware this place is a puppy mill! No traces back to the parents of the puppies. They are most likely being inbred due to the health concerns I've read and experienced first hand with my dachshund I bought from here. He went blind at 4 years old and needs expensive eye drops everyday multiple times a day for the rest of his life and it's not guaranteed to do anything. My daughter loves this place. They sometimes have puppies and kittens to play with, bunnies, hamsters, hedge hogs, rats, lizards, snakes, frogs and fish. A nice variety of pets to choose from. I appreciate that they let you hold and play with the animals before deciding to buy and I never felt like they were impatient in waiting or pressuring to buy an animal. We are not in the position to get a pet just yet but my daughter will still come here to play with the puppies and beg for one. Small selection of cat foods and toys. I was looking for fresh catnip and struck out. I witnessed the cashier tell a family who were planning on buying a hamster that even though they thought it would be a good idea to "spoil" their hamster and buy the biggest cage, she said the hamster would feel safer and more secure in one of the smaller enclosures. I like that she was not trying to upsell for money and was thinking about the animal first. Convenient location. The store is always nice and clean. They usually only have one person on staff to check out and help with the animals which can cause delays in getting help. But the people that work there are nice. I bought a puppy 7 years ago, she is the most special puppy ever, I love her so much I tried to get information on her mother and father so we could get a second puppy..... they couldn't tell me anything about where she came from after I bought her, originally they told me she was part of a litter that the owner had, probably not true and did I mention she was 10 weeks old and 900$. THIS IS A HORRIBLE STORE DO NOT BUY HERE. If you are an animal lover like me (I have owned small pets my entire life and currently have the cutest leopard gecko to ever exist). All of their animals were in improper cages/husbandry. They had 4 leopard geckos (heavily territorial when they lay on each other they are fighting for a warm spot not "cuddling" they are reptiles). Bearded dragons were covered in stress markings. I paid 2.89 for a small count of meal worms and over 4$ for a 50 count of wax worms. I can get that both of those on chewy or dubiaroaches.com for less than 3$ . Buy from an online store. All the animals are mill animals (bred like live stock think of caged chickens life style but your poor puppies + rodents + reptiles). Unprofessional I waited 10 minutes for someone to come to the register. They crammed giant goldfish (foot long and very thick) in a 20 gallon aquarium they couldn't even turn around in properly. They also had a terrarium of crickets just slipping off a box. I never thought I would find a pet store worse than petco but congrats to this business! Somehow they did it!! They also overcharge their animals. You can get a rescue or breeder gecko for 40$ and their poor mill geckos are 120$!!! You can get any accessory for 1/3 the price on chewy or any pet store website. I'm passionate about animal care, if you love animals too please never shop at this foul place. read more

I am absolutely appalled by the state these poor animals are living in. I came in with my son to get him a puppy for his 8th birthday and he left so distressed by how the animals were being treated. Dogs in cages looking unfed and sick, fish laying dead in their tanks, lizards curled up in corners. I will absolutely never come here again and I hope the owner gets arrested for animal cruelty. I am absolutely sick over this and am close to calling the mayor and city counsel to have the business shut down permanently. Frankly I would encourage people to report them to the proper authorities like I have after leaving. It is horrific what people are doing to poor animals for profit. read more

BEWARE! ! These puppies are puppy mills they're sick and mistreated. Remember you can't always tell by looking at them what's going on with the inside. Heart, brain, and more are big issue!! You get your fur ever friend and it end's up very badly! I bought my puppy and it ended up with grand mall seizure's and passed away at the age of 3!! Beside's the heartache the puppies suffer as well. There's a lot of people who've lost they're dog's from this store as well.I know two people who've had major issue's with they're puppies. Read the reviews from Pic a Pet as well. It's a pattern that goes back year's with the same owner. The kitten's are kept in a bird cage! This store should have they're right to sell animals taking away! Even they're fish tank's and critter's aren't taken care of. It's really sad that these type of place's get by with this. ABSOLUTELY horrible conditions for any animal small and big. They had 10 kittens in a small ferret cage meant for 1-2 small animals. Kittens were trying to move around and squeezing between bars too small for a cat. The rodents had no water at all. Each cage had no wheels or toys or hiding/bedding items. They had to attack each other to entertain each other. The fish tanks were filthy and had dead fish. I know the owners and I am absolutely ashamed of them. They deserve to be held accountable. read more
