Always professional, always friendly and so convenient!…read more I can't explain how easy it has become to get my dogs groomed. I use to have to make an appointment that was so many weeks ahead then cart them myself to the groomers early in the morning a trip there and a trip home then pick them up in the afternoon a trip there and a trip home. Now the groomer comes to me and they are done in an hour and I'm on with my day. They listen and do the cut the way you want it not how they want it. Dog looks amazing and smells amazing afterwards and they love the girls at zoom and groom! Thanks for doing such a fantastic job each time!

We keep trying to find somewhere that is as good, but we just can't. They add a personal touch and really get to know you and your dog. We took our dog for their puppy Einstein class as well and we really benefited from it. A wonderful place full of wonderful people that really care. In fact, after we moved, we had some behavioral issues pop up that we didn't really know how to handle, so we send an email over to Heather (the owner) and she gave us some great tips and since she knew our dog, it was more personalized. I would recommend to everyone.

SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL BUSINESSES!…read more Tropic Waters is by far the best pet store around, and you don't get any of the standard BS that comes with corporate chains. It is truly amazing how many items they pack into their store, and how many gorgeous pets they have! There are easily 40 - 50 fish tanks with freshwater and saltwater varieties. There are also a great variety of newts, crabs, snails and water frogs to look at. (I have two fire-bellied newts from there, they're just the cutest!) Many different lizards, snakes and turtles. There are always PUPPIES to look at, whether they're for sale, or being trained. Lots of rodents and bunnies, along with birds, and a super awesome parrot that's been there forever and a day (Romeo!!) There's also a few free-range cats that just roam the store. Prices are a little bit higher on certain specialty items than Petco or PetSmart, but other items (like feeding crickets!) are a lot cheaper. Not to mention they have a lot of items that the big stores don't have. It's always clean here. The staff is ALWAYS nice here. And I've had much healthier pets from from Tropic Waters than any other chain pet store I've been to. I'd give them a 6th star if possible, they deserve it!

I went here to buy some fish tank rocks, tap water conditioner & an automatic feeder. Their supply for rocks & conditioner was very limited & only had 1 brand that I've never heard of so I purchased them. The rock instructions mentioned to soak them for 48 hours but out of all my years of having a fish I've never had a problem with inserting rocks with water conditioner. However I'm very disappointed in this place for even selling this type of fish rocks... They are filled with chlorine & killed my fish within an hour of placing him in his newly cleaned tank. What Fish Store Sells Chlorine Covered Rocks???? They also didn't have any automatic fish feeders except for 1 that was way over priced. Very disappointed in this locally owned store.

Half Golden Retriever and half Chow and has what it is referred to as a double coat. They spent hours with her getting her combed and blown out. She also had matted back legs. ( her coat is beautiful when she is done but a nightmare when it's not ) while it was a bit on the expensive side ( $120-$130 ) it was also necessary and she looked beautiful when I picked her up and she smelled lovely. Unfortunately they are short staffed so it takes a while to get a return appointment. Taking her back in today!

Recently, I've started taking him to P&C daycare once a week or so for half days. He loves it & has a great time. He needs activity & stimulation & he comes home happy & tired. It's obvious they have put a lot of thought into how drop off & pick up are accomplished. The employees are so nice & welcoming. It's quite easy to get a reservation for their daycare & they offer a report card & photos for a small fee to document your oup's day. They also gave special treats on certain days, again for a small fee. We love our regular groomer Julia. She grooms him exactly how I want. My advice as far as a grooming appointments are concerned is book early as their appointments fill up fast. I book several appointments out to insure getting in with our favorite P&C groomer, Julia.
