Was looking for a specific piñata, last minute. Called over to the number listed, it worked, and spoke to the lady there. She gave me what they had in stock for what was looking for and the prices for each size. Drove out there and got what I needed. Very easy to do business, loved the selection they had and the prices are reasonable. They take Apple Pay as well. Will be going back again in the future. read more

Another year, another amazing piñata by Piñata Time! If you read my previous review you can learn all about my first experience creating a custom piñata for my son's first birthday. Since I had such an amazing experience with them last year I decided to call them again for his second birthday. This year's theme was Baby Shark which is super popular but I still gave them a call to make sure they could create a yellow baby shark. Something new I learned this year is that they can make the piñata in two different ways. One is more like a "2D", where it's completely flat from front and back, or more for a 3D where the piñata has more of a "real" shape. I decided to keep it simple and go with the 2D version since that's what I did the year before. As per usual, the piñata was absolutely perfect and my son loved it. Same as last year, when I picked it up I requested for them to create a hole for the candies and also purchased some from them. I love that they are a one stop shop for all things piñata and you can just get everything from them. Thank you Piñata Time and see you all next year! read more

FOUL LANGUAGE ON PIÑATA. BEWARE! don't buy from this place. I bought my son's piñata there without realizing that it had the word COCK on it. So embarrassing a parent had to tell me at the party. I called Piñata time to tell them I would like a refund and the lady was very rude and refused. Saying she absolutely can not refund. It's 2024. Update your policy when YOUR COMPANY is in the wrong. They should make sure to not sell inappropriate piñatas for children parties. read more

Hands down the best piñata place in San Antonio. We've been ordering custom piñatas from the ladies at Piñata Time for the last 6 years and they never disappoint. Quality builds that match the party theme/decor at a fair price... you just can't beat it! read more

They have a good amount of piñatas to pick from and they can also personalize one as well. It's a one stop shop with the candy. The hardest thing is picking a piñata! Customer service is excellent, they do not rush you which I appreciated very much. read more

For years, this has been my go-to for piñatas. This family team is supremely talented and can take any idea you have and bring it to life. They also have a wide variety of options in their inventory to select, so this will cover any last-minute needs. A recurring comment from party guests is not only about how beautiful the piñatas are, but how well-made they are. Everyone will get a shot! Go to Piñata Time and support a local SA business doing great work. read more

Never thought I could be so pleased with the service I received at a piñata shop. I originally called ahead because a place I had saw online was not there in there. And I certainly believe all things happen for a reason. I called ahead and the lady who answered the phone was very kind and very helpful. She gave me a price range of what I was looking for and share with me some of the options. Immediately agreed to go over there and see what she had to offer. and this shop has everything. I don't think I would ever go anywhere else for a piñata ever. She walked around all the frozen peas. For my daughters birthday. I had to go home with a piñata that day, and I didn't wanna drop the ball. And I was more than surprised in regards to the quality in the options available for the price. I didn't realize they'd have all the candy you ever need. Next time I'll buy more candy there. This time I already ordered some. Our prices are more than reasonable. The quality is better than you can find anywhere else. And the variety was extraordinary. I recommend that you just go here. I don't think you need to go anywhere else. And the service is five stars as well. The lady who was there is so kind and so helpful. It's just service you don't get these days anymore. I left there with exactly what I needed and more. And the price did not break my budget. I'll be back for sure. read more

I've always had a great experience at Pinata Time. We go back year after year for our grandkids. Thank you for always having such a variety of pinatas to choose from. I even picked one up for my 50th birthday party. Thank you. read more

This place sells foul language on piñatas and takes no ownership for it. We stopped in on Friday 3/1 at 5:30pm to buy a piñata for our son. We were there for 10-15 mins max. We called today - Saturday 3/2 and 4:38pm and told them we noticed the piñata had " cock" on it. Not even 24 hours later. They truly did not seem apologetic. Saying sorry and acting sorry are two different things. They also lie on their response in regards to time frame of days and time. In the scary world we live in now, those border line pedophile subliminal messages are not ok. Only thing we were guilty of is being 2 busy parents planning a party for our kid the very next day that we missed that huge detail. Does not excuse the sell for a children's piñata with foul language. If it is out of their control maybe they shouldn't be in business. Do better Piñata time. read more

Just went to find a Piñata for my son's birthday. There is so many to choose from. They have a large variety to fit your budget and I feel so good spending locally. The Lady working was very helpful! They have many other party supplies and the variety of handmade piñatas was awesome. They even had F.N.A.F., Fortnite, Disney, etc. The cost was much cheaper than I found at PartyCity for the size. Highly recommend! It is a 20 minute drive from our home but definitely worth the drive. read more

I wish I could give this place five starts but unfortunately I can't. I definitely would recommend buying a piñata here 10 out of 10 because the prices are reasonable for the quality. However, I would not recommend buying candy from this place. I bought three bags and they were all filled to the top. However when I was dumping the bags of candy into the piñata, I noticed that half of the wrappers were filled with air with no candy inside, so it was definitely a waste of money in my opinion which is very disappointing. Bottom line I would definitely recommend buying candies somewhere else. read more

I bought a pinata here and the exterior looked great. When I loaded it up with candy and strung it up over the tree, the string at the top of the pinata ripped through. The pinata was just a cardboard. There was no type of reinforcement on the inside. I paid $45 for a decorated box. read more

This shop is super cute and the family that runs it is so sweet. They have a huge selection of piñatas- all your favorite characters. They also carry party supplies (character cups, plates, table decor, etc) and Mexican candy. I think they do custom orders too, if you have something specific in mind. I called beforehand to see if they had any peppa pig piñata on hand, and they had 3 different sizes/ price points to choose from! I also got a decorated stick for a few more bucks. I only wish I had come here first, before buying candy and decorations somewhere else. Don't be like me- make this your first stop in your party planning process. read more

The worst piñata I have ever ordered. I have been buying piñatas for the past 20 years from many local places and have never had such poor quality. I paid $59 for a "posada" piñata and it broke entirely after only 2 children hit it. The piñata was for my daughters birthday party, she was the first to hit it and it broke in half. Second child to hit it broke it entirely. Mind you this was a 6 year old child. This left a line of 19 other children that didn't get a turn because of the poor quality. It was embarrassing!! I picked up a cone from the left over pieces and it barely had any newspaper to make it firm. Newspaper is incredibly cheap if not free to obtain. The reality is this was poorly made. $59 for something to last 5 seconds is absolutely disgraceful. I am well aware a piñata is meant to be broken, but after 5 second is absolutely unacceptable. I will never buy a piñata from here again! read more

The creativity and service at Pinata time are both excellent! We had a fun anniversary project that needed some custom pinatas. The great people at Pinata Time handled it with ease. They were courteous and helpful. We ordered several custom pinatas (15 small pinatas, 2 large ones, and 1 very very large one), and all of them came beautifully done. Definitely exceeded my expectations. Thanks!! read more

This place has an AMAZING selection of quality piñatas of all sizes and characters! But if you have something specific in mind, they make custom orders too! Plus their incredibly friendly staff is willing to listen to you to get your order right for your custom orders.
