I was going to write a disappointing review for Pure Medical, however, Michelle from the Pure Medical office in Boylston was so incredibly outstanding that she changed my initially negative experience into a positive one that I'm grateful for. I had a bit of a billing issue that I was extremely aggravated about. We all know how confusing billing is with Insurance, premiums, co-pays, deductibles, blah blah blah. Well, long story short, Michelle was awesome from the minute she picked up the phone. I got on my soapbox and did my rant . . she was professional, empathetic and most importantly HELPFUL !!!!! I was able to bring what I needed to back to the office for a full credit the same day. She explained all the charges to me and made sure I was very happy with my experience with Pure Medical. I was even a couple of minutes late due to traffic and she waited there for me knowing that I was on my way. That rarely EVER happens, it is SO HARD to get good people these days, Michelle is one of those people. I would not recommend this buisness. I bought a wheelchair for my handicap son, he used it twice…read morein the two months of purchasing it. Once for a trip to Washington D.C. and once for a day trip to six flags. We had to have it repaired after the DC trip because pieces were falling off as we pushed my son in the chair and a piece of the seat had fallen off as well and we had to pay for repair because the warranty was 1 day over the 30 days. After the one day use in six flags there were some minor things and we noticed the wheel was not working correctly. We brought it back again and the owner was not buisness like and more or less called me a liar and said he would not send the chair out like that.

The staff know you by name when they see you and go out of their way to assist by contacting your doctor's office if the prescription is not there. I drive from Fall River to go the Apothecary. Their prices are comparable to all other pharmacy chains. The value is outstanding. I highly recommend the Westport Apothecary. It's a real gem in a world where the remaining pharmacies have become retail chains with personalized services that evaporated when the giant conglomerates bought up all the independent pharmacies.

Purchased the wrong topical that doesn't work for me and didn't see that until I was home. The pharmacy refused to allow me to return the unopened product and refused to give me a credit towards my purchase of the correct topical agent. If their pricing wasn't so much better than standard pharmacies I would never use them again. I'm sure the pharmacist had good intentions, but the lack of proper communication with the patient is inexcusable. Overall disappointing experience.

They always have good signage on covid measures, current interests (flu shot available here, etc), hour changes, etc. The drive thru is awesome because it usually allows for a quicker experience due to my wandering eyes. The pharmacist just took a copy if my insurance, my drivers license and current pharmacy info and said, "I'll take care of it for you." How nice is that!!!
