She is the best. Absolutely meticulous and professional in every way. Recommend her highly. Did a great job on a very complicated tooth root situation. read more

First off Yeonsoo was so pleasant on the phone when I made the appointment, she was sweet and patient and kind. When I went for the appointment Edith greeted me and promptly provided sanitizer for my hands they were very careful and cautious in regards to hygiene and the office was very clean. Edith was kind and patient with all my crying and anxiety she was very professional. Dr.Quang was very nice and she put me at ease even in the midst of my crying anxiety over being at the dentist. She explained every step and had a non aggressive approach she gave me options and even referred me to an oral surgeon to fix my problem and they were able to see me today for my oral surgery today!!!!! Today was cause for so much anxiety but i ended up feeling more relieved and calm than when I arrived at her office. Thank you to doctor Quan and her staff for all there help and cleanliness I look forward to seeing you all again. read more

I had a molar that my regular dentist initially said might not be salvageable, and I was advised to consider an extraction and implant. I saw another doctor about the implant, and he said, "if it was my tooth I would have a root canal and replace the crown." I then asked my dentist for a referal to get a consultation for the root canal, and that is how I ended up in Dr Quang's clinic. I was very impressed by Dr Quang's expertise, ethics, patience and understanding, communication and honesty, and finally her professionalism and extraordinary attention to detail. I had everything I needed to evaluate the risks and benefits of the treatment, and I knew exactly what was going on throughout the entire process. My treatment required a couple of visits, but this was because due to the thoroughness of Dr Quang's diagnosis and treatment procedure. I consider myself to be extremely lucky to have gotten that referral. read more

Wow! I can't say enough to express how lucky we were to get in to see Dr. Quang. Our son fractured his tooth in a basketball game on a Saturday morning. We were able to see our dentist, who called Dr. Quang. She agreed to meet us that day at 1:30. She was extremely kind, caring and professional. She took care of my son's root canal and clearly explained the whole procedure. My son was very upset before we walked in, and was happy and relieved when we left. Thank you Dr. Quang! We truly appreciate how you helped us. read more

I am modifying my prior 5 star review because when I came in for a root canal, Dr. Quang told me my tooth could not saved and would have to be extracted. On the positive side, she did see me the same day and she cleaned the tooth, gave me antibiotics and put in a temporary filling, all of which she did well, and she was very nice, so I guess she earned 5 stars for that. However, I almost had a tooth pulled out of my head unnecessarily based on her assessment, so for that I am downgrading her to 2.5 stars. Today I had a root canal performed on that same tooth by another provider, and it went just fine. If she tells you she can't save your tooth, get a second opinion. read more

I was referred from my primary dentist and did not disappoint. Very happy and appreciate what Dr. Quang has done. I was in so much pain for a week and when I left here, the problem was solved. Would give more stars but Yelp only gives us 5. 10/10 Keep up the great work. I will also refer friends and family. read more

A failed crown restoration left me with so much pain that I dealt with for about a week. So glad my primary dentist referred me to Dr. Quang who took my call even after work hours. She was pleasant and attentive from initial phone conversation all through the entire root canal procedure. It took her about an hour to complete the root canal and I couldn't be happier! Finally pain-free! She was very professional and explained everything thoroughly. Thank you very much, Dr. Quang! Also thanks to Edith, her office assistant, who welcomed me warmly and handled my billing concerns well. I felt so well taken cared of! You are both amazing at what you do. Again, many thanks! read more

Dr. Quang & Co provided not only the best dental experience I've had (for something that should have been much more painful), but probably the best medical experience ever. I was referred to Dr. Quang for some emergency work, her and her office were so helpful during the entire process; me rescheduling visits, staying late to get me seen, and dealing with my concerns over the phone. I can not recommend her office highly enough. There's free parking! read more

I was referred to Dr Quang by my dentist for root canal. I have no problem with her work. Her office sent me a billing of $40 after charging insurance/myself about $1400 for root canal. After 30 days the bill went to $65 which includes $25 penalty. I think charging $25 penalty on $40 is illegal per California law Which allows at most 18% interest. In my opinion that's plain greedy. Obviously I wouldn't be doing any business with her office. read more

This is my first root canal since I move to State. I was referred to another place first and got a very bad impression for the consultant. So I decided to try Dr Quang. The lady at counter was very friendly. It didn't take a lot of time to see Dr. Quang. She looks young and smiley. Then she explained the procedure that she was gonna do to me very precisely. I wanna say the treatment went very smooth for me, I didn't feel lots of pain. I was always nervous when seeing any dentist! Dr.Quang and her assistant made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I would recommend anyone who has same anxiousness like me to see your tooth that Dr Quang will be a good choice! read more

I had a root canal at Dr Quang's office and it was a very quality experience; she is professional, efficient & has excellent customer service. My boyfriend had his crown come out and Dr Quang was able to take him last minute after hours. Wow! She really saved the day. We will definitely be visiting Dr Quang in the future for all our endodontist needs. Thank you Dr!!! read more

This was the smoothest dental procedure I've ever had. From start to finish I was comfortable and painless. I am incredibly afraid of the dentist and any procedures regarding my teeth, so when I found out I had to get a root canal I was devastated. Luckily I heard about Dr. Quang from a family friend and I am so glad that I went to her. She was extremely patient and thorough in her explanations. She made me feel comfortable and ensured me that I shouldn't be scared. I got my root canal 4 days ago and I don't feel any pain (which is incredible because when I went into the appointment, I could barely eat). She saved my tooth and was exceptionally kind the entire time. Because of her, I fear the dentist a little less! If you are looking for who is thorough, kind, and caring, Dr. Quang is the one to see! read more

I was referred to Dr. Quang, because my son had some trauma on his teeth. He was at risk of possibly losing both of his front teeth, so it was a very worrisome and frustrating time, but Dr. Quang was patient and extremely knowledgeable. She knew the latest research in this field and calmly explained to me what she believed the best option was. She even took the time to have a conference call with my dentist and orthodontist, who were all involved with my son's terrible ordeal. After many conversations, we had decided to go with the procedure. In the end, she saved my son's teeth! Another amazing thing about Dr. Quang... I called her on Saturday night at 10pm to leave a message, but she actually picked up the phone and helped me right then and there!! And she was nice about it too!! When would you ever find a highly trained medical professional ready to help at any time of night?? I just wish the rest of the doctors and dentists I encounter in my life could be just like her! read more

I think I have never ever met a dentist/healthcare provider this caring, thoughtful and competent! Extremely intelligent and approachable! I have been looking for an endodontist in Berkeley, Walnut Creek and even Sacramento and I am so happy to finally find a person that is competent, skillful, sincere and most of all truthful in the work she does. Hands down if I had to choose a place to get my root canal I will definitely come to Dr. Quang. I usually will not recommend anyone but, because I have been through hell with finding doctors I know how people in pain might feel and I hope those of you having trouble seek help from Dr. Quang... you'll thank me later. Additionally, Dr. Quang's staff is soooo sweet too! I have never met a nicer receptionist before (thanks Manda!). read more

I went in for a consultation referred my new dentist. Sad to say my experience was regrettable as the assistant Edith was not welcoming and spoke down to me as if I was in her way. Something tells me she does not like her job. I hope your experience is different from mine if you do go in. read more

Cannot say enough good things about this awesome practice!! Dr. Quang and team are kind, caring, and made my comfort their first priority. Dr. Quang is fast and affordable. Her staff is so friendly and genuinely caring. I will never go to anyone else for endo needs again. I would recommend her to anyone I know. read more

Dr. Quang & her staff are amazing. I've had a huge fear around dental work for years. Had to go in for an emergency root canal, when I was in severe pain she was able to squeeze me in that day, late on a Friday. She is an angel endodontist, gentle compassionate & professional. The small office is a calm & relaxing environment. Her staff was kind & helpful, even making sure I moved my car to not get a parking ticket. I would happily go back to her fear free for any future Endo work. read more

July 07, 2015 Update I had to visit Dr.Quang again because of a different tooth that i have developed a new problem with. Just like before, she is attentive, caring, and simply amazing. I understand what happened to my tooth now and what i need to do to solve it. She is one of the nicest person i have met. And she sincerely cares for the wellness of others. Cost is very reasonable while you are getting excellent service. Payment options are also available. Root canals can be a rough time, but Dr.Quang PhD will get you through it. I am a forever loyal customer. Thank you so much Dr.Quang. read more

I hate I mean really hate going to the dentist. Dr. Quang has changed that. She is personable and straight forward about your teeth. She gave me a root canal on a tooth that was "dead". She saved my tooth!". It was a painless, yes I said painless experience. I had my head phones on in the chair and she went to work. I am recommending her to anyone who has a dentist phobia or anyone looking for a great dentist who takes care of your teeth. BTW I had my root canal today! Still no pain read more

I had a root canal yesterday. Dr. Quang was super! Very caring, and very quick. NO PAIN! And no pain today either. This is my second root canal. The first, with another endodontist a few years ago, was pretty awful. This was a completely different experience. If I have to have another one at some point I will no longer dread the procedure. read more

Dr. Quang and staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. You can really tell that she takes pride in her work and tries to accommodate her patient as best as she can. I came in for a root canal procedure and the whole process was very smooth. She was very active at helping me feel comfortable during the whole procedure and answered all of my questions after we were finished. At the end of the day, I would recommend Dr. Quang and her staff for the root canal procedure. I would like to thank Dr. Quang and her staff a lot! If need be, I would definitely come back to do another procedure. read more

A+. Superior service, follow up and follow through in every way. Can't recommend highly enough. Edith, the assistant, is excellent too.

Dr. Quang is terrific! Not only is she an expert at her craft, she's also personable, communicative and a great listener. In the process of giving me a somewhat complex root canal, Dr. Quang discovered a fracture in my molar. She was still able to save my tooth with the crown in-tact, and all, with a sense of humor! I could not be more grateful! You could not be in better hands with Dr. Quang--she's the best! read more

I've had at least 5 root canals by 2 or 3 different endodontists so I have some perspective on what this procedure can be like to experience. After a worse-than-nightmare experience at Western Dental (that business should be shut down by Dept of Consumer Affairs for fraud, incompetence, and harassment), Dr. Quang's practice was a breath of fresh (and very professional) air. She performed a root canal today on one of my molars, on referral from my regular dentist (Willie Woo, DDS). Having lost a tooth in the past due to a delay in a root canal (which resulted in a $5,000 implant which would not have been necessary had there been no delay), I was really appreciative of Dr. Quang's willingness to do this procedure on me at such short notice. She was totally respectful of of my anxieties around delaying the procedure and the whole process could not have run any more smoothly (even the KOIT soundtrack was soothing LOL). She did a very thorough job and, while I don't think any root canal could ever be described as "pleasant", this was by far the least unpleasant root canal I've ever had. Her staff are warm and friendly and there's free parking accessible from Webster St or ample metered parking on the street. read more

Today was my first visit to Dr. Quang's office and I had the best experience! I needed a root canal because I'm just horrible with my teeth and she took great care of me! She was knowledgeable, sweet, funny, and caring. Her assistant was just lovely. I highly recommend anyone that needs a root canal like my husband to visit her and have a wonderful experience. I love that she is a perfectionist and she takes pride in her work. See you in a year for my checkup! Thanks a million doc!!! read more

Dr. Quang is excellent!!! Unfortunately, I've had my fair share of root canals over the years and I have to say this office and Dr. Quang are the best. From beginning to end and through several procedures, I'm still a 100% satisfied patient! Root canals can be scary and things can definitely go wrong, but you will feel completely at ease and be well taken care of by Dr. Quang and her assistant Edith. Dr. Quang is thorough, friendly, patient, professional and an expert in her field. Don't delay. Take care of yourself and make your appointment today! read more

Dr. Quang was the only dentist I was able to contact during a holiday when I had an emergency. Happily, not only was she willing to see me outside of office hours, but she was warm, competent, and very respectful of my dental anxiety. I was impressed enough with her that when I needed follow-up work, I have chosen to continue to see her despite the fact the she is out of my insurance network. I'd highly recommend her to anyone needing any endodontic work. read more
