I've been using Photoshack since 2020, and even after moving to California two years ago, I still ship all my film to them, that's how good they are. I've tried numerous labs over the years, and nothing has matched the quality of their scans. Their work is consistently sharp, clean, and true to color, and you can tell they genuinely care about each roll they handle. Being family-owned, they also bring a level of kindness and personal attention that's hard to find. This is the only places in Vegas that I know of that does same day development for disposable cameras. Everywhere else that I called was 2-3 days minimum or up to 3-4 weeks. They offer same day development for an additional $7 per camera. If you don't want to pay the rush fee, the photos are still developed the next day! You can choose to get digital files, prints, or both. I opted to purchase both digital and prints. The studio itself is clean and has a professional and welcoming vibe. The lady at the front desk was extremely kind and helped us with all of our questions. I was honestly a little nervous about pricing at first because of how nice the place looked, but it is was significantly cheaper and faster than CVS, Walgreens, B&H, and the other photo places I contacted for developing disposable cameras. Overall, the service, quality, and pricing were all excellent. This is now going to be my go-to spot for developing disposable cameras in Vegas! read more

Beautiful photos every time! I've been getting my scans done with this family for about two years, and they are always polite and friendly. They take their time answering questions, and deliver scans to me within a few days. Such a sweet couple. I was able to take my own passport photos at home, and email it to them. They sized them for me, and had prints available for me within the week. I was so upset to see that they were affected by the fire that happened in the same shopping plaza late July. They are old school at PhotoShack, delivering quality, customer service, and perfection that is absolutely unattainable at your run of the mill drug store or grocery photo lab. i called and asked about their ability to cut picture for a schengen Visa and they told me they had it. o told them i would be in the next day as it was 30 close to closing and i was 30 minutes away. i showed up today with the pictures to be cut and they then informed me that they had to take them. This was for my wife who was not present. Very poor communication and no solution offered. i told him that he wasted an hour of my time and then he replied with i was wasting his time - very unprofessional. Do not recommend!!! read more

Had been trying to renew Passport and state department renewal site kept rejecting photos taken with my phone even though it says they can use photos from phone. Gave up and went to PhotoShack. Lel took my photo and emailed it to me. She checked to make sure it would be approved. The cost was cheaper then me continue to waste time trying to do on my own. If you're looking to get your disposables developed, this is the place to do it! Turnaround time is appx. 3-4 days for one roll of 35mm 36 exposures. It's less than $20 for digital copies emailed straight to you, including negatives. I've been coming here since I started film photography as a hobby. I was in Vegas after a backpacking trip and decided to develop a couple rolls of film before flying out so I did a quick search and found Photoshack. I loved that it was a family owned business and everyone was kind and helpful when I stopped in. I called a few days later because I opted for scans and was having issues with my email. The woman who answered the phone was very sweet and helpful!! I had a negative from the late 50's or early 60's that was an odd size. I went to Walmart, Walgreens, and CVS Pharmacy to get a photo print and not one could make a print. The PhotoShack was able to print the negative, and the print looks as bright and colorful as the original photo. The original photo was looking like a black and white photo as the colors had faded. This place is the best! I've been using Photoshack to develop and scan my 35mm film photos for over a year now and I couldn't imagine going anywhere else. After mailing out my film to be developed for a few months I looked to see if there was a place in town that could dev & scan in house, that's when I discovered PhotoShack. Their reviews are great so I decided to stop by the store to get some information about their scanning process, pricing and turnaround times. They were extremely nice and informative and answered all of my questions. The pricing was slightly above what I was used to paying but I decided to have a few rolls developed and as soon and they were delivered I could totally see why they charge what they charge! The quality of the photos were better than I had ever seen before and the turnaround time was extremely fast. On top of the amazing quality and speed, my favorite part about PhotoShack is their top notch customer service! They are so friendly, caring and willing to do whatever they can to make the customer happy. I recently dropped of some rolls of film from my wedding and asked if there was anyway they could do a rush order as I was so excited to see how the photos came out and didn't want to have to wait the entire weekend to get them back. One roll was an extra complicated order because it was b&w film and shot on a half frame camera, which I also requested that they scan individually. They informed me that they usually don't offer rush orders on b&w because of the extra time it takes to develop HOWEVER, since it was such an important roll they would do everything they could to have it done before the weekend. I received the scans back in less than 72 hours and they turned out better than I could've hoped. I love this place and will continue to take all of my film here and recommend them to anyone looking for somewhere to have film developed or prints made! read more

Review long overdue. They are closed during covid, there is an envelope form and slot at their door to drop off any photo related inquiries. My sister and I would get our film rolls and disposable camera rolls developed here, it's right across UNLV. Various photo services are available at different prices, but for every visit, it's to get film developed. They'd be ready within 1 day, very convenient! Our photos turn out perfect, we've had our photos printed and on digital file. Before covid, we'd have a small talk with the owners, they are very kind and helpful.
