This was my first online order with B&C, to many more to come! I ordered the WhoisMatt Audio Pack (pouch & cables) online and got the package delivered quickly and soundly! It was sold out everywhere, including the Kondor Blue website, I think B&C had the last one... couldn't believe my eyes. I submitted a question on the B&C contact, and Ron responded promptly.  Nothing beats free shipping, too. I got the item for $85. Compare it to paying $91, including $6 shipping, on the actual Kondor Blue website. read more

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at B&C Camera. I came into the store with a Godox flash that had an issue with the hot shoe attachment after the weight of a MagMod pulled on it. I brought it in specifically because I assumed that a camera store would have knowledgeable staff who could help me determine whether the flash could be repaired or whether a replacement part was needed. Instead, the associate immediately told me that repairing it would cost about as much as buying a new flash and recommended that I purchase a new one. I was surprised, but I trusted the advice because I assumed I was speaking with someone who knew cameras and camera equipment. The next step up from my existing flash was around $250-$300, so I purchased one. Something about the interaction didn't sit right with me, though. I went out to my car, looked more closely at my original flash, and noticed that the hot shoe assembly is attached separately with four screws. I looked up the part online and, within minutes, found an exact replacement hot shoe assembly for about $20. I also found instructions showing that the repair involves unplugging the ribbon cable, removing the four screws, installing the replacement part, and reconnecting it. In other words, this was not a situation where I needed to replace an otherwise perfectly functional flash. I went back inside and returned the flash I had just purchased. When the associate asked why, I explained that I had found the replacement part and could repair the original flash for about $20. Rather than acknowledging that this was a reasonable solution, he told me that there "might be soldering involved." Given that the replacement assembly I found is specifically designed to replace the existing hot shoe and uses the existing ribbon connection, this felt like another attempt to discourage me from repairing the equipment and make the situation sound far more complicated than it actually was. What bothered me most was the complete lack of effort to troubleshoot or explore a repair before recommending that I spend hundreds of dollars on a new product. I wasn't asking them to perform a complicated repair for free--I was asking for knowledgeable advice. Instead, I received advice that led me to purchase something I didn't need, only to discover on my own that a $20 replacement part could solve the problem. I've been a photographer for many years, and honestly, I'm embarrassed that I trusted this advice without doing my own research first. But that's exactly why I went to a camera store in the first place. Not everyone walking through the door is going to know how every component of their equipment is assembled, and customers should be able to trust that the people working in a specialty camera store are going to give them accurate, good-faith advice. I also have to say that the interaction did not feel particularly welcoming. I have rarely, if ever, seen women working in this store, and the interaction I had reinforced a perception that this may not be the most approachable environment for photographers who don't already have extensive technical knowledge. Regardless of gender, expertise should be accompanied by professionalism and a willingness to educate rather than making customers feel uninformed or pressured. I ultimately left feeling misled and taken advantage of. I'm not upset that the store couldn't repair my flash--I'm upset that I was given a definitive recommendation to spend hundreds of dollars when a simple, inexpensive replacement part appears to have been the appropriate solution. I expected better from a specialty camera store. read more

I came here for the first time to get a disposable camera developed after a friend recommended this place because of the photo quality. Unfortunately, the customer service left a lot to be desired. When I walked in, there were about three employees working. I understand everyone can be busy, so I didn't expect immediate service, but no one acknowledged us at all. A simple "We'll be right with you" would have gone a long way. Once an employee became available, I walked up and told him I wanted to develop my camera. Instead of asking if it was my first time or explaining the process, he simply told me to "go over there and select what you want, then bring the ticket back." I had no idea where "over there" was, so I had to ask. He pointed and said, "Where the tree is." I found the computers but had absolutely no idea what I was supposed to do. I asked a question about the digital copy option because I was clearly confused, but instead of taking a minute to explain the process or walk me through it, I got another short answer. At no point did anyone ask if it was my first time or offer any guidance. By the end, I wasn't even confident in what I had selected or what I was actually going to receive back. For a first-time customer, the process was not intuitive, and the lack of communication made it even more confusing. The only reason I would come back is because I've heard the photo quality is excellent. Ironically, the friend who recommended this place also warned me that the customer service from the men working there wasn't great. I was hoping my experience would be different, but unfortunately, it wasn't. Great quality can bring people in the door, but good customer service is what keeps them coming back. read more

I came in for help because I got some sand jammed in the lens cover, so it would not properly close. Rafael greeted me and initially suggested sending it for repairs, for liability purposes. However, he offered to quick look at it and was actually able to fix it himself! He quickly spotted the problem and just gently shook the camera a couple times. And voila, the lens cover completely closed again! Afterwards, he even cleaned the lens because it noticed it was a little dirty. Thank you so much for the quick fix and great service! Rafael seems to be a responsible and talented worker. Very cool and chill dude. If I have any other inquiries, I trust this shop to do me right. Thank you guys! read more

Visited B&C Camera and honestly, it felt like a dream for anyone who loves photography or creating content. I love that it's a local business that's been part of the community for over 80 years, you can feel that history and passion the moment you walk in. The staff were incredibly friendly and supportive during our visit, answering questions and helping us explore options without any pressure. They have so many gadgets, accessories, and tools that let you customize and personalize your camera setup, which makes the whole experience feel exciting instead of overwhelming. First time here today and blown away by the customer service! This is truly an amazing store - they have a giant selection and the people are genuinely helpful and clearly experts in their craft. Will definitely be doing all future photography purchases here read more

B&C Camera is the only camera store in the Las Vegas area, and I don't say that metaphorically. I know it can be hit or miss with some of the guys who work there, but manager and many of the employees are very knowledgable and are excellent with customer service. They have everything a photographer, digital or analog, would want, including film developing services as well as classes. They have a buy back event every few months, which is helpful for selling equipment. It is an excellent resource for novices as well as experienced photographers. read more

I had a guy named Malachi help me out! I needed to process some film from old disposable cameras and he helped me get it done even though I know nothing about cameras! Quick, kind, and helpful. Also noticed my tcg badge and recommended me places for that too. They were also super quick with getting my photos to me! Thank you! read more

If I could give more than five stars, I absolutely would! B&C has some of the most helpful and patient people I've ever spoken to. I called to ask about a very popular camera that's nearly impossible to find--and I'm sure they get flooded with calls about it--but they still took the time to answer every single one of my questions and went above and beyond to help me track it down. I had a ton of concerns and ended up calling the store about seven times within the span of an hour. At that point, they already knew me by name and phone number--but never once made me feel like I was bothering them. In the end, I secured the camera I've been dreaming of, and I couldn't be more grateful. B&C truly delivers top-tier customer service. Thank you Hope, Adam & Tony for your kindness, patience & determination to get this camera to me!! read more

Highly recommend B&C Camera of Las Vegas! I was looking for a Ricoh GR IV online and almost everywhere I checked was out of stock. Found it in stock at B&C Camera's website and easily placed my order. Shipping was very fast for me, I called to confirm how long it would take to ship from Las Vegas to north CA and the rep mentioned it was too late in the day to ship out same day (Friday evening before closing) and that I would need to wait until Monday to ship out which I was okay with, but I think either the store was able to ship it out earlier than stated, or I just had longer wait expectations because I was pleasantly surprised to receive it on that Monday morning. Extremely satisfied with customer service, my purchase experience, and the product itself :) read more

The best camera store in Vegas, as seen in multiple magazines. Store has everything you could possibly dream of and is very clean. With that being said, the bathroom is phenomenal and is probably my favorite part about the store. Makes you feel like you're at home. . Be sure to check out their lounge area for a warm espresso and comfy seating. At B&C Camera, they are all super friendly and about customer service! They'll go above and beyond to make sure you have every answer you're looking for and even offer you water while you're shopping around. Here in the desert, that's important. The rental department is spectacular. Everything from lights and stands, to lenses and cameras, all for a really low price. Please remember to ask them about their weekend rate because it'll save you lots of money! The camera store even offers student and military discounts on rentals! YOU CAN'T BEAT THAT. Free wifi is available and there is even a computer in the middle of the store for public access. The store offers a variety of classes and specials events that happen quite often! When shopping for cameras or gear, I wouldn't go anywhere else. They beat online because you get to talk to a specialist and get live demos. I definitely recommend this place for all your camera needs. read more

I'm thinking about upgrading my DSRL to Windowless so I stopped in to ask questions. Hope did a fantastic job sorting out all of my questions about what I have, what I'm looking to do with a new camera and the many differences between the types of cameras that I am thinking about. She was patient, kind, and a very good way about relating my limited camera experiences with what she does in a more professional style. When I decide my purchase I will certainly make it with Hope. read more

We went here for a professional camera person to help with our Nikon shutter issue. The man started off being helpful but when he was looking for the storage left on our disc he said if we had a Cannon he would know where it was and then boom he deleted all of our photos on the disc! Don't be fooled. Just because they are the only camera store in Las Vegas you might be better serverd by contacting the camera company directly. read more

I had a really frustrating experience at B&C. They advertise a "24-hour" film developing service, but it actually took 4 days to get my film back. When I called to ask what was going on, I was told their person doesn't work Sundays or Mondays, so they had to "catch up" on Tuesday. That would've been understandable if I had been told that when I dropped off my film. But I wasn't--if I had known, I would've taken my rolls elsewhere. When I finally picked them up, one roll turned out to be empty--which was fine, it was from a thrifted camera. But I assumed I'd at least get a partial refund or discount since there was nothing to develop. Nope. Still got charged the full amount, which meant I paid for literally nothing. To top it off, the photos I was able to get printed came out at terrible quality. The photos were all cut off, cropped in awkward ways, and looked completely different from the digital scans. I honestly didn't have a single positive interaction or experience here. Between the misleading turnaround time, the lack of transparency, no refund policy, and bad print quality--this was a huge letdown. Would not recommend. read more

I've always had great experiences here. The staff is very friendly and professional, and the prices on their film and film processing services are great. I'm a huge fan of the selection of film that they keep in stock, and Hope (I believe that's her name) is always happy to answer questions about the film and make recommendations. read more

In and out. Fast. Accurate service. Knowledgeable staff. Each one tees of the other but not to interject into the sale. Friendly. Efficient service. I know what I want when I go into the store. So I just pick and go. I may look around to see potential future buys. They have just about every lens. Every camera. And they have demos in the back. Just ask. They rent gear of all photography nature. Just as good prices online. But local and now. No waiting 5 to 7 days. Perfect location, freeway accessible about 1/4 mile. Plenty of parking. Backdrop heaven here. If you need a fix. Repairs here as well. Total package here. read more

B&C Camera - Competitive prices with online distributors. Highly recommended support local!!! - Photography Stores & Services Near Me - Las Vegas, Nevada

I searched their camera selection on their website before going, so I knew what I wanted. The store is much larger inside than I expected - large selection of camera's, batteries, camera cases/bags, etc. I bought a digital point and shoot camera from B&C. Salesman was Dave, very helpful with a wonderful personality. When I got home, I didnt open it up for a few days, but when I did, I opened it and started the "set-up" and get familier with it. Then, I realized I bought the wrong camera which was my fault. It was exactly 1 week later from the date I purchased, and returned it with no problem, and bought the correct camera. Met the manager who ok'd the return, and everything was quick and smooth. I even got Dave to help me do the "set-up" on the new camera which only took a couple of minutes. This is my 1st visit and purchase with B&C and I'm very pleased with everything. Great friendly service and no waiting. THANKS! read more

B&C allows ZERO returns, and I would avoid this store completely. With the exception of one store sales guy, the rest of the staff is 100% untrustworthy and will do and say anything to make the sale. This is the only decent camera store in Las Vegas, so when I was looking for a backdrop for some studio work, they had some cloth that I thought would be good to buy and use. I used one of what I bought and decided that I really want them after all, so when I tried to return them, I was told they don't offer returns and that all sales are final. Ok, so I buy a lens and get what I want and then return the lens, ok but if I bought a backdrop or usb cable and everything is a final sale. I went on X to warn people to avoid the store, add instead of engaging with me, i was blocked. is this really how you treat customers? AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COST! read more

Great people. Knowledgeable and helpful. I can talk with them for hours if I had the time. Love this place!

I needed a camera store on the fly while in Vegas and while they didn't quite have the impact brand I was looking for on certain items they did have Manfrotto brand for lighting stands and they were able to find me similar products for a significant markup but hey I wasn't expecting miracles just a quick fix.
