In releasing my first book, I needed the perfect book cover. From the first conversation I knew Tish was the person I needed. She seemed as excited as I was about the book and the cover. She was engaged and offered ideas about the shoot and was willing to scope out a new location to see if it would be right for what I desired. She suggested I bring my husband along and we could get shots of him too. Being that he does not like taking photos, I was not sure how that would work. She not only made him feel comfortable, her love of photography made the entire session fun for us. Afterwards, me and my husband talked about how the session allowed us to release the busyness of life and allowed us to remember our love for one another as we laughed during the session. I am also the executive director of a local nonprofit and me and our assistant executive director needed to take new photos for our 2016 advertisement and marketing. The day of the shoot I was not feeling well, suffering with a pounding migraine, Tish went out of her way calling prior to the appointment to make sure I/we had what we need prior to arriving to make the shoot effortless. She took her time, we did not feel rushed and everything was simple beautiful, When we went to review our photos she had a beautiful slide show that was perfectly in alignment with my book title "I Know It Was the Blood: A Story of Overcoming" she had the perfect background music playing and the photos were in perfect harmonious order and I cried because it made it all real for me again. All of our pictures came out perfect and I am so grateful to have found Tish. She is now the photographer for all of our nonprofit's events and my personal photos, providing she's free. Tish does such a lovely job! We have seen her twice, after each of our sons were born and she exceeded our expectations each time. She is so patient with the babies and doesn't quit until she is sure she has the shot. At our most recent photo shoot our two year old was hesitant to cooperate but she didn't give up and we ended up with a perfect photo. At the same shoot our newborn would cry each time we tried to lay him down for the photo. She was so patient an reassuring to us that we would get it and her patience paid off, we got he most adorable photo I could have ever imagined after he finally fell asleep. She is so creative with the themes of each newborn shoot. She took what we wanted into consideration and put her expert knowledge to work to create the perfect portraits. For each of our boys' shoots we wanted things that were completely different and she was willing to do exactly what we wanted. We ended up with two completely different portraits for our two boys that are totally individual and beautiful. One more thing worth noting is that she is very aware of any insecurities a new mommy might have about her body. The posing and angles she shoots the photos at are very accommodating to a mommy's body and I have timeless portraits that I feel totally confident about showcasing. read more

Tish is an amazing photographer! She did my 1yr old daughters photo shoot and kept my daughter in happy spirits. I was very amazed with the shots she got considering my daughter was on the verge of walking and didn't want to sit still. With the shots Tish captured, you would never know my daughter was a wiggle worm. She made my daughter look like an absolute natural. From the moment we chatted on the phone Tish was very insightful, organized, professional, and personal. We did a consultation with her in person and it was the most wonderful experience to be able to pick and choose the type of captured look we were shooting for. This was me, baby, and hubby's first photo shoot ever. We know how difficult it is to find a great photographer who understands what you are looking for as well as keeping an artistic eye and staying open minded. We were lucky enough to have won a complimentary studio session with Tish, and with hubby's changing work schedule, Tish was flexible enough to adjust her schedule so that we could finally get our 2 month old in for picture day! From the moment I walked into her studio, it was professional, comfortable, and easy going although my hubs was nervous at first. 3 hours later, with a hungry and tired baby ( I breastfed in between takes), Tish went way above my expectations and more. I just picked up the images of my 1 year old's photo shoot and could not possibly be any more pleased. The photos are fun and capture so many different expressions of my little boy. She did my baby's newborn portraits in 2013, which are framed on the nursery wall and absolutely gave the finishing touch to that room. A year later, I'm still in love with the framed photograph and smile every time I look up at it. This time around, she too exceeded my already high expectations. She's pleasant, professional, and knows exactly how to work with and capture your child at their very best and true self. I hired Tish to do some off location wedding photos for my husband and I. She worked with us so wonderfully. I have worked with many photographers in my life and right from the start I could tell she is so passionate about her career and making sure everything is professional, clients are happy while they are shooting and having us feel confident we hired the right photographer. I am so pleased with my whole experience with Tish from start to finish. I called her on a Monday and was able to set up a time and a place to shoot the photos on Wednesday. Just in time to give the photos as Christmas gifts. Tish really takes the time to make sure the time of day for lighting is perfect. I was amazed at how great the pictures turned out! Tish was able to get some really good shots of 3 very energetic boys where in the past I've had nothing but bad luck with other photographers just trying to get them to smile. We found Tish when we moved here in 2013. We have used her 3 years in a row and we don't plan on stopping. The first sitting was a big spread that resulted in many images around our home including a large portrait over our fireplace that everyone stops to ask who the photographer is because it is so beautiful. Tish recently photographed our wedding on Lake Tahoe. She did a wonderful job. SInce the wedding was on the lake, it could have been a challenge, but Tish was able to capture every important moment with ease. I have hired Tish for (2) of the most amazing moments of my life. She was there for my wedding and again right after the birth of our baby girl. She is patient, creative and a wonderful person.
