I found Eva's work online and loved the aesthetic of her newborn photos - she has a great eye and her aesthetic is simple, neutral, and fits well with what we had in mind. Although we had kept her awake for a good hour and a half, our LO was still pretty active when we got there. She takes amazing shots, so I was expecting good pictures, but my expectations were totally exceeded!! Eva -- so sorry this took us 2 months to write!! :) We hired Eva to do our May wedding... she absolutely blew us away! First, the engagement pics. My wife and I were a little nervous... we had never had someone take professional pictures of us before! She made the event fun and had us do some poses that really captured how much we adore each other. She also got us the pictures very quickly, so we were able to use them for our "save the date' invitations within a few weeks, and she even used some of the pictures to make us Christmas cards that we could send our family and friends! We hired Eva to capture our daughter's first year - taking newborn, 3 month, 6 month, 9 month and her one year photos. We couldn't be more thrilled with the wonderful keepsakes Eva has provided us. We took our newborn photos when our daughter was 10 days old. Eva was patient and careful making sure our daughter was comfortable and warm throughout the entire shoot. Eva took pictures of my 3 month old girl. She was very patient, and understood that sometimes a baby just doesn't want to be photographed! She really worked with us to make sure we got all the shots we wanted, even though the baby took breaks to sleep and cry and eat. Eva is amazing! She has photographed many of the meaningful moments and events in my life: maternity, newborn, a special event, and my two older daughters on several occasions. Eva's talents are limitless: 1) she made me not look like a whale at 39 weeks of pregnancy. This deserves 5 stars alone. Through Eva's skillful lens, instead of looking sweaty and uncomfortable and enormous, I actually look glowing and radiant! 2) She made my daughters look like the lovely people they are, despite the fact that one of them was in the camera shy "make a silly face" stage. She also made the shoot fun for them and it really shows in the photos. They look so natural and happy! 3) Eva has such a wonderful way with newborns. She photographed my son at 7 days old. I felt so comfortable with her holding him. She also managed to get him asleep, naked, and looking adorable in about 15 minutes and she gently maneuvered him into these sweet poses without waking him! I wish she could be my nanny! 4) At the special event, Eva was so gracious and professional. She make everyone feel at ease and look fabulous! 5) Eva has some great locations up her sleeve and we were thrilled with the places she suggested. She has an eye for stunning backgrounds and good lighting. However, she also took the newborn photos in our home. It was magic - my house has never looked as good as it does in those photos! My only regret is that I didn't find Eva's wonderful business before I got married. I wish she could have done my engagement and wedding photos too!
