We had a great experience working with Laura at her cozy home studio. She is so talented and professional. She also gave us very clear guidance prior to the photoshoot session so we could be well prepared and have the best experience. The photos came out amazing and I couldn't be happier! I know many years later when I look back at the gallery I will definitely remember that Laura was the one who captured this precious chapter of my life. I highly recommend Babyfaces Photography. read more

We couldn't be happier with our experience working with Laura for our newborn's photoshoot and give her the utmost recommendation! After our baby boy was born, my wife and I realized that amidst the chaos, we never scheduled a newborn photoshoot as we planned. Therefore, we had to find a photographer that had an opening within a week's timeframe, was located within our area, and had fair pricing. Among the photographers we reached out to, Laura satisfied all 3 and was highly communicative and accommodating and made for an easy choice. Ahead of the photoshoot, Laura helped us preplan different poses, accessories, and backgrounds. We had an idea to pose our baby as part of an Asian Dim Sum set with no expectation that Laura could execute it but she encouraged it and got us excited about it. During the shoot, Laura's studio was perfectly set up for our baby and she took precautions as well (facemask, gloves, etc). She was also super adept at swaddling and calming our baby to sleep, so much so that as new parents, we learned some new techniques from her! Laura even accommodated our dog and we were able to incorporate him into a few photos. The photoshoot went very smooth and we felt grateful to have one of the first milestone experiences with our baby. After the photoshoot, we were able to select our favorite ones and Laura made all the necessary edits with a quick turnaround time. We're more than satisfied with our photos and have been very proud to use them in baby announcements and registry thank you cards to our friends and family. read more

Laura was amazing to work with for our newborn photos and family package add on. She went above and beyond to make some props for our baby that enhanced the fantasy feel of the shots. She was very accommodating to our multiple poses and costumes that we wanted to wear. I appreciate that she provided suggestions of what pose adjustments look best and added their expertise. I was impressed at how Laura was able to swaddle our baby for the most adorable poses. I didn't know our baby could be so calm but she worked her baby whispering magic! Laura was very responsive to our outreach and scheduled us for a quick appointment considering our special circumstance with our baby's situation. We were very happy with Laura and we plan on reaching out to her for future family shoots! read more

I am a little hesitant to write a review because Laura is so freaking amazing! I want her and her business to thrive, but I selfishly want to keep her all to myself haha! In all seriousness, Laura is (simply put) INCREDIBLE! Not only are her photos excellent, but she is so kind, warm, and knowledgable. When you come to her studio, she creates a calming and inviting environment that really signals you that you are in great hands. I recently had a newborn and I did not realize how quickly time would fly with all the craziness of a baby. I contacted Laura when my son was about 3-4 weeks (typically you do newborn photoshoots RIGHT AWAY! my bad!). Laura was extremely accommodating and got her on her schedule asap. She was able to work with our son with different shots poses quickly to maximize our studio time and minimize our son's fussiness. We had the best experience and will definitely be coming back for more photos! read more

We went with Laura for my baby's newborn pictures and family pictures. She did such a great job and everything turned out great. She was even able to send final HD edits of a couple of the pictures early! Will definitely use Laura again! read more

We loved working with Laura! She works out of her beautiful home studio and has a designated room for newborns. It's clean, cute and she keeps it warm. Our newborn was comfortable when she switched out swaddles. She did such a great job with posing him and getting the best shots possible. The photos turned out great! After the shoot, she will email the proofs within 3-4 days. From there, you choose which ones you want her to edit and her turnaround time for that is about 7-10 days. Laura is a professional and very passionate about photography! We would 100% recommend her to family and friends. read more

We were extremely happy with our newborn photo session with Laura at her home studio. Her home studio's very clean, comfy and stylish. She's very cautious and wore mask and gloves. She had special ways in calming the baby such that different poses could be taken in various setups. We were completely comfortable with her handling the baby. Laura really went above and beyond to make it an incredible experience. We wanted tulips for the photoshoot but were too overwhelmed taking care of the newborn to go out and purchase the tulips. Laura texted me and asked whether she could purchase for us as she's going to the market. She got us some beautiful tulips to use for the photoshoot and to take home. Our photoshoot went longer than expected but Laura didn't seem to mind. She was focused on getting as many great photos as possible and she's quite the perfectionist. We received many amazing photos to choose from. Laura's patient, kind, professional, detail-oriented and easy to work with. Communication's been efficient and seamless from initial consultation to receiving the final products. Needless to say, we'll be returning for future photography needs. read more

We were very happy with our newborn photo session with Laura. When I reached out to schedule, she responded right away and was very accommodating of my husband's busy work schedule. On the day of the shoot, she was very patient with my newborn, taking breaks for him to feed and settle into the most adorable poses. Her studio is calming and she often checked in with me to make sure the temperature was comfortable for my newborn. At the end of the session, my husband and toddler joined us and Laura was very patient with my high energy toddler! Our pictures turned out lovely and I'd highly recommend working with Laura! read more

Laura was AMAZING! This was my first baby so I didn't realize there was a timeframe for newborn photos. She was able to get my daughter in ASAP! The environment was very calming and space for me to feed my daughter when needed. Her ideas of what my daughter should be in and what pose where so creative and I couldn't wait for the actual photos. Photos were so beautiful and everyone in my family loved them! Will be contacting Laura again for future photos! read more

This review is a little late, a year late to be presise but better late than never. Babyfaces photography is one of the best kept secrets in PLS. We did our daughter's session here and I cannot recommend Laura enough, she's the perfect blend of professionalism and empathy. Yes, I added two very different meaning words together but she truly is that. Not only did she accommodate us in a short notice, but made so many adjustments to the schedule just because we had another young one whose routine had to be emaculate throughout the day. Last but not the least, the pictures themselves were amazing, we couldn't have hired someone better to do it, so if she has dates available, snatch her! She's worth every single penny! read more

My newborn's photoshoot with Laura was really pleasant. She is accommodating, patient, highly skillful, handles newborns really well. We initially planned for 2.5hr session, but things didn't go as planned, but Laura is too kind to extend the session for 90 more minutes until all our selected setups, props were captured. We were really happy with the photos and editing work done, and would recommend highly for anyone who's planning for newborn photography. read more

Laura is great to work with! She is professional and knows how to work with kids. We had a photoshoot scheduled at her house; my 8month old was fussy and not cooperative. Laura's work is amazing (as is she). Super great with kids. Laura was our photographer for both the maternity and newborn sessions and we loved the entire gallery. We approached Laura to capture some candid moments of our one year old. My husband and I did not do a great job capturing her expressions and smile, that we decided to seek help from a professional. Laura was patient throughout the session, gave us pointers to bring out best expressions on my little one's face, and when we received the prints we were very pleased at the outcome. Thank you Laura! Will be back in the future. read more

Laura did such an amazing job with my daughter's newborn photoshoot! Her studio is clean and professional. I really felt at ease with her, especially during a pandemic. Laura was extremely patient and worth more than what she is charging! She's really friendly and the pictures came out beautiful. We also did a family shoot and those images came out amazing. Definitely worth the money for all these memories. I highly recommend her and would go to her for future photoshoots! read more

Laura took newborn pictures for my baby daughter in January. The pictures were fabulous. She was very patient and spent plenty of time to make sure the images were perfect. Recently, I had Laura take Christmas pictures of my daughter. Despite my daughter being tired and the weather not being perfect we still got beautiful pictures which we are very happy with. Laura is definitely unique, personable and a natural with babies. We will definitely be using Laura for future shoots! read more

Laura did a lovely job with my 3 month old son and his grandparents/ family photos. She was so patient, kind and thoughtful about our lil one the whole time and we have a lot of sweet memories now caught on camera. Even our 4 year old lab got a lot of love. Will be doing multisession packages with her as she's so skilled and just as attentive of our baby boy. Highly recommend!! She's vaccinated as well and complies with masking recommendations which is a big consideration in these uncertain times. read more

This was the easiest photo session ever!! Laura is delightful and works quickly and efficiently to get the right shots. She has an excellent eye for detail and lighting. Also she is so personable and made us all feel comfortable. We were all laughing with her which of course made the pictures turn out so beautifully. Laura is an excellent option for a newborn/first year photographer! She was very helpful and kind in assisting me with my 3 month old and all of our belongings. She is patient and waits for the baby to be in a comfortable and happy mood so that she gets the best pictures! Her home is clean and comfortable she even provides a mini heater so that the babies are warm enough to take pictures in just their diapers! I am very pleased with how ALL of the photos looked and we are going to have more photos with her during this first year! The package is the way to go! read more

I like to take professional photos of my kids multiple times a year, so I have worked with many photographers. I have to say that Laura is the most attentive and patient photographer I have met. My 8 month old son and 4 year old daughter can be a struggle, but she was so patient with them and managed to capture some amazing photos. I look forward to working with her again! read more

Beautiful maternity photos with a great price. Highly recommend. She's very easy to work with and good at what she does.

Laura is amazing! We have used her services for the last 4 years (5 times total). We used Laura for the first year package initially and was so happy with the results that we are using her for our annual family photo sessions for the last 3 years. She is very patient with our kids, and has MANY tricks up her sleeves to keep them entertained for 2-3 hours for an outdoor photo shoot. She is always prepared for the unexpected. She captures the magic in their eyes when they are playing and laughing so the pictures don't come out looking posed. They are stunning! She is reasonably priced and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a photographer! read more

Here's my firsthand experience working with Laura since 2010 on eight photoshoots (three newborn and five family annuals). Laura is patient, friendly, easygoing, fun and--above all--artistic with a keen eye for what on-the-shoot shots will result beautiful portraits and action photos. Each year, I get Laura's photos for my year-end holiday card and to display at home. They remain my most cherished possessions, ones that I hope my children will look at with their grandchildren (fingers crossed). Moreover, one child has special needs with behavioral challenges. Laura is very patient with us, bringing lots of toys and props to keep my young boys occupied. Bottom line, Laura is my go-to photographer to capture priceless family moments. read more

We love Laura and her photos! Laura started taking pictures for us when our twins were born and did a set every 3 or 4 months and then photographed our new baby as well. She was always willing to work with us to get exactly what we wanted. She is great with the kids and an AMAZING photographer. Prices are super reasonable considering you get to keep all the pictures, unlike other places where you have to buy the negatives (if they even let you do that). We recently moved to Colorado and were sad to have to leave Laura behind as she has documented the lives of our children so wonderfully. On our last trip back to California we made sure to set up another photo session with Laura for all three of our kids and once again we were thrilled with the results! read more

Laura did our 1st son's newborn pictures 4 years ago and we returned with our 2nd son. The portraits came out beautifully and we absolutely love them. This time around we brought our 4 year old to capture family portraits along with newborn pics. Our 4 year old was uncooperative and beyond energetic to say the least (the adjustment of the new baby has been rough on him lol), Laura was beyond patient and managed to capture such sweet pictures of our two boys and great family portraits despite our 4 year olds unwillingness. She even took pictures of our son with his favorite stuffed animal (he brings it every where we go), which delighted our son. We definitely will be returning throughout the years. read more

We had our son's newborn photos taken by Laura, they turned out great! She was very accommodating, warm and a great photographer! Our baby was being a little fussy during our shoot and she was very patient with us, during feeding and comforting him. We would highly recommend! read more

We love Laura! When our son was born in September 2009, I was searching for a photographer that could capture the essence of our baby that I simply wasn't able to do with a point and shoot Canon. I did a lot of research and just wasn't satisfied with what I found. A friend recommended Laura and we booked an appointment. I was very impressed - she's pleasant, she's comfortable with getting on the ground to get the perfect picture and has more of an artistic feel to her photos. I also found her to be more than accommodating when scheduling our sessions. She's budget friendly AND you receive a DVD of the images for your use! We purchased a year of sittings and booked an additional one for our Christmas pictures. I highly recommend Laura! read more

Laura is the best photographer!! She truly enjoys working with children, and I think this really shows in the great images she is able to capture. Her easy-going attitude rubs off on the kids (and parents!) and makes the entire experience enjoyable. If it isn't obvious already, we would highly recommend Laura! read more

This is the way photography should be. Laura is patient and very laid back. I am so glad we "found" her shortly after the birth of our daughter. The photos she has taken through the years are artistic, beautiful, and pictures that we treasure. The prices are very reasonable, too. I honestly don't think anyone can go wrong by going with Babyfaces. read more

Laura did our newborn photo's when my daughter was 3 weeks old. Not only did the photos turn out fantastic, she was extremely patient with us too. My daughter was awake, squirmy and fussy - all the things you don't want during a newborn session. Laura made us feel comfortable so there was no added stress, waited patiently for me to get her calm and got so many amazing shots of the baby awake! We are already scheduled to get 6 month photos with Laura and looking forward to it! read more
