Review for business headshot for work website: - wonderful can-do attitude - great pricing compared to other photographers - actually did the work of making sure to match my work headshot, to the other photos on our website (had another photographer who didn't check out our website at all) - had good creative ideas of background - let me decide if I wanted indoor or outdoor setting, and suggested the optimal way to take the photo - has dedicated parking at his studio Totally worth it! Highly recommended! read more

Jim was absolutely amazing to work with. At the last minute, my work required a headshot photo of me. The problem was my headshot was from 20 years ago! Based on Yelp reviews, I emailed Jim and he immediately got back to me. We coordinated everything via email including all of my last minute questions and requests. On the day of the shoot, he made it quick and easy and fun! He was professional and knew exactly what I was looking for! I received my photos and they all look great! I would highly recommend him. A huge part of getting outstanding images from all of us is when we are truly feeling good about ourselves in that moment. Most of us need some coaxing and affirmation. Jim Fidelibus is absolutely gifted and experienced in getting people to show the very best of what they can be. No matter what your photography needs could be from one to one - to a wedding of 500, I heartily recommend James Brian Studios, a proud member of the Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce and Visitor's Bureau. read more

There just aren't enough positive things to say about Jim and his exceptional services. He is truly a rare find and the ultimate professional. We hired him for our wedding and were instantly blown away by his years of experience and expertise, his easy-going nature (you know he's a pro!), and his incredibly infectious enthusiasm leading up to and throughout the entire day. Jim is quite obviously very seasoned and well-versed in what it takes to make the day run smoothly. I had absolutely no doubts or fears about his timing/ability to acquiesce to our schedule. He made the whole process absolutely seamless. Beyond the mechanics and logistics of the day, his attitude and excitement over every single picture (literally, every one!) was so contagious! He made us feel so special and like we were truly one-of-a-kind. I've had multiple family members and guests come up to me complimenting him and his demeanor (even now, weeks later). He felt like a wedding guest, fitting in with the other attendees and having just as much fun as we did! What's more, he stayed longer than his contracted time to make sure he captured more dancing pictures, which he knew were important to us. Finally, the quality of the photos are absolutely above and beyond anything we could've expected. He caught the spirit of the day and the emotions so perfectly, capturing all of the moments we were hoping for, and those we couldn't have anticipated. Not to mention -- we received all 700+ pictures less than 5 weeks after our wedding. Truly unprecedented! Again, we are so blown away and just consider ourselves so lucky to have had him as our wedding photographer. Can't recommend him enough! read more

Jim was our first choice photographer for our wedding last month and we couldn't be happier with the pictures! He captured the true essence of us as a couple and our friends and family as a whole. He was so subtle in his movements that we barely noticed he was there. We joked that he must've been going at light speed to capture so many different beautiful pictures from so many different angles! He was so affable and kind. I would heartily recommend Jim as a wedding photographer. I'd say we'd use him again for our next wedding but I know we got it right his time. So maybe an Anniversary portrait! read more

James did a fantastic job on my professional headshot shoot. His energy and positivity paired with a wonderful understanding of lighting resulted in a great shoot. PHenomenal PHotographer!! We just left Jim's studio for business shots and it'd be an understatement if I said we were simply pleased with his work, his enthusiasm and his meticulous eye. From the start he made us feel at ease and very comfortable. He posed us just the right way for a better picture. He offered his very kind yet candid opinion. He was PHabulous!! His personality and the way he conducted the shoot made for a great experience. His keen eye for detail was stupendous: a stray hair was put in place; a slight head tilt this way or that made for a more defined jaw line; foot positioning for a more elongated and symmetrical confident stance; and the list goes on. He truly is talented and your pictures will reflect his expertise and quality of work. We were skeptical at first because the last professional photographer experience we had was with our horrible wedding photographer. Jim quenched those misconceptions immediately. If you wanna feel like a supermodel, go to Jim. If you want great pictures, go to Jim. If you want professional Headshots, go to Jim. If you want a great photoshoot, go to Jim. If you want amazing photographic memories to last you a lifetime, GO TO JIM!! Photography is an art and Jim has a great artistic eye and knows how to make you feel like you're his masterpiece. Pluses: They have a great space to enjoy and relax. There's also the perfect nook for your hair and make-up team should you choose to bring them with you. There's parking in the back, so you don't have to worry about your meter in the middle of your "cheese." Rhonda is there making sure you're taken care and comfortable. read more

Easy peasy, Jim rocked it. Highly recommend! read more

We are a small business located in Walnut Creek, with 20 employees. Last week, we had Jim do our company individual headshots, team photos, and various small group shots. We shot in two locations, one outdoors and one indoors. We have 10 carpenters and craftsmen, and over the years, getting them to smile in photos has always been a challenge. Jim showed up at the first shoot with enormous energy, positivity and enthusiasm. Within moments, he had the team laughing, smiling, comfortable and took many great shots of all individuals, some fantastic team shots, and small group shots that are great. It turned into a fun afternoon, with bonding and laughter, especially as Jim scaled a hillside to get the perfect shot! He advised that the photos would be sent to us in a week, and we actually received them in two days. The price was right, the photos are great, and I could not recommend his services more highly. He's creative and a real pro! read more

So glad we chose Jim to do our Wedding photos this past October! Not only do we have a ton of GREAT shots, he is a super nice guy and fun to be around. He exceeded my expectations in every way and I ended up with wonderful photos to remind me of one of the best days of my life. He captured everything we would have wanted and more! He also does great corporate photos which is how I originally met him. He took the corporate photos that our company uses on our website. I typically hate all photos of myself :-), but Jim managed to get several shots that I actually liked and didn't mind being published for all the world to see. I highly recommend him for all of your photography needs. You won't be disappointed! read more

I needed new headshots for work. After reviewing the websites of local professional photographers, I liked the examples from James Brian Studios. I made an appointment online (very easy), and he sent me emails with a confirmation day/time along with directions. The location is very easy to find and there is a parking space in the back of the building. I was a little nervous, because I wanted natural-looking shots. Jim made me feel at ease. His directions were easy to follow. I really liked the backdrop options and lighting variations. Afterwards, we received the images together so I could tell him which ones I liked. I brought two different outfits and loved the shots in both outfits. The final results are fantastic. I recommend Jim highly! Also, the building/studio looks like a small castle. read more

Jim was fantastic. Super easy going, knowledgeable, affordable and super quick turn around on the photos! Highly recommend.

Great experience! Needed a headshot for business purposes, and Jim came highly recommended. Setting up an appointment was so easy, and he was ready to go as soon as I showed up. He took a ton of photos in different settings and lighting, and then sat down and reviewed them all with me. The whole appointment was less than a half-hour, but I left with 20+ good photos (including several great ones!). He's a complete professional and so positive and upbeat -- he really helped me stay relaxed throughout and gave very helpful guidance when we were looking over the results. read more
