I recently went to this store to have my son's iPhone 5SE to have the screen fixed. When I first went to the store in Saturday, September 19th, they told me they could fix the screen and it would take only 20 minutes and it would be $50. I left the phone and went to another store nearby to shop while I waited for them to fix it. I ended up not coming back for 40 minutes however when I came in the store one of the staff there informed me that they only had a white screen for the phone (my son's phone is black) and he would put the white screen on the phone for $40 instead. I told them I didn't want the white screen on a black phone and that I would take it somewhere else. The another staff member, who was the tech, told me he could order a black screen and it would get here by Tuesday but it would be $50. I told him that was fine and that I would be back Tuesday and asked for the phone. Well, they had already taken the old screen off the phone and told me to leave it there until Tuesday. I WAS NOT doing that and told them I wanted the phone now and would bring it back Tuesday after the screen came in. After several more minutes of them trying to convince me to leave the phone the guy finally agreed to put the old screen back on. They then asked me to pay for the screen now which I also told them I was not doing. I left the store with the phone on Saturday.
Today, I had my husband take the phone back to get the screen put on. My husband brought the phone back and I immediately went to put a screen protector on it. As I was preparing the screen I noticed that it did not align with the phone frame/casing. I still proceeded to place the screen protector on the phone and as I was pressing the screen protector down on the phone towards the corner; the screen cracked. When I examined more closely I saw that the phone screen was several millimeters raised at the top of the phone versus the bottom. Basically, the new screen they put on was not properly placed or secured in the phone casing I immediately told my husband to take the phone back to the store. A few minutes later he called me to say they get resided to fix the screen because I dropped the phone. I DID NOT DROP THE PHONE! The phone was in out possession all of 25 minutes and when from the car to our counter. The staff tried to say there was a dent on the phone. Well, the dent was pre-existing and was present when we brought the phone to be fixed. Even seeing that the phone screen was not secure in the casing the staff member tried to claim that it came out of the casing from being dropped which is BS! I have had several iPhones and NEVER has the actual screen come off the phone from being dropped. Cracked, yes but the entire screen falling out the phone, no!
I write this to warn others, don't go here to get your phone screen fixed! I should have just taken it to Apple so that I could have gotten a warranty on the screen. They did a 1/2 ass job and did it poorly. You definitely get what you pay for. read more
