Orange Theory is way too expensive for what you're actually getting. not enough strength classes so…read morei'm chasing locations for viable options. no virtual classes as they stated they did have. when you're in class, not enough trainer focus on strength side because they are too bogged down with telling people how to run on the treadmill. the strength is where you need the attention for correct form. also, i've seen the trainers do their own training in their classes. the trainers are too busy running around with their mics, but they're really not needed. you have the strength instructional guide and treadmill. so the high pricing each month is to essentially pay a "cheerleader" to sort of tell what to do and give high fives. upon getting a membership, they make you buy a fitness watch for $130!! which is really just a gimmick because it's not needed. the sign up for classes is a double edged sword. great idea if you need to stick to your workout plans, but bad idea if things come up, which life tends to do. and classes don't rollover even if most of the classes you want are booked a week in advance. in essence, the high monthly commitment is not worth it!! go to planet fitness or anywhere else. you won't feel ripped off and you'll actually get way better benefits/workouts. angela

AMAZING and FREE class! Your first class is free so signup online…read more I loved my first class at Pure Barre. I visited on Wednesday, 8 May 2019 with fellow Yelper, Leslie N. I've taken barre classes before in the past but it has been a while since I took one so I couldn't wait to lift and tone my body. CLASS -- The instructor was awesome. I can't remember her name but I think it was Becky. She started off class with a quick 5-min warmup, a 45 min class, and then a 10-min cool down. The class consisted of small movements which are effective to strengthen the core and lengthen the body. We did pushups, held planks, used weights, and then used the bar (a wood rod thing) to do leg lifts and a type of squat exercise that ballerina's do. You don't have to be a fitness pro or super fit to attend the class. I normally prefer high-intensity classes that incorporate weights and cardio but barre was a nice change. It is a good option for cross-training. The class is meant for all levels so for example, if you don't want to pick up weights then you don't have to use it. SERVICE -- I felt welcomed at this studio and the front desk staff member was friendly. Since my friend and I were new, after class, the front desk person explained the membership options to us. It is about $69 a month for 4 classes which is not within my budget right now. One class is $25. I recommend Pure Barre Rocky River studio or any of their locations. This is an exercise class that you can manage and isn't too strenuous. There was even a pregnant woman in the class and the instructor showed her other options (modify) during the cool down (stretching) part of class. **** - 78 total reviews in 2019 - 287 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 12 May 2019

When I arrived I was greeted by a friendly face and was explained how everything would happen in the class! I was nervous to come alone but even the people taking the class welcomed me and made sure I was comfortable. Emmanuelle walked me through everything and was attentive, couldn't have asked for a better instructor. They are apart of the class pass through Cleveland so I can't wait to come back. Thanks again for a great experience :)

I've never done so many chaturangas! personal attention to adjustments and your own needs makes you feel like you are getting the best experience you possibly can. The studio is warm in color tones and ambient lighting. Plenty of space for storing your personal items and plenty of items to borrow or use in your yoga practice, cork and foam blocks, straps, balls, weights, mats, and blankets. Highly recommended getting yourself to this studio before the secret is out!
