I was looking for a new hot yoga studio on the west side of Cleveland since it is closer to where I live, and came across Inner Bliss on the Mindbody app. The drop in classes are $20 but the 5 class pass is $68, and the price discrepancy convinced me to buy a 5 class pass even though I had never been to the studio before. Luckily, I made the right decision! I'm a fan of the Hot Power Flow Yoga classes here (my favorite instructor is Sally!) They are challenging enough where it feels like a good workout, but the environment is still a safe space so I don't feel judged if I need to take a break. Some hot yoga classes I have been to focus too much on hitting specific poses/binds/balances that aren't conducive to all experience levels, but I haven't run into that problem at Inner Bliss. I will definitely be repurchasing more classes after my 5 class pass is used up.

Sacred Hour Yoga is owned by the same owner of Sacred Hour spa as well as a local yoga teacher Jessie. This is a one-room studio. The interior is absolutely beautiful, with the most stunning and oddly soft hardwood floors you've ever seen. Owner Jessie also owns Cleveland Hardwood Restoration and has truly put immense effort into making this space beautiful and inviting. The minute you walk in, you feel relaxed and at-home. This studio requires you to pre-register online as drop-ins are not a thing here. They have a full slate of weekly classes ranging from power vinyasa to restorative and class package options available. Their online scheduling is a breeze to pay by credit card. Sacred Hour Yoga is a truly welcoming studio (physically and socially) and I can't wait to see them continue to grow.

I would think regular classes would not be as packed, but maybe purchasing more weights would be helpful. I will say the back room with all of the accessories did smell wonderful. Giving a low rating though because I discussed with staff in person how I would take another class if they joined Class Pass, but that I was not interested in a membership as this was not something I wanted to do regularly. However, I have received 6 calls since asking me about getting a membership. This is excessive. If someone wanted to join they would contact you. No need to keep calling. It's a great balance--reminders of how to move and align your body properly to avoid injury and deepen into poses with the reminder to adapt to what your body needs. The atmosphere in the old firehouse is lovely and the tiny studio is very well stocked with props. They also offer a variety of classes so those who want to flow will be happy and those into restorative or yin have a place as well. It has an almost "brighter" feel with this name, and I love it! Sunaya is located in Rocky River right on the border of Lakewood and Rocky River. It's pretty easily accessible off the main drag off Clifton, so you can get there without too much trouble. Its located inside a strip mall with ample free parking in a shared private lot. I hadn't attended a class here since pre-pandemic but it was still a solid experience. I attended Monique's slow flow class. Upon arrival, she had all the supportive props set up at every spot, which was so nice! I appreciated that these were set-up already, as it allowed for everyone to be spaced out appropriately during the pandemic (if you're a yogi, you know sometimes people do not respect space when a lot of people sign-up for a class). However, these classes are small by design, which automatically helps. Happy to be back at the new Sunaya Studios!

I had Shelby as my massage therapist this time. She was just as good as Michelle. I loved the combination of techniques that were used. Having a choice of aroma therapy was a nice addition to the experience. The schedule does fill up. I booked all 3 of my massages at the same time so I could have my choice of times. Booking 2-3 months out gave me full run of the schedule. They have a reasonable 100% refund if reschedule / cancel prior to 24 hours policy.
