This is all due to the fact that I am a bit of a control freak, as well as major perfectionist. So at first, I didn't see the need to hire a wedding planner because I was very convinced that I could handle all the planning by myself and I would also remain in full control of every aspect of our wedding. Six months into the never-ending wedding details and planning, I came to realize that I could no longer handle all the stress and emotions that came with planning a wedding. With only five months until our wedding, I found Amber Lee by pure coincidence (possibly fate) and made the decision to hire her as our wedding consultant. One of the best decisions that we made about our wedding was hiring Amber Lee of LoveLee Weddings & Events! And one of the biggest mistakes about our wedding was not hiring her sooner!!! I can't say enough about how wonderful it was to have Amber Lee as my wedding consultant and coordinator. At my first consultation with Amber, I immediately felt a sense of relief and knew I could trust only her with making our wedding exactly what we imagined. Amber is such a joy to work with and I quickly developed a level of comfort with her that often takes a very long time to build with me. She made us feel important by getting personal from the get-go. At our first meeting, she wanted to know all about how my husband and I had met, how he proposed to me and many more questions just to get to know who we were, both as a couple and as individuals. Amber is very thorough with every aspect of planning a wedding and she doesn't miss a beat. After our first few consultations, she quickly had the plan set in motion. Because she was so thorough with going over all the details I had already worked out prior to hiring her, she was able to point out some both minor and major details that needed to be taken care of that I had completely overlooked! So Amber got me back on track and really helped clear the clutter out of my mind so I could focus on what absolutely needed to be done. She also created several timelines which kept me on track. Even though Amber came along only a few months out from our wedding, she picked up all the loose ends and met with me regularly to make sure I was on track. She also contacted the other vendors who were hired for different aspects of the wedding and reception. She made sure our wishes were made known with the pastry chef, caterers, photographer, musicians, including the pianist for the church ceremony and band for the reception. She also contacted the minister to coordinate all the details of the wedding, so when the time came for rehearsal she had every detail in order. Prior to the wedding, she made detailed instructions for each party of the wedding, from parents, to attendants and for myself and my groom. This helped keep everyone on time for the day of the wedding; from getting ready to getting to the church on time. She even came to the rescue when my eyelashes came off my face right before I was to walk down the aisle. She was also instrumental in the timing of all events during the reception, to our entrance, first dance, toast, cutting of the cake and eating, and sparkler send-off. I can't imagine what a mess our wedding would have been without Amber. She kept my nerves calm and carried out every detail that I asked for and much more. I couldn't believe how calm and at-ease I was on the day of our wedding, and I know I would have been a nervous wreck had it not been for Amber. She went above and beyond to make sure that I had the wedding of my dreams and because of her, I most certainly did. I truly encourage all brides-to-be to hire Amber Lee of LoveLee Weddings & Events. This will be one decision you will not regret and you'll be so glad you hired her when you're able to look back on your wedding day and remember it as being the best day of your life, rather than a stress-filled disaster. This little inn is perched at the top of a hill just far enough away from town to feel like you are way out in the country, but close enough that you could drive down the road for a midnight taco if you're feeling peckish. The house itself smells of lavender and whatever gourmet delight the owner has cooked up today. It is warmly decorated without being garishly "country," and the room we stayed in (Sage) was very comfortable with it's high ceilings and friendly colors. The shower in our room was spacious, although the shower head was mounted quite low (if I had to pick at nits, this would be my only complaint). The bed was wide and soft (I should caution you about the risk of slipping into a mid-afternoon coma if you lay on it after a big meal). We signed up for the cooking class with Pamela Murski and it was an absolute delight. She is so friendly and fun to be with. The instruction was very low-pressure, as she walked us through the preparation of a 5 course meal, supplying great advice on technique and plenty of interesting stories about the food, the (very fresh!) ingredients, and her experiences. The food was amazing, and for this one day, it was easy to forget about the cares of the big bad world out there and focus on good food and the people you are with. I think that is exactly why we came - and I wish we didn't have to leave.

Pamela is an excellent hostess and she makes sure that you have everything you need. We found this B&B when we were looking for an elopement package. We are having a big wedding next year but wanted to do something just for the two us before then. Pamela ensured everything was taken care of for the ceremony and that our day was special. We didn't have to worry about anything, we got married by the gazebo, drank wine on the porch and ate an outstanding meal prepared by Pamela. Dinner consisted of homemade soup, Sheppard's pie made with lamb, venison and ground pork with twice roasted mashed potatoes on top and for desert we had an apple pie sort of dish with Blue Bell ice cream on top. To die for!! We wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy all the features of the B&B but unfortunately we had to go back to Houston. We will definitely be back for a weekend of R&R soon!!

Linda sold herself from our very first meeting. Angel was the first venue we toured, we went to two others after, but neither could compare to Angels beauty or Lindas charisma. She was there every step of the way to answer any questions I had or offer up suggestions when I was stumped. With her as my day of coordinator, I knew I didn't have to worry about anything. My fiancé and I got engaged in Jan 2019 and after venue shopping and planning, we were referred to Yvette in May 2019. At the time, we decided to not do a pop up since we ended up deciding to do a wedding on a cruise in 2020. Well obviously that fell apart thanks to the pandemic! Yvette was there to save the day! We were hoping things would get better in 2020 but COVID cases kept rising so we said screw it, let's do the pop up wedding! And we are SO happy that we did! We didn't want to do a huge party and spend thousands on a wedding but we got the upscale wedding look for so much less. Yvette and her team were offering these COVID packages (see their Instagram to see if still on going) and we had an officiant, seating for 25, cake, photographer venue and decorations all for under $2000. My family was worried that since we were spending significantly less than the average wedding cost that it wouldn't be as nice. In fact, we were criticized prior to the wedding, but then the day of the wedding arrived and they were in awe. It was so romantic and beautiful. Yvette and her team added flowers, candles and just made the night so magical. The cake was delicious and over all the experience was dreamy and magical. Pop Up Weddings Houston also go beyond the pop up wedding bookings. Yvette does weddings of all sizes! They actually do wedding give aways on their instagram so check it out if you're recently engaged! They also work with vendors/partners who provide live streaming services, photo booths and more! Anyways, major thanks to Pop Up Wedding Houston! I am totally referring my engaged friends to them!
