The insurance person in the pharmacy works miracles, and everyone is accurate. The app helps find things, since staff are mostly all busy taking orders out to cars, and it's hard to get help inside. This review is for the deli-sandwich portion…read more One of the best sandwiches I've had in years. I live in Chicago area and simply cannot get a good sandwich. Either the bread, the condiments, the temperature (what's with heating the sandwiches) something is always wrong. Originally I am from northern New Jersey so I am used to NYC style delis, which consistently speaking, are the best in the country. That's how sandwiches should be. Anyway, ole girl and I were doing a road trip, this place had good reviews. The sandwich was absolutely delicious and made with LOVE! I would absolutely go back, and absolutely highest recco! I am new to the area and had to learn the hard way about this place!…read more Let's start off by saying this place looks like a store you'd see in a zombie apocalypse movie or something..... I walked in and the shelves were practically bare! There isn't much of a choice of anything and it was dirty. However, I just needed a couple things and didn't want to travel all the way to the Walmart in Houghton so I decided to give it a chance. I walked through the produce section to get some bread and there was rotting produce sitting on the shelves. Then I went to the frozen section and grabbed one of the last containers of vanilla ice cream they had which cost $5.99... this should have been a warning sign. I asked the cashier why the shelves were so bare and she responded, "we're having problems with distributors." I now know this was a lie!! When I got home I served the ice cream with pie to my husband.... His response, "is this some cheap no name brand ice cream?" It was horrible.... It tasted like it had been left out to melt and then refrozen... Totally frost bitten with no flavor at all. Who knows how old it was!!! I threw it out and I will NEVER waste my money on anything from this store again! After talking to others I found out this was normal with frozen foods from this store.... I'll stick to econo foods or Walmart from now on!!

Duane and idk her name but older, longer hair, she's short with glasses. anyways they were talking about me pretty much saying I'm a stoner coming down late before closing getting some munchies. it was actually for my kids. This isn't the first time i had an experience coming down 20 minutes to close with the employees being upset that people come in so late. when their ready to go home and don't want to stay later and clean up or whatever it may be. Have they thought that maybe people work late and have no choice but to come in late??? It sucks because me and my family have been coming here for over 10 years !! it would be nice if i came in and seen a smile on there faces, maybe they shouldn't work so late if they don't like being there for closing. I live in baraga so we come down here but, maybe we will have to take our services elsewhere.
