This is THE place to go for you or your loved one struggling with substance abuse. I fought tooth and nail to not come here... but it turned out to be the greatest turning point of my life. The staff is amazing and I truly believe Phoenix Rising Recovery should be the model for rehab treatment venues all around the world. The key for me was the wide variety of people and approaches to recovery offered. It's all there for the taking if you are ready and willing to participate in your recovery process. Personally, if it had been the type of place that offered only one point of view with a "My way or the Highway" type of attitude, I would have walked out on day two. But I stayed a full thirty days , and like so many of the people who were there going through the program with me, I would have gladly stayed longer ! The Staff at Phoenix Rising Recovery helped me and guided me in taking time out from my hectic life, to look at why I started abusing substances and why I continued to do so even long after it was no longer any fun for me, my family, my friends, and people around me in general. Phoenix Rising showed me new coping skills from psychological, spiritual, practical, and simply humanistic perspectives that I had never even considered. And they didn't force feed the concepts... they simply presented a wide spectrum of concepts for consideration and allowed me to discover what worked for me. Besides one-on-one counseling and therapy sessions, they also kept us very busy with all kinds of group activities and outings, so we could experience how much fun we can have without having to get drunk or stoned ! I tell you in all sincerity, I feel that I am finally the man I always wanted to be... fun, wise, confident, loving, compassionate, creative, strong, and happy. I cannot thank the staff enough for all the help and support they have provided my family and I. The treatment center changed my view on my entire life and gave me the courage to face my addiction head on. The staff became part of my family and uplifted me when I could not. After my stay I moved to their sober living and IOP program. I could not be more thankful, the continued programs through IOP have enabled me with the necessary life skills to continue my sobriety in a confident and healthy lifestyle. The sober living is everything I could want and more. It has a pool, laundry room, common area with tv and games. My favorite part about the sober living is the staff and brotherhood that has developed throughout my time here. As a gay man I was hesitant about living with a bunch of recovering male addicts however, I have been welcomed with nothing but love, support, and friendship. I will recommend this place if you are serious about your recovery. I had an amazing experience that changed my life for the better. Granted I have to use all the tools that were taught to me! The groups are exceptional. All the staff cares it offers a wide variety of methods to help you with your sobriety. Margo was my counselor and she went way above what I expected and we will have a life long connection. Tracy head of the techs doesn't mess around and will call you on your stuff but don't let that fool you she really does care!! All the techs have something to offer. Mike is the mens counselor what I learned in his groups guided me. I could tell by my male peers they understood and appreciated him. Ed was great. The yoga and meditation was a game changer. I wish there were more then 5 stars because this program deserves more then 5 stars. For real. I crawled into Phoenix Rising completely shattered. Emotionally, physically and spiritually. I definately did not see myself going any further then detox. I've been to a number of other treatment programs and this house had something that the others didn't. I felt welcomed from the day I walked through the door, the techs, counselors and everyone who works there genuinely care for everyone's well-being. I wasn't just another dopefiend coming in and out the door. The love, hope and encouragement at this program is indescribable. I ended up choosing to stay here for 90 days, and it was probably the smartest decision I've made in years. This may sound cliché but I will always have a special place in my heart for Phoenix Rising and all of the staff members there. Phoenix Rising was a life changing experience for me, I went there a little over a year ago and have been sober ever since (one day at a time). The facilities are top notch and the staff was kind, compassionate and understanding. My time there was monumental in building the foundation I needed to continue a sober life. With the help of the knowledgeable staff I was able to learn about this disease through our group sessions. Another awesome part was once off detox I was brought to an outside meeting every night of the week. All these tools they gave me laid down the base foundation to go back home with and continue to live sober. The facilities themselves like I mentioned were outstanding between the swimming pool, the gym, basketball, ping pong table not to mention comfy couches and nice TV's, there was always something to do to keep yourself busy when not in group sessions. The food was also phenomenal they have a personal chef that cooks meals based on what you prefer. Overall a great experience for me and I would highly recommend it. read more

When I came into Phoenix Rising I was broken, I thought I had nothing left to live for. The staff at the facility brought me in with open arms and told me everything would be alright and something told me deep inside I could believe them. The care and patience they have toward the clients is remarkable. They really made me look at what I had buried inside and bring it to the light. The facility is absolutely amazing, offering me some serenity, to really focus on myself. The director really fought for me my whole stay in residential, she really cares about my well being. I have been to numerous treatment/detox centers and I have to say Phoenix Rising has saved my life. I am currently enrolled in school, and start a new job next week. Phoenix Rising staff have saved my son's life! They did tell me he was a very hard case, in and out of rehabs for almost twenty years. Daniel entered Phoenix Rising on July 4th 2019 and walked out ten days later. During the months that followed they would check in with him and see if he was ready to come back. On December 27th 2019 Daniel finally was ready to accept the offered hand and they sent an Uber right over for him. He was homeless on the streets and no money for drugs after having been arrested for stealing and whatever else he could do. Amy, John and the staff have worked with Daniel to not only recover from booze and drugs but to help restore his soul. It has been a long twenty plus years of watching my son battle his addictions! When I thought I lost all hope, Phoenix Rising was recommended. I traveled two thousand miles to check into this facility and it was well worth it. The Staff treated me with dignity and respect. They were always professional and inspiring. I went through residential, PHP, and IOP treatment. These programs were exceptional. I am a better man, husband, father, brother, and son due to the inspiration and tools I learned at Phoenix Rising. I am happy to say I am a recovering alcoholic in better health mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally. There are fewer clients than the larger facilities which allows for more sharing, caring, one-on-one therapy, as well as group therapy. The Staff and Management team are second to none. This place has changed my life! It is what you are willing to make of it. One day at a time I have been going for 7 months from the inpatient to iop/sober living. It is the only place I have been that isn't all about the money and really cares about your well being as a person trying to get your life together. When it comes down to our safety there is a zero tolerance policy which gives me piece of mind as well as other clients. That goes from the top of the ladder on down, they hold everyone accountable, staff included and are quick to keep this place a safe clean and sober place to grow and become a productive member of society. 2 years ago I came to Phoenix rising and it was the most life changing I've ever made. Phoenix Rising is honestly the best inpatient I could ever imagine going to. The staff is out right phenomenal. They care so much for their clients and go out of their way to truly give you the best experience you can have. I did so much growing there, I had to get uncomfortable for me to truly grow and learn. This place is terrible. Absolutely terrible! The staff at the iop are unsympathetic, lazy, and run terrible groups. They know nothing about addiction and they do not care about the client or their future in a successful recovery program. Their actual sober living house is just down right pathetic. The house manager staff lacks common respect and basic management skills. The lack of supervision is unreal. I would never recommend thus place to anyone that us seriously trying to attempt recovery. There are no words to describe the amount of love and care I received at this facility. The staff is very experienced and pushed me hard to examine the deepest parts of myself. I have been to several treatment centers and none compare this. The community and facility is a beautiful place and offered me the solitude and serenity I needed to heal on the deepest levels. My experience here so far has been very positive. Everyone has been very welcoming, kind, and attentive. The daily program is intense but absolutely necessary. I have gotten more out of Pheonix in just two weeks than I did in two months at Betty Ford. The staff here actually cares about you and your well being instead of just being another paycheck.
