When I was eventually assisted, the interaction felt unfriendly and unwelcoming, which was disappointing as this was my first time visiting the office. I was not seen until approximately 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment time on top of getting there 15 mins early. The first staff member I encountered during my walk to the room my visit was very kind and welcoming, which I appreciated. The provider I was scheduled with was professional and direct; However, I was concerned by the way information regarding prenatal care was communicated. I had only found out that I was pregnant two days prior to this appointment, and my intention for the visit was to confirm the pregnancy and receive guidance on next steps, including when to begin prenatal vitamins. During the discussion, the provider strongly emphasized the risks of not having started prenatals already, including mentioning spina bifida and other serious complications. Given how early I am in the process and the purpose of my visit, this approach felt unnecessarily alarming rather than supportive and educational. Additionally, my experience with the phlebotomist was concerning. She did not provide any warning before inserting the needle and displayed poor bedside manner throughout the process. When I mentioned that I was feeling faint and asked if she was almost finished, I was told that it was a "mindset thing," which felt dismissive and inappropriate given the circumstances. Overall, I left the office feeling upset and in tears. This experience did not meet my expectations for compassionate patient care, especially during what can already be an emotional and vulnerable time. As a result, I do not plan to return to this location. I hope this feedback is taken into consideration to improve the experience for future patients. However the ultrasound doctor strongly advised to give birth at a hospital. At the time we didn't understand why or the urge to sway us away from the birthing center. When we told the midwive she immediately tried getting rid of me as a patient. I had to call around different doctor offices trying to be seen at 39 weeks which was impossible to get an appointment. My husband finally bugged the midwife enough for her to tell me to "go to a hospital, lie about having contractions" that she would make a call and have some random doctor that I've never met claim me as his patient for me to be admitted. We were left with no doctor, no help, no answers, told to lie to medical staff. It was completely stressful. No medical facility should ever treat someone like this ! Especially someone who is pregnant . It turns out that OUR midwive was responsible for the death of a baby during labor. 3 months prior to my delivery. Along with a list of previous medical misconduct. In the end we lucked out with a healthy baby, but literally shame on all of you. You all knew what was going on and you guys could have stepped in and provided the necessary care. https://mediaassets.abc15.com/html/embeds/Midwives%20database/Karin%20Braun.pdf KARIN BRAUN I HOPE YOU NEVER GET YOUR LICENSE BACK!!

So, if it seems a little coldly written considering the words, well, I waited so it didn't sound blubbering. I was recommended to AZ Perinatal Care because I was pregnant with twins and therefore high risk. Did you know that ultrasounds aren't supposed to be painful? I had no idea! That is until I left this place and went to a real doctor's office! The ultrasound tech at AZ Perinatal Care was so rough and pushed on my stomach so hard that it caused pain. Sad thing is...that wasn't the problem with this place. After my first visit, I saw my regular OB again and mentioned the stoic, quiet, odd bedside manner of Dr. Pedron. He laughed and said, yea, he's a little different, isn't he....again, this is not the problem. On my third visit, he comes in and looks at the ultrasounds and then simply turns to me and matter of fact says, "Baby B isn't going to make it. She is too small. We need to discuss options to terminate baby B for the health of Baby A." Uh, I'm sorry, what did you just blah, blah, blah, at me in no uncertain terms. Not, "we might want to consider, or their is a possibility, just simply that she isn't going to make it. I pointed out that she was still growing and was larger than last time and that her heart was beating strong. I mean, if the fetus is doing her part to grow and live, why would we decide to destroy her because her brother is bigger than her? He held his position, so I left. I called my husband blubbering across the parking lot telling him to find me another doctor. By the way, the new doctor he found was AMAZING! I hope that women who visit this man are strong enough to make their own decisions and not just listen to him because he is a doctor. He knew not what he was talking about. Beyond that, telling a pregnant woman something like that so coldly and as if it was a fact could cause a person to be so distraught that it would be damaging to the pregnancy. Both my twins were born healthy, and are happy, wonderful people...who both always show up in the 99% for size at every doctor visit. I hate to think that people follow his advise. There's no reason my beautiful daughter didn't have a chance to make it into this world...but if I had listened to him she wouldn't be here. That makes Dr. Pedron the worst choice.
