Including the desserts. I loved it so much that I excitedly tweeted to them that I would singlehandedly keep a restaurant open in Brighton. And they replied to me telling me to wait. Well... the wait is over! Today I was invited to the opening of the new Leon Restaurant in Brighton which replaces Eat. I think this is a brilliant swap as Eat was far too similar to its neighbour Pret. But Leon is quite different in that it offers warm, hearty food. Setting up just before winter is also probably a good move. The decor is really nice and chilled out. They make good use of the space which I've previously found a bit dark and claustrophobic. Katy and I were greeted by some of the nice workers at Leon and told we could each choose a meal and drink to have on the house. We both went for the Moroccan Meatballs (on my recommendation). I had a lemonade to drink and Katy went for a green smoothie. We also picked up a few sweet treats: my favourite lemon and ginger slice and a billionaire shortbread for Katy. The meatballs are my favourite so I knew I would like them, but Katy had never been to a Leon and she loved it as well. She began talking about how close it is to her work and how she will be able to pop in on breaks for a relatively healthy and warm meal. We also tried searching for the menu online and a sneaky link to Deliveroo popped up. So we're hoping they're going to be one of our delivery options soon.

One of the containers (which was at the bottom of the bag) had a corner broken off of it and was blamed on delivery, although when I explained it was at the bottom of the bag and there was no broken plastic anywhere I was informed it was still the delivery drivers fault (who was on a moped, which is understandable if there was eveidence of the broken piece)......... Does this mean that the delivery drivery driver picked out the broken piece or that the person who handled my food container was so careless that they didnt even realise????? There was no display of the fact that I would get dipping sauce with my won tons so I ordered a sauce (£2.50) and when my order came there was a sauce already with it, fine thats not a problem, in fact thats a good thing I get free sauce with my won tons, although maybe a side note when im ordering it wouldve been good so I knew that there was already sauce with it so i didnt have to buy sauce for no reason. (See Byron, GBK, etc). A grubby, greasy burger is a welcome change. I also compare it to In-N-Out because they don't have a large menu. Basically, order a burger (one or two patties) and tell them what you want on it. That's it. No fancy names like "The Taxidriver" etc. Did I mention, the burgers are amazing? Really good, believe me, I've tried _all_ the burgers and these ones are good. Spicy chips (fries for y'all Americans) are great too but they're huge portions. I recommend getting a regular between 2 or 3 people. The only downside is that this particular Five Guys doesn't really have the "eat some peanuts and throw the shells on the floor while you're queuing to order" culture. Not that I wouldn't come because of it, but it's a fun tidbit that I would tell people about when suggesting Five Guys. Would come again!
