Owner is a wonderful person! Would recommend patronizing. Have only heard great things about this place and the owner himself.

There is also karate and dance schools, which is great too. Customer service: both the owners are extremely professional and friendly. My son seems to enjoy his teacher. I have observed another teacher, Mr Mike who seems like a really amazing guy and helps special needs swimmers - awesome! Cost: it's a fair- my son was recently at goldfish, but really struggled to get more than 10 minutes(30 minute lesson) in the water with his teacher. We decided that private lessons were a better value and it actually turned out to be the same cost with a lot more pool time at Kids First. Con: the location seems to be a bit dated and lacks kid features, like stools in the bathroom or low sinks. I can look past all of that because I know my son is getting so much more pool time and actually learning to swim. We already tell our friends this place is great and look forward to seeing him improve week over week! Overall this place is a good school for any kid!

Save yourself the headache. This business is so unprofessional and overall just rude in how they…read morehandle themselves. I have an infant who is super colic but enjoys the water so i thought signing her up for early swim lessons would be fun for her. I attended one class and I was right, she loves the water. Because of this i was talked into prepaying for two more classes and was pretty much going to see how she liked it the more we came in the month of December however when I arrived 10 minutes early to my scheduled class, i was locked out of the building. My class was for 10 am and i was there at 9:50 am so i had enough time to get the baby ready without rushing her around. I had her in the carseat and she was crying in a dirty diaper (was hoping to get in and change her before the class started) on one arm and all of ours bags in the other in the freezing cold wind pulling and pulling on the front door with no luck. Most businesses in this area do not open until 10 am so i walked to the window where you can see if there is an instructor in the water and I see the instructor with a little girl. The little girls proceeds to point at me and the instructor makes no moves to acknowledge me at all which felt super dehumanizing. At this point i am beyond stressed out and now worried that i have had my daughter out in the cold for too long so i try the door one more time with no luck. Before leaving I make a phone call and leave a message requesting that I be refunded for this class and the future class I paid for since i had no way to get into the building and the whole ordeal just put a bad taste in my mouth. I get a phone call back saying that she saw me in the mirror she just didnt turn around and that she cant give me a refunded but I can get a credit and that the door wasnt locked it was stuck. I yanked on this door for 8 minutes straight. If a door gets that stuck one, a sign should be on the door letting their paying customers know, two have more staff so someone is at the front desk and can see the struggle and help or three FIX IT. Why would i want a credit to return to a place that made me feel dehumanized and overall screwed up my entire morning. I was told she would reach out to her manager and see if a refund can be done and then she will get back to me. She never called me back so today, my daughters dr office is near by so i decided to stop by and get some answers. I was told she didnt turn around due to a neck injury she has but that she did see me. She didnt call me back because i sounded like i had a bad day.... Uh what? ok. And that her manager knows the door gets stuck, oh well, and is denying the refund but no worries i can use the credits to buy 70$ worth of goggles, throw a party, save them for when my daughter is older or get a certificate to give to a friend.. Excuse me? How does that even sound. Its like a slap in the face and a haha i have your money. I was just so astounded by the lack of understanding and accountability this business took. There is no way to contact the guy who is making these final decisions and i then ask if this guy has kids and she told me no which i then said i do not find surprising at all since he doesn't seem to understand how much effort goes into getting children out and ready for activities like this let alone an infant and just how overstimulating it is to have a crying cold uncomfortable baby on one arm and bags in another all while trying to get to the place you need to be. To the man who owns this business i highly suggest maybe babysitting or being around children yourself before continuing to own a business marketed to children so you can see just how much us parents go through and why a little 70$ refund to a parent who struggled because of how your staff and you handle the situation means so much.
