Tanesha was absolutely amazing! I've had Reiki done before and also do Reiki myself, but her unique experience was next level. I had been struggling with some things work-wise and during my session with Tanesha I had a complete breakthrough. It brought tears to my eyes and opened things up like I hadn't believed would be possible in the moment. I'd recommend her any day. She was very respectful, calm, supportive, and professional. Hey folks... you are fortunate to have stumbled upon Tanesha. Sometimes these things happen for a reason. My wife and I stumbled upon her 3 years ago on a whim. It was intended to be a one-time thing with us getting massages in our home. That one-time visit turned into 3 years of twice a month massages at our home. A few notes... If you are looking for someone to make you comfortable and sooth you for an hour, I'm sure she can do it, but it would not utilize her fully. Tanesha is a professional, he knowledge of body function is substantial, and she fixes issues causing long term benefit and alleviation of pain rather than just feeling good in the moment. I also had her do reiki - which I hadn't done in the past. I'm not sure how it works but it does calm the mind down quite a bit. Good conversation, when wanted - always on time. Jillian met with me earlier this week and I am most appreciative of the work she did. I am in my mid-60's and have a number of accumulated knots in my neck, back and lower back. I also have chronic sacro-iliac pain. First, Jillian LISTENS! not only to my words but also to my body. She found knots I didn't know were there. Her touch is measured to the need for pressure and she took the time to allow the knots to release. Oftentimes, massage therapists will just rub or press on a knot and move on but Jillian took the time to really let it unravel. The range of motion on my neck is greatly improved AND my hips were loosened enough to h have some playful dance moves in the living room with my grandkids! Amazing! Kyle (Steven) was professional and very pleasant. He showed up around 15 minutes earlier to listen to my concerns and explained plan of action since this was my first appointment. My concerns were the pain and restricted movement of my neck. During the session, he focused on neck and shoulders areas by using the right amount of pressure and stretching to relieve the tension. Afterward, the pain seemed to melt away and I was able to turn my neck without restrictions or pain. Kyle was very knowledgeable in his field and I believed that he could help you too. Steven Kyle Wilcox literally changed my life with a medical neuromuscular massage. I had been in ER for extreme, all-day-long stabbing pains in my head near my ear, felt like someone was hitting me in the head and stabbing me with a knife, excruciating. I was diagnosed with trigeminal neuralgia (face nerve system disorder) and sent home with drugs that weren't really helping much and an unofficial referral to neurologist. I began to pray to God to help me find an alternative way to get help. A week of increasing pain and still no insurance approval in sight, I looked up "medical massage" on Thumbtack and found him with rave reviews and LOTS of them compared to any other therapists on there. Also, he took an extra load of classes through NHI to be certified for "neuromuscular massage" which sounded hopeful for my situation. He came to my home on a Sunday morning and gave me a neck and shoulder massage unlike any other I've had. It was very methodical and gentle, locating the cause rather than just massaging sore muscles, and he is an encyclopedia of knowledge about the body systems as well as has a very caring, sincere manner and explained to me what he was doing the whole time, asking for feedback as he worked to better understand what was happening in my system. He was genuinely concerned and observant of my posture, movements, etc and had tips/exercises for how to improve on my own as well, super helpful! He did not try to upsell me at all and, in fact, told me to wait several weeks before another massage in order to heal properly. Lo and behold, he was God's answer to my desperate prayers for pain relief! He was very familiar with my symptoms and diagnosis and knew where to start working. There was a loud pop (something slipped back into place) while he was gently massaging a nerve as well as other maneuvers along my neck and head that made me feel lighter and less tense. One immediate noticeable difference before he even left was that when he arrived, my right eyelid had been drooping and twitching, and when he was done, he said, "Wow, go look in the mirror, your eye looks open and lined up normal again. It's not drooping. " and I also didn't twitch much anymore after that. He told me to observe reduction of symptoms over a day or two as my body adjusts as well as change things about my posture and do some exercises he demonstrated. I noted small improvements the first day, bigger improvements the second day, and huge improvements the third. I finally was able to sleep through a whole night for the first time in a while! I am beyond thankful! Still needs work when he comes back and I still need to see a neurologist, but I can at least function now, thanking Jesus, and, of course, thank you, Kyle! read more
