Banh mi

Four of us enjoyed meeting up at PhoEdin. Eating outside with a beach vibe was fun. The workers were very pleasant too. The food however was very average. We started off with Vietnamese Coffees. They were not made with enough cream or sweetness. The result was they tasted like a cup of extra strong coffee. Then I ordered a Banh Mi sandwich with tofu. As I said there were 4 of us, & my order was taken last. They brought out the 1st person's order by itself. About 7 minutes later the 2nd person's order came out. 7 minutes later the 3rd order came out. 7 minutes later my order came out. The result was as I began eating, the 1st person was already done. My Banh Mi sandwich was extremely plain tasting & small. It tasted fine, but for good Vietnamese food, my thought is there are many better places nearby.

10/10 loved this walk up food stand with outstanding Vietnamese food. Neatly tucked in downtown Dunedin right on the trail which makes the location a lot of fun! Food had authentic bold flavors that were light and refreshing while out doing activities. Staff was also very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend for anyone in the area.

Okay, this has probably been by far my worst Phở experience ever. It started off looking cute and all, but then realized they don't have an inside. It's just outdoor seating. But it's 58° and rainy out, so I decided to order it to go. Their menu is extremely limited and definitely not authentic. No raw eyeround beef, no tripe. Their beef is only brisket. And apparently the pricing is no meat! So of course I asked for beef and pork belly. But then I get charged $4 for "extra beef". I asked why, they said they charge extra when you order 2 proteins. What?! Your menu doesn't indicate this. I paid $19, yes $19 for a bowl of Phở! The most expensive Phở I've ever had in my life! And I grew up in New York and spent my entire adult life in Boston. The 2 most expensive cities in the country! Phở is supposed to be one of the cheapest and fastest food ever. Check out how much meat actually came in my order. And look at this dinky container of soup that came with! Never in my life have I spent over $15-20 for Phở and usually a drink, and sometimes even a dessert before taxes and tip. Total for everything was $32 AND it wasn't even that good! I could have gotten a steak entree elsewhere instead. This place definitely caters to all the non-Asians that don't know any better in Dunedin. This was definitely a one and done for me. Good bye! Next!

I have nothing but great things to say about my experience eating at PhoEdin. The girl taking my order was so polite and kind. The outdoor seating area is adorable and has big tables for big parties! When the owner brought out my Pho soup, she was so welcoming , it made me feel like I was at home! My pork belly pho was absolutely delicious and the portion size was great for the price! I will definitely be taking the drive down to Dunedin to come eat here again.

Had a lovely lunch! The tofu bun was fresh and extremely flavorful. Owners were very nice and it was great service.

I ordered pho and summer rolls through Uber eats and it was excellent! The summer rolls were very fresh and the peanut sauce was nicely done. The steak for the pho was already cooked, but very tender!

One of the best banh mi I have had. I got the pork and it was so good that we wanted to go back the following day and have it again. Highly recommend it.

Pho Noodle - pick your protein

This was my 2nd visit and am so excited to share this little gem of a place! Fresh-est of food and absolutely delicious. Had to go there twice to make sure it REALLY was that delicious consistently!! Their Pho noodle bowl comes with so much food I have to put it all in a vintage round pyrex bowl to make room for everything. And the chili paste that comes with the soup is super tasty. Spring rolls are light and crispy. My new "go to" for Friday night take-out :)

It looks run down. We came on the hot day, and this location is only outdoor seating. We did not even stop in.

I'm going to be honest, I had my doubts but after yesterday and today I'll never again. Everything…read moreI was told about this place was true and then some! I was on the fence given my bad experience with restaurants that try to get fancy with its sushi, but this definitely surpassed my expectations. The environment has a nice small-town exterior (fitting for a restaurant in Downtown Dunedin) with a vibrant, cool, cozy interior with minimal lighting that's easy on the eyes. The service is pretty good and they do check to make sure you're enjoying what you ordered, which is a nice touch. In terms of mocktails, on the first day I had the Ginger passion tea which had nice presentation and was just the thing needed to wash down the fantastic spice of, which I sadly forgot to take a picture of, but alas...Next time...The second day I had the "Cucumber Chiller" which, I'll admit, didn't tickle my fancy too much as I'm not one for zest, but it's still a solid #2 on my list! I tried their Spicy Tuna Roll on both days, and much to my pleasant shock...They mean it when they said spicy. Much of their sushi menu appears to be a fusion of Mexican spicing and Japanese uramaki sushi techniques, which I never expected to enjoy so much! I definitely wish to experiment with more of their rolls next time. I also decided to try the pork fried rice, and my goodness, whatever pig they cut up for that rice may not have been able to fly but I sure felt like I was on cloud nine! The rice was crispy, soft, crunchy, flavorful and subtle all at the same time and when it needed to be. Mind you, the lunch portion alone filled me up almost! Just imagine what the dinner would do! Actually, don't imagine that. Just know you'll be good for the rest of the day! Then for desert I decided to try a slice of their Green Tea Cheesecake...Now, interestingly enough, I almost thought it was pumpkin due to the strange flavor contrast between the green tea base and the caramel drizzled. Not what I was expecting but it was still really delicious and I would eat it again in a heartbeat. You don't gotta be a Scorpio like me to be drawn to Pisces Sushi & Global Bistro, that's for sure! I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Dunedin...I guarantee you'll be Du"needing" more of this after one bite!

This is, without a doubt, the best sushi restaurant I have ever been to. We sat on the front patio,…read morewhich has a great vibe and a afford lots of people watching. Our service was warm, friendly, responsive, and fun. Our party of four loved our selections. My favorite was the Mexicali blues roll. It was a perfect blend of savory and sweet... I think the suite came from bits of plantain chips. My husband had the volcano, which is a very substantial portion. It has crab meat and cooked salmon. It is worth noting that both these items are marked as spicy on the menu... I would not say they were spicy at all. Already looking forward to the next time we're in this area to go back and try more culinary delights!

As usual, I stumbled upon this place while doing errands, but once I walked up closer, I realized…read morethat I had been told about this place before. You could see cute neon signs through the windows so I can imagine a lot of photos taken here. Inside, there were two employees, and then was an electronic ordering station to the left of the counter. I love the upgrades in technology, but sometimes I feel it does a disservice. With Boba, there are a ton of different mixtures that could be made, and I actually did have a lot of questions about possible combinations, etc. When looking at their Magic Recommendations, I quickly found something I wanted, the Creme Brulee Ube with foam!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE, Ube! I paid automatically, and the employees started my order. I could overhear that one employee was being trained by their conversations, and while the one was putting everything together, the other offered me samples of a few different topping or boba options. I have never had some of them, so it was a great way to test out before ordering the next time. Once I got into my car, I took my first drink and was blown away! You could taste the Ube throughout, and occasionally, when you took a sip, you would get pieces of the creme brulee that had been toasted on top, and it was amazing!! It's definitely a unique taste/experience while drinking boba and one I want to try again, maybe a few times. I normally share with Ben when I order boba, but this time, it was gone long before I got home and not a sip left for him!
