Combo rice dish with bbq pork shrimp and egg roll

I feel nostalgic whenever I visit pho Vietnam as I've been coming here for.....I've lost count. Definitely more than 15 years. As an introvert I don't really greet or chat with staff but it's hard to not notice familiar faces through the years of visiting them. I've always appreciate their value of their meals as well as how fast their service is. The service is not personable but I rather have efficiency than wait a hour for friendly service. But I regret to say their quality and value has taken a hit. I don't mind the price going up but the combination of the increased price with smaller portion and then the declining quality was not the best experience. I'm really hoping that today is not their baseline and that the next time I visit would be what I expect from them.

Cute place with plenty of seating in booths. Great prices, what I come here for! Pho tastes good.

Beef combination pho with 3 small slices of raw steak

This is my 3rd time the have skimped my beef combination pho. today I only got 3 small slices of the raw steak I also didn't get my side of fresh basil leaves. Mind you I even payed for an extra large pho. Pretty disappointed because at the end of the day we still gotta pay full price.

The food here is incredibly flavorful and one of my favorite Vietnamese dining experiences. Even when I lived in Vegas, I didn't find a place that compared in flavor, especially at such a reasonable price point. That said, the environment could use improvement. The menus feel worn and outdated, and the shared chopsticks on the table didn't feel very sanitary, with some appearing not fully clean. Service was also a bit inattentive during our visit. With a cleaner presentation and more attentive service, this place would be outstanding.

Another food trip adventure in our new area we decided to check out a Pho restaurant and stumbled into Pho Vietnam. The place is very spacious and we were able to get seated within seconds. The pho dac viet combination pho was very traditional rich savory broth.

Pho Vietnam's C1 Chicken Pho is a staple for me - tender chicken, plentiful noodles, and rich broth. The flavors blend beautifully - so perfect for rainy days. Prices are very reasonable considering the generous serving size. I appreciate the efficient service, always receiving my order promptly. I must say staff has been pretty consistent through the years - often seeing the same staff there. Expect this place to be busy during lunch and dinner hours, especially on rainy days - this is the place to visit for yummy pho!

Popped in for a quick bite at lunch time. The restaurant is a bit outdated but the staff is great. It's also a much bigger space than it seems. Ordered egg rolls-super delicious- and the chicken pho. I really enjoyed the pho. Flavorful broth and shredded white meat chicken which I prefer. Best part, the prices are super reasonable and portions are large. This place is a gem!

One of the better ones in the area. We got food for takeout since I was dying at home and needed something brothy. My compatriot had been here a number of times and it is her go to. I got the vegetarian pho, partner the rare steak, and a chicken spring roll to share. The peanut sauce with the spring roll was nice, not too sweet. The chicken not too dry. The broth was good, nice temp and good flavor. Ingredients were pretty good. I liked the different types of veggies they threw into the vegetarian tho I'd probably want more cauliflower or broccoli but that's just personal preference. Good for here and at least matches in some key standards. We'll definitely be by again if in need of a fix.

I came here after an appointment kn a very cold Friday to have some hot delicious pho!! Taste just like how I remembered it, broth is tasty but I noticed there's less meat and there's more fat. The peanut sauce is too runny than normal, I know inflation is bad but the quality of food is not worth sacrificing for a few bucks. Service was fast but not very friendly. It was pretty quite because I came in before the rush for lunch which is nice because normally this place is pretty crowded and loud.

Ask the Community - Pho Vietnam

Are the egg rolls rice or pasta wraps?

They're rice paper and then deep fired. Asians don't typically use wheat-pasta to wrap egg rolls. Granted baos/dumplings are wheat based. I have. Gluten allergy and LOVE this places egg rolls! Hee.

We were greeted by the friendly owner (?) and he told us we could take a seat wherever we wanted. There were several people enjoying a late lunch on both sides of the restaurant. I noticed that most of the customers had ordered the pho. We decided to try: - Fresh spring rolls - delicious! Large shrimp, fresh ingredients. Tasty dip. - Garlic noodle plate - noodles were a nice thickness, bouncy and flavored well. Protein was the bbq pork as we were told that's a customer favorite. Veggies were hot and cooked perfectly. - Steak pho - broth was delightful, clean and fresh tasting, with thin slices of tender meat. Noodles were a nice consistency and not mushy. I loved it even more with the bean sprouts, jalapeno, basil and a touch of lime. Everything was timed perfectly, spring rolls came out first for us to enjoy. Server, who I think is the owner, checked on us and refilled my water without having to ask. He promptly cleans up tables after customers leave so the place always looks clean and neat. Overall, a lovely meal. We will be back soon! Located in the Larkfield Center between Cookie... Take a Bite and Exchange Bank. Lots of parking available.

I ordered roast pork, hoping it was a long cooked tender roast pork. Nope. It was a pork roast that had been sliced and was pretty darn tough with a sizable fat cap that was tough and rubbery and did not add to the richness. The only veg. In my sandwich was a lot of hot pickled daikon and a tiny extremely thin slice of cucumber and a tiny very dark green thing that maybe used to be cilantro. ALL of the veg in the sandwich was hot. I have never had hot veggies in a bahn mi. The bread was over toasted and killed the top of my mouth. I think they built the sandwich and THEN put it in either a microwave or oven so that everything, including the vegetables were very warm. There was no pate nor butter, just mayo and tough meat and a lot of warm daikon. No carrot whatsoever. No jalapeño.. And a VERY tiny bit of cooked slimy cilantro. I have never seen cooked cilantro in a sandwich before. The bread was also over toasted and cut the top of my mouth like crazy. IT was awful. I like bahn mi because I enjoy the contrast between the warm meat and the pickled fresh veggies, crunchy with the cool sweet pickle of the daikon and carrot, with some jalapeño heat and some fresh cilantro, with a rich pate on lightly toasted roll to add richness and dimension. This was not that. This was a truly terrible bahn mi. The staff seemed completely overwhelmed even though there were only two customers.
