Combo rice dish with bbq pork shrimp and egg roll

I feel nostalgic whenever I visit pho Vietnam as I've been coming here for.....I've lost count. Definitely more than 15 years. As an introvert I don't really greet or chat with staff but it's hard to not notice familiar faces through the years of visiting them. I've always appreciate their value of their meals as well as how fast their service is. The service is not personable but I rather have efficiency than wait a hour for friendly service. But I regret to say their quality and value has taken a hit. I don't mind the price going up but the combination of the increased price with smaller portion and then the declining quality was not the best experience. I'm really hoping that today is not their baseline and that the next time I visit would be what I expect from them.

Another food trip adventure in our new area we decided to check out a Pho restaurant and stumbled into Pho Vietnam. The place is very spacious and we were able to get seated within seconds. The pho dac viet combination pho was very traditional rich savory broth.

Pho Vietnam's C1 Chicken Pho is a staple for me - tender chicken, plentiful noodles, and rich broth. The flavors blend beautifully - so perfect for rainy days. Prices are very reasonable considering the generous serving size. I appreciate the efficient service, always receiving my order promptly. I must say staff has been pretty consistent through the years - often seeing the same staff there. Expect this place to be busy during lunch and dinner hours, especially on rainy days - this is the place to visit for yummy pho!

Popped in for a quick bite at lunch time. The restaurant is a bit outdated but the staff is great. It's also a much bigger space than it seems. Ordered egg rolls-super delicious- and the chicken pho. I really enjoyed the pho. Flavorful broth and shredded white meat chicken which I prefer. Best part, the prices are super reasonable and portions are large. This place is a gem!

One of the better ones in the area. We got food for takeout since I was dying at home and needed something brothy. My compatriot had been here a number of times and it is her go to. I got the vegetarian pho, partner the rare steak, and a chicken spring roll to share. The peanut sauce with the spring roll was nice, not too sweet. The chicken not too dry. The broth was good, nice temp and good flavor. Ingredients were pretty good. I liked the different types of veggies they threw into the vegetarian tho I'd probably want more cauliflower or broccoli but that's just personal preference. Good for here and at least matches in some key standards. We'll definitely be by again if in need of a fix.

I came here after an appointment kn a very cold Friday to have some hot delicious pho!! Taste just like how I remembered it, broth is tasty but I noticed there's less meat and there's more fat. The peanut sauce is too runny than normal, I know inflation is bad but the quality of food is not worth sacrificing for a few bucks. Service was fast but not very friendly. It was pretty quite because I came in before the rush for lunch which is nice because normally this place is pretty crowded and loud.

Table for one please! Was craving the comfort of an extra large bowl of Pho. When you enter, there are signs pointing you to where to stand: left side for dine in, right side for paying your bill and Togo orders. I was greeted from a a distance with "How many?" to which I reply with one finger in the air. I was waved over to sit at a seat for one next to the kitchen. I'm promptly given a menu, she returns with ice water and silverware. I take a few minutes to browse the menu. Now I want eggrolls, Spring Rolls and Bun. Totally not what I came for. Decided on the Bun Thit Nuong Cha Gio aka Vermicelli with grilled pork and eggrolls. Food was served in less than 10 minutes. Exactly the way I wanted it with plenty of veggies and generous portion of meat. My meal was good, service wasn't great but you don't come here for good service. Once the food was delivered, they don't come back and you have to go to the front to pay for your meal. I come here for 3 consistent items: Spring Rolls, Pho and Bun. I have never ventured off from those three. Maybe someday.

    Pho Ga Broth

I have been here a handful of times over the years. Used to get their seafood stir fry quite a bit and as always, their pho ga. The broth is tasty and HOT, the shredded chicken breast, onions and rice noodles are plentiful! Their pho is pretty darn good, service is not the best. Today when I called for take out they didnt have avocado smoothie (sold out yesterday!) nor chicken fried rice (the chef isn't in yet!). I was afraid to ask for anything else so just stuck with the usual chicken pho at least they have that. Like others say you dont come here for the ambience or the service. You come here for some decent Viet food!

Super cute place, bigger than I expected with many booths to sit in. Menu has lots of variety of pho and other meals/appetizers/drinks to choose from with reasonable prices. Service was pretty good, you order from your table and then pay at the front when you're done eating. Definitely a place I'd love to go back to!

Still the best pho and rice plates in town. Very decent prices, portions and always great service.

Big restaurant and pretty busy with a good mix of Asian and non Asian customers. I had the combo pho, chicken wings, and egg rolls. Pho broth was a little more rich than I prefer but flavorful and well made. Chicken wings were spicy on the menu. I asked for them to not be spicy as I was ordering for my kid. I also asked for them to come as an appetizer rather than with the meal. They came after the soup was served and they were spicy. The server had a pretty bad attitude and a deep scowl throughout. The staff was bickering and arguing with each other throughout my visit. She did offer to swap the chicken wings out for egg rolls and I accepted. The egg rolls were tasty but served without lettuce or the normal pickled veg which I found odd. They also don't do fortune cookies. The dining room is pretty dingy and not the cleanest. The bathroom was also pretty dirty and disorderly.

Brisket soup is fantastic. Tastes exactly the same after all these years. Be careful, it's addicting.

Ask the Community - Pho Vietnam

Are the egg rolls rice or pasta wraps?

They're rice paper and then deep fired. Asians don't typically use wheat-pasta to wrap egg rolls. Granted baos/dumplings are wheat based. I have. Gluten allergy and LOVE this places egg rolls! Hee.

I came in for an earlier ramen lunch and ended up wanting to get all their appetizers. There's a variety of apps but I wasn't too hungry so I ordered mini sesame balls for the table ( 3 for $1!!!) and octopus ball/sesame balls to go. At the end, I also got the homemade sauce just to try bc it was packed in a glass mason jar and relatively affordable. For food, I got tonkotsu ramen and the broth was good. I think it was missing the condiments and some umami flavoring. I'm not sure. It was 3.5 imo. The sesame balls were good and so was the octopus ball. The salmon looked plentiful and came with lots of sides but I'm not sure how it tasted bc I didn't order. All the dishes were cleared out though so I'd say it was a successful lunch trip. They have a long fish display in the front and plenty of seating too! Reminds me to go back to Japan soooon.
