Second time at this lovely restaurant. Our server gave us plenty of time to go through the menu and finally order. David got the Banh mi sandwich with chicken. I got the large shrimp pho with wontons and noodles, so that I could share with David. David enjoyed his sandwich but I didn't think it resembled the ones that Ihave seen on YouTube. My Pho was super delish loaded with large shrimp, wontons and rice noodles. I always enjoy adding all the bean sprouts and herbs, jalapeño and lime to the soup. The broth was just perfect, not too salty by very tasty. The large size was definitely enough for two and David enjoyed sharing with me. I haven't been here for a while and it is still just as I remembered. So if you want consistency in your food, this is a good place. Their pho soups have different sizes so you can get a smaller portion or a bigger portion. The prices here are very reasonable. The restaurant is very clean and the service is very good. read more

Delicious PHO GA I got a Medium. Had Lunch and enough for 2 bowls for lunch the next day by adding a little chicken stock at home. My FAV place! I love their "spicy beef noodle soup". I always default to PHO SAIGON whenever I don't know what to take out for dinner.

We came to town looking for some Vietnamese/asian food and found this place close by. I didn't expect the food to meet my expectations since it's no where in an Asian community but to my surprise the food was delicious and authentic Vietnamese food. The pho is flavorful and the vermicelli dishes were on point!! We've also ordered some on doordash from here and it's was the same delicious as always. I recommend this place if you're ever in the area or even if you have craving and is far away but see it in doordash. The service was also exceptional. Come give it a try!! Great spot in a plaza in the middle of PG. Goi Cuon are most excellent and highly recommended. Serving is quite generous and nicely prepared. Other menu items are also very tasty. Noodle dishes are very good! Service is efficient and pleasant. We tend to avoid onions, scallions and sprouts and the kitchen accommodates our needs without missing a beat. I have waited too long to write this review. Probably, because the first time I ordered here I came alone and placed a to-go order at the counter. I told them I'd be back in 30 minutes and I was and that's when they started to prepare our dinner. Guess I didn't look reputable enough to pay when I picked it up. Would that have been the same with an over the phone order to-go? I suppose I will never know. What I do know is since COVID 19 the protocol has changed a bit at the restaurant. Menu's are now posted on the wall so no need for daily disposable menus. While ordering our server stood a few feet away from our table but didn't wear a mask. I typically order some type of chicken Pho while hubby orders shrimp. Dishes are always fresh and delicious. I would really love to see some Tom Kha Gai on the menu like I had so many years ago in Vietnam but some of the ingredients (at least 5 of them) are inedible and not commonly found in a town like Punta Gorda. The establishment is small, clean and quirky. The ladies typically work the front while the gentlemen work the bar/register and kitchen. Give it a try. read more

I've ordered from Pho Saigon while working in the area three times. Quenched my craving for Pho that I've had for months now. The delivery was quick, food was still hot and tasty. I tried the avocado, banana and passion fruit bubble tea. All made amazingly. My favorite so far is avocado. They are all amazing though. The Pho Gà was flavorful and just what I remembered it being like in Vegas. The Cha Gio were cooked to perfection and crispy even after sitting for a bit. The Bún Tôm was delicious. I can't wait to work at the branch again so I can have my Pho Saigon fix ... or I might have to travel South on the weekend and sit down and enjoy the food right out of the kitchen! Being the Viet that I am I'm critical to bowl of pho. If you read any of my reviews my a big pho fan and it needs to have the right ratio ie of meat, of noodle and of broth. Here the broth is water down and not as full flavored. If you do a whiff test one can't smell the pho scent of anise , cardomon, cinnamon sticks etc and lots of beef bones simmering . The combo pho usually has tripe, steak slices , tendon, brisket, meat balls . This bowl does not have tripe, tendon and the meat ball quartered . Please half the meatball don't quarter it. The service here is excellent ! Next time in the areas I will try other entrees on menu. I'll skip the pho. read more

Really delicious, fresh, and healthy food. This is the best restaurant in Punta Gorda. The service was friendly and fast. I had the medium seafood bowl, I could only eat half of it, took the rest home. I highly recommend this place. We've tried it twice. We each had the Pho and both asked for NO cilantro. Both times we've had it we had to send it back only to be brought out the same bowl. The waitress was very rude and said that we should have said no cilantro. We disagreed and stated that we did... Cir eye roll from the waitress... I really enjoyed the spring rolls and the freshness. The pho was yummy. The safe was nice and the place was busy.

Have eaten here at least 5 times, though ironically this was my first time ever having their pho, previously I've had the egg rolls (which are absolutely amazing) with sweet chili sauce, fresh spring rolls (with a fantastic peanut sauce), banh mi (which in contrast to the everything else, i would not get again, too small and not enough filling), and 2 boba tea flavors: strawberry and mango (both are good). I ordered the pho with everything, an avocado boba with jelly, and my table got vegetable pho with tofu no. 22, and a Vietnamese iced coffee. My pho was steaming hot, and smelled so goood, after adding hoisin with some sriracha it tasted rich and delicious. The only issue is that I would prefer more meat/meatballs specifically in the soup, there were about 2 meatball halves, so next time I would ask for either extra meat, or no. 16, and the avocado boba didn't taste sweet at all, so I had to add a lot of sweetener, however I did enjoy the addition of jelly to it-that tasted good. Finally, I had some of the vegetable pho, and that was just as rich, The tofu obviously tastes nice in the delicious broth. As well as that, I also had a few sips of the Vietnamese iced coffee, and the depth of flavor in that is insane, it was sweet, smooth, and refreshing, one of the best coffees I've ever had. Not to mention, the entire restaurant has a very nice atmosphere, with an equally nice aroma. Overall, another enjoyable experience at Pho Saigon, Punta Gorda! read more
