We got steak pho and it was flavorless, the broth was so greasy it had a film on top and made your lips greasy while eating. The beef had an off flavor as well. Visited Panama City Beach this past weekend and this was the only Vietnamese place I could find. My niece wanted simple noodle and a good pho broth . I ordered the adult size flank pho 3/5... And I must agree with another reviewer that the portions are tiny. There was a few pieces of meat and everything fit in a small round to go container. I'm used to a normal size box for pho . The broth given was about 2/3 full when it normally should be closer to the top. My niece is 7 yrs old finished her bowl and was still hungry. The spring roll 1/5 was lacking meat and fresh herbs and I've never seen a more water down hoisin sauce. There was little peanut flavored to be found. as for the special combination, pork chop dish 2/5 The meat was overcooked and among other things, we could not finish that dish. The price to value just didn't add up so sadly will not be eating Vietnamese Food when back in town. Location is great right across from the beach . I think possibly the food can be improved upon if there were some competition in the area. read more

Absolutely horrible. Disgusting. They must have changed hands, because the menu has grown but not in a good way. We had 6 people, and not one liked their meal. Spring rolls had grisly pork, no fresh mint or cilantro, just lettuce and rice noodles. Tasteless, and had to throw out the meat. It's the worst version of Vietnamese cuisine you could ever find. Pho is passable at best. Order a small and you'll get no broth whatsoever. Flavorless, had to ask for the accompanying sprouts, lime, and fresh herbs. Was given slimy sprouts (really gross) and no herbs - where's the basil, and cilantro! It's just not up to par. Service was terrible as well. Didn't even get drinks (boba) until after entrees, and they were tiny and expensive. My husband ordered a seafood soup and it was gross. Unfortunately our visit to Pho77 was not great. Food was just OK. The shrimp spring rolls were delicious, but the pho and rice dishes were mediocre at best. Service was minimal, I was never asked if I wanted another beer and waters were never refilled. Ambiance was fun, the interior was neat. Home-y Vietnamese restaurant with a lot of great options. Cute interior, and large. Came in just before a rush and got attended to quickly. The grilled pork spring rolls were delicious, and I really enjoyed the sweetness of their peanut sauce. The chef special fried chicken rice (full chicken leg with rice pictured) was delicious, and the skin was expertly crisp. The pho was sadly mediocre, with a nice rich broth, but lacking flavorful meat/something that makes it stand out. This is also a personal preference, but they use wide rice noodles, while I prefer the thin noodles, so that took away from some enjoyment as well in my eyes. The food was mediocre at best. The place was filthy! One waitress to cover several tables. She was running like crazy but not able to keep up. The first thing we did was order a couple of beers that were on the menu and they said oh we don't have beer anymore. All they had to do was take the sheet out of the menu cover. Came in about an hour before closing time, which is 8:30PM. Staff seemed angry that we were there. Minimal interaction with our waiter, which is fine, our group is low maintenance and doesn't need much attention besides getting our orders in. When the bill came, we paid and tipped - then realized and were told after the fact that gratuity had already been added. We are always generous tippers, but 20% on top of an undisclosed base tip feels very underhanded. It should not have cost $58 for two bowls of pho (~$15 apiece) and crab rangoons ($5) after everything was said and done. I am super happy with this Pho place! My boyfriend and I had a long day at the beach and we wanted something other than seafood and fast food. We walked in and were greeted right away. We almost had the place to ourselves so we got to choose our seats. We took the seats closest to the window. At the time the sun was setting and it was right in our eyes. The man serving us offered to close the blinds. It was very considerate of him. We then got to ordering our food. I asked for grilled chicken spring rolls and chicken fried rice. The spring rolls were really good. I almost ordered just spring rolls because they were so good. I ordered 2 of these. One for my boyfriend and one for me. I had to make him try it. Definitely try those. The chicken fried rice was good too! It was a little dry, but otherwise still good. I ate every bite! My boyfriend isn't a huge fan of Pho so, he ordered the BBQ pork sandwich and he really enjoyed it. He also got honeydew milk tea and LOVED it. I had actually asked to take it back and was passive aggressively attempted to be persuaded by the waiter. I let her know that the broth itself had no flavor, it tasted like it was very watered down with tap water and she responded "well obviously other people like our soup here" and when I let her know that I have Vietnamese food very often and her response "well this is a restaurant, it's not supposed to taste like home cooking." The NEW owners are terrific. We went tonight expecting the same old tired menu but they had been busy in the last couple months and the new menu had arrived and it's extensive with a lot of Vietnamese specialties. It took us a while to make up our minds. Pablo settled on a fried squid dish I forget the name but it was like a salt and pepper with a bit of chilli. We would ask next time for a lot more chilli. We had the dim sum appy - 5 perfectly steamed pieces. I chose the Mi Quang - a flat noodle soup - I had it with Pork instead of chicken or shrimp. It was delicious and beautifully presented. The owners have taken a 3 star restaurant and elevated it. Nothing has changed decor wise, the ambiance still pretty much the same. Music is fine, travel videos of Vietnam would be nice on the TV's rather than the current offering of reality TV. There are items on the menu such as sweetcorn nuggets for the less adventurous. So great to get a surprise dinner tonight as our West End is a bit of a food desert. read more

This place is garbage. We eat pho all the time and are quite familiar with what is good. The first thing you notice when you walk into a good pho restaurant is the smell of the spices. This place did not have that smell even when the food was brought to our table. On top of the terrible food, the owner and staff were rude and unapologetic for our bad experience. I ordered the bo kho and it tasted terrible. The broth tasted like peanut butter (which is not how it is supposed to taste). It was runny instead of thick like it should be. And the smell was not anything bo kho should smell like. The pho was no better. Broth had no taste and the soup wasn't even hot or had a hint of steam. Noodles were still chewy and barely any sign of protein in the pho bowls. They barley brought out any vegetables to add to the soup (either a bad shortage or they know nothing about how pho should be eaten). On other web reviews, a former employee stated that they recycled unused vegetables that were cleaned off of tables already served and served the same used vegetables again to newly seated tables. Other customers complained of how they had food poisoning after eating here. The pho looked and tasted like it was out of a can and watered down. I asked one of the ladies if I could order something else because the bo kho was too terrible to eat. She started bitching at me when I told her I didn't want it nor did I wanted it added to our bill. She started saying derogatory things about me in Spanish and thought I would not notice or know what she was saying. When I spoke with the owner, he did not care one bit or wished to correct the behavior of his staff nor offer me anything in exchange for the dish I did not want to eat. He just kept telling me I still had to pay for it whether I ate it or not. I took one sip of the broth and refused to eat anymore of it. My wife started recording our conversation and the bitch that was cussing me out in Spanish slapped my wife's phone out of her hand. I have never been to a restaurant that refused to remove a food item from our bill due to poor quality and something I refused to eat. Honestly, I wouldn't give any of their food to my dog. This is by far the worst establishment I ever been to. Shitty food. Shitty employees. And an owner that has no business being in the service industry. If he is truly Vietnamese, he should know his food taste like crap (all of it). I'd rather eat a sandwich from a gas station than touch anything from this garbage dump of a restaurant. Keep driving if you want good pho. This place certainly does not have it, and the people working there are rude. The people at this establishment are rude, so I avoid going here. I decided to order it on door dash to avoid their rude employees. All I ordered was a bowl of pho and 2 orders of egg rolls, they forgot one of my orders of egg rolls, so I called door dash and they reordered my food and had it delivered. When I received my second order it had another bowl of pho and my other egg rolls but I feel like they got mad I had complained about the missing egg rolls because when I opened the second order the egg rolls looked weird and the soup had a hairy textured meat and bones. The receipt also said a type of pho I cannot find on door dash. I will attach the recipe with the weird named pho. I will never eat at this restaurant again. read more
