Super cute local Vietnamese place that we stopped at while staying in the area!!! Coworkers and I (5 of us) stopped in around 6:30ish pm on Friday. Not too busy, we were seated immediately and had our drink orders taken. They have signs that ask you to be patient because they're short staffed, but I wouldn't have guessed! Super friendly staff, cute decor, and beautiful platings of food. The spicy shrimp pho my coworker got was the "best he ever had" and said that it was such a deep spice, he thinks they used firmented chiles instead of super shallow hot sauce tasting spice. We all loved the broth, it was delicious, and they were generous with the toppings! We are already planning on dinner here for the next couple nights!! read more

Consider a way to accommodate to go orders in a way that will be acceptable for those who don't have bowls available to eat once taken to go. No significant consideration to adjustment of their business strategy is stated in the response. And the exact time of arrival was 7:36 PM. As for closing time, fairly noted and edits have now been made to say Google Maps to illustrate those hours. It appears hours were recently updated on Yelp. ********************** Being from Houston I'm always on the search for respectable pho away from home and this place started off doing so many things right when I started first frequenting here. It felt as though I'd found my go to spot, but over the course of time there are aspects that I believe can stand to improve if they listen to feedback. Food - 5* Ok, there's nothing to beef about here, the Pho is delicious. My colleagues and I love to order the combination Pho, spicy. It is just full of flavor and absolutely delicious, you can tell they care about what they serve. We've had other appetizers through our visits and none have been a disappointment! Service - 3* Here's where things really fall down. It's just so variable and inconsistent. Some visits they are attentive and take your order fairly quickly, on other visits you may be waiting a bit as they run food to other tables or check someone out at the register. They would greatly benefit to hiring a server for taking orders and running food versus attempting to do it all themselves. The food is generally a little slower to come out than other places, but it does not disappoint. The owners are nice, they are very welcoming and appreciative of your first visit or two, but over time you're just another face as if they are tired and need help. Most recently I arrived around 7:35 PM and was quickly met with, to go order? Responding, no dine-in and was advised it's to-go orders only 7:30 PM onward. It's their restaurant, their rules, but this was fairly off putting in a variety of ways. First, it was only a little past 7:30, it's not as though one walked in at 8:15 PM when they close at 8:30 PM. I'll say this again as I've said in other past reviews, I worked in the service industry, we all grinded our teeth when someone walked in 5 minutes before close and wanted to sit to order. Have some decency right? However, EQ and logic need to stand out in these moments. It's one person, not four or more and closing is 55 minutes away. Second, the more infuriating aspect, and my counterpoint to this behavior, is to realize as business owners that not everyone that visits your establishment lives locally. How are folks visiting town staying in a hotel supposed to eat pho out of a cylindrical take away container? How does one combine the separate ingredients? It's just not logical or reasonable. They are losing perfectly acceptable business with this mindset, mine included. This, mixed with the variability in service times just made me decide, while the food is delicious, they won't be getting my business anytime soon again. To others, this may not affect you, and for that, I'm happy they will get more business. They deserve it. Cost - 3* There's nothing overtly wrong with the pricing. This is always subjective, but I found their prices perfectly reasonable aside from certain aspects. As an example, want an iced tea, no problem? Want a refill, a dollar. Really? Tea is one of the cheapest things to make, again, I worked in the service industry, I know. Refill charging is very nickel dimey behavior and is not going to kill your margins. Also, for awareness if this is a concern of yours, there is a transaction fee addition for all non cash payments. Overall - 3.5* I expect you'll not be disappointed in the food, but the service may be something left to be desired. I feel like with some minor tweaks in their business strategy and pricing, this place can stand a long test of time in this town. I wish them the best of luck, but for me, no thanks. read more

I tried this place on a whim. I called in an order which was super easy and convenient. I got the regular beef pho and the fried spring rolls. Picking up was a good experience. The gentleman at the front was super nice and friendly. The place was clean and overall a good feel! I would for sure eat at the place. For both of those food items it was $23. I think that is good price for how fresh and delicious my food was! It was so flavorful and just like good ole traditional pho. I travel for work all over the world and to Greenville often. Pho Noodleville is one of my all time favorites. I try to eat here twice during a stay - that's how awesome it is! We are always welcomed when walking in the door and recognized even though it can be months in between visits.
