Very unassuming place but once we got inside at around 11:45 it was packed! That's always a good sign. The atmosphere is nothing to write home about: very minimalistic but still nice and not distracting. The wait staff was very busy. They seemed stressed and understaffed for how many customers were here, so it might have been just an off-day for them or it could have been the normal lunch rush, I'm not sure. Our waitress was not very friendly and felt like she hurried us to take our order. It took us a while for her to even take our order, but once we ordered, the food came out in decent time. My wife and I both got the rice salad bowl with pork and an egg roll. The flavors were incredible and worth the wait. The egg rolls are really dainty but some of the best we've ever had. The rice bowl was great, and filled us up with how much was packed in there: lettuce, bean sprouts, cucumber, rice noodles, pork, and a very nice sweet and slightly spicy sauce to drizzle over the top. One thing I will say is the tea is not worth ordering. I got green tea and they used one tea bag for a whole kettle's worth of water, so it was too weak for me--tasted like flavored water. So all in all, as long as you're not in a rush (and you're not needing green tea), I would recommend this spot! My family and I somehow always find a pho restaurant to eat at on our trips. We were delighted to find Pho Ly along our drive from Glacier NP to Idaho Falls. Like several of the other reviewers, we're from out of town, SF Bay Area specifically. The pho we ordered at Pho Ly (Special/dat biet, Rare Beef/tai, Meatball/bo vien, and Vegetable) filled a huge craving. The broth was sweet and flavorful, and each bowl was accompanied with its own plate of garnishes. This is huge, as my mom and brother always politely battle for the bean sprouts when we're required to share. The Italian basil used as a garnish for the dish was not the typical Thai basil, but was a respectable substitute. My parents didn't even notice, instead just commented on the size of the leaves. The server kindly reminded me that the broth used for the vegetable/vegetarian pho is beef-based, which was very thoughtful. And she brought out the quick pickled white onion with additional vinegar, just to ensure that our order was correct. Just a note that the soup came out with a generous amount of green onion, which I loved, but acknowledge others may not prefer. After spending a week hiking Glacier National Park, my family and I were sick and tired of sandwiches, hamburgers, pizza, hot dogs, anything bison related, and etc. and this place was a godsend. I highly recommend getting their #17 house special. The broth was clean and seasoned perfectly and the charsui pork was fall apart tender. The employees were friendly and efficient. Food comes out quickly as well and they're more than willing to give out extra wedges of lime for no additional cost. This place was so good, we actually came back the next day for breakfast. Pho in Montana you ask? Yes! Pho in Montana! I have lived up and down the West Coast and currently reside in the Pacific Northwest. I was traveling through Montana and needed to stop for some food. I pulled up my Yelp app and looked for nearby restaurants. Lo and behold, Pho Ly popped up and had great reviews. I was skeptical but figured I'll give it a try and I like to support local businesses. I ordered the Pho Dac Biet Special. Sure it wasn't the best Pho I've eaten but out in the middle of nowhere, it did hit the spot after a long drive. It is good enough to compete with local Pho restaurants in the Pacific Northwest. So if you happen to be in the area and you have a hankering for some Pho, I recommend Pho Ly! I know that if I ever make my way through Montana again, I will stop by Pho Ly Pho Sure! The pho broth was flavorful and the portions were generous. It's always a good sign when in addition to sliced sirloin, brisket and meatball, they have options for tendon and tripe. Legit. My criticism of the pho would be that they put way too many noodles which were a little over cooked to start and continue to absorb and alter the broth while you eat. I'd ask for half the noodle portion next time. All of us left about that much in the bowl at the end. The fresh spring rolls were good, nothing special but very large portions. After landing from California, in search of some good food. .. to my surprise, a pho restuarant in Montana, how crazy is that?! As a foodie, I have to try it out. Walked in the restuarant it was clean and spacious. Greeted by friendly waitstaff. The food was as authentic add it gets. The soup base was savory. You can actually taste the beef flavor in the both. The appetizers was amazing. My favorite so far is the #10 and the eggrolls. The eggrolls were crispy as it should be. The filing was just the right amount, not to much and not too little. It makes a complimentary dish to my pho. Lastly, the price was right. For the quality and quantity of the food I thought it would cost alot since it is the only one pho restaurant in Kalispell but it turns out that I spent less than anticipated. We were originally planning to come back to the same restaurant for the few days we were visiting Glacier National Park, but found out most of the restaurants were closed on Sunday. Therefore we came back on Monday, but only to find out that this restaurant is closed on Labor Day too. It's really miserable to know such fact after hiking 10+ miles. Fantastic pho. The best in Montana, hands down, and to be honest, the pho here can hold its own against pho joints in a lot of large metropolitan areas as well. The broth here is excellent. I think it tastes great, so I usually just add a little bit of sriracha for heat and I don't even bother with the hoisin sauce. The portions are huge, and well worth the price. Lots of noodles, generous amounts of your chosen meats, and plenty of tasty broth. What's not to love? I come here nearly every time that I visit Kalispell. I'm a very picky eater and Pho Ly definitely exceeded my expectations! I ordered beef pho broth with meat balls and my friend ordered veggie pho. Both broth were so good and the staff there were so nice! The only thing was that they didn't have a lot of condiments but other than that, everything was great! I would say that the Pho here is pretty good -- broth is tasty, meat and noodles (I get the Special aka Everything Pho so get to try everything) are spot on, basil leaves and bean sprouts were a bit wimpy (maybe time of season or availability around here), but still tasted great. Service was awesome, and my dad loved his Pho with round steak and tendon. My daughter loved her usual meatballs and they were quite generous with the meatballs, which made me happy because she almost always asks for more, but was actually satisfied this time around. Hey this is the only Pho place around Kalispell and Glacier NP. But, it's as good as any metro Pho restaurant. I was craving soup and my bowl of pho with beef and bits hit the spot. They were a little skimpy on the side of sprouts but I gather it's a local thing where the Gentry aren't into veggies. Also ordered spring roll as a starter and was spot on.
