A Vietnamese mom-n-pop, hole-in-the-wall kinda shop. It is small, personal and cozy. The dishes are tasty. Not necessarily the best Vietnamese I've had but it is one of the better ones in the Netherlands. Great service. And as far as the food goes, you will have to try it for yourself. I have always loved Vietnamese food but somehow most Vietnamese food in the Netherlands don't taste so authentic, they're either "Dutchified" or has a strong Chinese influence. But it is not the case for Pho Hanoi. It is centrally located next to the Markthal. Quite convenient! read more

The Banh Mi is very delicious but too small. I also ordered the "big portion Pho Bo" which was tasty but not a big portion at all. There are very less noodles. So I wonder what a small portion is. If the portions are bigger I would come here more often. read more

This really is a mom and pop kinda restaurant. The owner is a sweet little lady that's always there to make sure you have everything you need. The Pho and Vermicelli are a decent size with a tasty broth. This is our go-to place for Pho in Rotterdam, right by to Markthal too! read more

We chose this restaurant because we read good reviews on Yelp, saying this was the place to go to get good and legit chicken pho. I know legit pho when I taste it, and this was just wretched. The broth was simply bland, and trying to mask the blandness was a hopeless task, given that they have NO SOY SAUCE in the whole restaurant. Also, they had no jalapeño peppers. Pho without jalapeño peppers is cruel. The chicken was fatty and they put black pepper on the chicken which is a cop-out. Aside from the vastly underwhelming food, the waitress was wearing tights not leggings. When she bent over, we saw too much, to put things mildly. read more

this is your typical small Vietnamese family owned diner . simple menu of rice , noodles, and some side dishes. the lady boss was very friendly and helpful, offering me xtra chillis because she knew I liked my noodles spicy, and even went further to ask if I wanted xtra coriander or garnishes. the only setback was I felt that there was a little bit of msg in the soup but still a very very satisfying bowl of noodles. for €8.25 you get a large bowl of Vietnamese beef pho ! read more

Feb 2016: The interior looks a bit plain and it's always a bit chilly, but the Pho Bo Dac Biet here is excellent, with hand made beef balls. Update Sep 2016: For several weeks in a row, this place is getting quite busy. The service is pretty slow, NO, very slow (waiting about 30 min) for a pho. This place has wonderful pho! The decor is not exciting, but it is comfortable for a quick, delicious meal. We ordered the pho and the chicken curry. The chicken curry was made with chicken thigh which I find to be tough and have a lot of gross prices so I wasn't a huge fan of that, but the pho bo (beef) was really good (and I've eaten a lot of pho)! I will definitely be returning for their scrumptious pho, but I'll probably skip the curry next time around. read more
