Very good. Boba Tea and the Pho for me. I had the meatball pho. Substantial serving and pretty darn good. Broth was wonderful and so were the items that came with the dish. The meatballs were just ok but overall a great serving at a good price. IT was a last minute stop for us and super convenient. The place is super small but thankfully was pretty slow when we got there. For a quick taste of Pho I recommend it. My wife had a bowl that was fruity. It was good and she loved it!. Went in for a late lunch at about 2:30 in the afternoon on a Monday. The friendly lady at the front quickly took our order. I think it's a husband and wife team that owns and operates the place. They work hard to create an inviting, relaxed atmosphere. We ordered the Combination Pho, Vermicelli noodle with Grilled pork, and BBQ beef Banh mi. The Bahn mi sandwich was less than $4!! Everything together (basically 3 dishes) came to about $18.50. All the tables were full so we ordered to go. We waited outside for about 10 minutes and I poked my head in to see if it was ready. One of the workers saw me and said: "just a couple more minutes! :)". The food was ready shortly and we headed home to eat. Everything was good, but the Vermicelli noodles and pork were especially delicious. Fresh and lite but very filling. I was so happy with the whole experience. If I could change 1 tiny thing it would be to put some seating outside to wait. The place just opened so I'm sure it's in the works. I can't wait to go back! read more

I went for take out on the way into town from a long road trip and was pleasantly surprised! By far the best Asian food in town that isn't crazy expensive and for a special occasion. I got the Bun with the spring roll and we got a pork belly bahn mi. The Bun was very flavorful, I could have gone with a tiny bit more spicy but still lovely. My husband got the bahn mi and really enjoyed it. All were great and we will absolutely go back. Everyone was happy with their food and glad to finally try a place with these menu options here in Wilmington that was totally worth it. The prices are also amazing. read more

I asked for extra bean sprouts but they said they were going to charge me extra, which is a first for me coming to a Vietnamese restaurant. The bahn mi sandwich was not very good. Wow! Finally an Asian restaurant that hasn't been 'Americanized.' Enjoyed an order of the fresh spring rolls and the spicy beef noodle soup. The soup was actually spicy (notice the chili oil residue!) and could easily feed two. I would give this a 4 or 5 star if it was my first time going here and eating their food. This is a small little place for Vietnamese food. So my reviews for foodwise: Pho - good amount of noodles, the bowls could be a little bigger. Broth is awesome!! Grilled pork vermicelli- the last time that I had it, the pork was a little dry and a little over salted. Bubble Tea- the cups could've been bigger Banh Mi sandwiches- WAS awesome when first open. I know they make their own bread but after awhile the bread was over salted and hard....The meats were too dry, there was not enough spreads on the bread. Their homemade pickled daikon/carrots was a little too sour on the vinegar side. It could've been a little sweeter. This was pretty much all that I've tried here. I would recommend this place for only pho.... I would come back here for just.... Pho as well. =) Happy Eating! read more

For Wilmington, NC pho here is great! Their fried egg rolls are also good but their goi cuon seems like it has changed from when they first open didn't taste as fresh and whoever is rolling them now just not very presentable. Beggars can't be choosers this is as good as it gets for Wilmington if you want better then drive a few hours to Raleigh or Charlotte. I suggest ordering take out unless you don't mind the small area. read more

So yummy!! I ordered the veggie spring rolls and pho vegan. I ate every bite of the pho and spring rolls. I'm so glad I wore elastic band pants!! This is perfect on a cold day like today. I've lived in Wilmington for five years and I've tried every Vietnamese/ Asian restaurant they have to offer even going outside of Wilmington and this is the best place I've ever had. I don't like to leave negative reviews. I have been going here with my family consistently for the last 6 months. We had enjoyed coming here and never had a problem before today. My husband made the mistake when they called the number and he thought the food was ours. We realized the rolls were wrong and that our daughter's sandwich was wrong also. We notified the cashier, and said we were sorry and that we made a mistake. This is where it went down hill. The owner I am assuming starts to yell at the employees. The employees looked scared. The owner was staring at me and yelling that we should have been paying attention and that he wasn't going to remake any sandwiches. The atmosphere was toxic! I totally understand that we had made a mistake! The way he was acting and yelling was uncalled for and abusive! I told him not to yell and he began yelling at me, a paying customer! I told him it was an honest mistake and that we will never come back. He said that he didn't want us to come back! We wanted a refunded but he said he didn't do that. I have never in my life been yelled at by an owner of a restaurant while eating! The employees looked scared to death. This man is abusive! They took the spring rolls off our table and gave them to someone else. This is after my daughter was touching them! This was by far the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. This was awkward and downright terrible. The customer service here is abhorrent. The owner has no kindness or decency toward his customers. I am not sure if it is a cultural thing or not. I've had a lot of Pho in my life time, some really good and some terrible. This place I wouldn't say terrible, but it was definitely below par. It was pretty much Vietnamese food made for white people. Over price for less the taste. The only good thing I can say about the pho is that they give you a good amount of meats if you order the special. The broth bland, noodles slightly undercook, however it's quick and hearty. If I'm in Wilmington and I need a pho fix to help my hangover, I'll just make it myself next time. read more

Favorite Pho place in the Cape Fear region! Generous portions for amazing prices. I will gladly wait for a seat in this small "hole-in-the-wall" establishment as it has always been worth it.
