Pork banh mi
Meredith R.

I like this family. I walked out full and content. But .... I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that I believe their recipes are "dumbed down" for local clientele. I base my comments on Vietnamese meals I've had in Atlanta and NYC. *** Spring rolls are a one-time deal for me. Where's the rice vermicelli, mint, and cilantro? Maybe some shredded carrot? While the peanut dipping sauce was fine, our rolls were just stuffed with lettuce, topped with shrimp. Booooring. *** The pork banh mi was unlike any I've had. It was filled with meat -- a very saucy meat -- and the roll was crisp. BUT ... no pickled daikon, carrots, cucumber. Just cilantro, which I need to spread over the pork. Good. Tasty. But if I was blindfolded, I'd never know I was eating banh mi. *** Pho. Great! Aromatic! T's came with a generous amount of brisket and flank steak. I ordered shrimp pho. Hmmm.... next time I'll go with vegetable, as I don't think the shrimp -- a bit overcooked -- added anything to the soup. BTW, I'm glad I asked that they go a bit light on the noodles. Somewhat short of four stars. Definitely more than three. Will I come back? Yup. I'd like to explore the menu.

Omgsh this place is so cuttttee! They have fun neon signs and traditional decor inside. The family that owns and runs the business is so friendly and accommodating. I came with my boss and coworkers and she ordered us the flank steak pho. The broth was rich in flavor and really yummy. The noodles were cooked perfectly and not mushy at all . The flank steak was my favorite part! I could not get enough of it, I had leftovers so I had to stop eating to save some for the next time!

Far with Oxtail Pho
Winston S.

This is hands-down, the best Vietnamese restaurant. The far is to die for especially the oxtail.

The minute we walked into this restaurant on a Thursday afternoon, and this was our first venturing to this location. We were greeted promptly and seated with ease. Beautiful music playing, very nice atmosphere and clean. Comfortable seats. Menu items were a variety to tease your palate. Flavors of the Vietnamese cuisine did not disappoint. Make sure you put Pho 99 on your list for one of Fort Myers best Vietnamese restaurants.

Amazing bahn mi sandwich

Amazing bahn mi sandwich. I got mine with pork. I comes covered in sweet sauce. You get onions and some other veggies like a normal bahn mi. The bread was warm and crisp on the outside while soft inside. I could eat three of these!

pho with brisket and fresh lime drink
Sandra K.

The best pho in Naples/Fort Myers area! I'm 45 mins away and always make the drive out. Very friendly family owned restaurant -- I get the pho with brisket and the fresh lime drink!

Fresh lettuce me juice. Finally one that tasted fresh

Was very tired flying all night then working all day. This gem had it all. Good soup base . Service with a smile. Fast efficient. Never had salmon in pho but it was delicious. Used to have school lunch in Malaysia. Everyday it was soup or curry noodles with bean sprouts and fish balls . So this was my comfort food

Shrimp pho

Good food and service . Broth was on point . Highly recommend . Will be coming back .

On the coldest day of 2022, everyone else had the same idea as us...pho!! We arrived a little after 5pm to a packed restaurant and an exhausted staff who was doing a great job of keeping up with the madness. As we sat down we overheard the server tell the table next to us that they were almost out of pho. I was so glad that we arrived when we did, because everyone after us was turned away. (The server later told us that it takes them at least 24 hours to make a batch of their broth.) We started with the shrimp egg roll appetizers, which were out of this world. I was afraid the shrimp would be over cooked, but it wasn't. My only complaint was that there were only 3. I could have eaten 3 by myself, but alas, decided to be gracious and let my shrimp-living husband have 2. I had the eye of round pho and my husband had the shrimp (big surprise!) pho. We both ate every bit of the huge bowls. The broth is amazing, and if you've never tried pho, you'll be surprised with the fragrance of cinnamon and clove wafting from the bowl. My beef was served rare and was delicious. (It "cooks" in the broth) My husband had 6 shrimp in his bowl and was wishing for more. Accompanying the bowl was a plate with Thai basil, sliced jalapeños, and lime wedges. The only thing I was missing was bean sprouts, which I've had with pho at most restaurants. We left with warm, full, happy bellies and decided that we will be back again very soon.

3 things about this place: 1. There is a same exact spot where I'm living in Hartford, CT. What a small world. The menu looked exactly the same and had to give it a try. The place was clean and and friendly staff. 2. Egg rolls were cooked perfectly and went well with both sweet chili sauce and peanut sauce which I have asked for. #17 had Eye Round Steak and #20 had Eye Round Steak + Brisket and they were both so tender that the meats melt in your mouth, just like how I remember CT being as well. 3. I believe the server's name was Thomas and he was phenomenal. Even when the place was busy, he came to the table and checked to see how everything was. My sister and I have been here a couple of times and he has been amazing every time. Overall, this is the best pho place in southwest FL and I would highly highly recommend this place to people who is craving pho. Nothing but positive experiences even from previous times.

Grilled Pork and Rice
Truong V.

Authentic Vietnamese dishes served by a very sweet family. The beef pho broth was perfectly balanced. The grilled pork and rice dish was just like in Vietnam, but a much larger portion.

Chicken Pho- there's a lot of chicken and rice noodles under those sprouts

My daughter and her friends love this place- the restaurant is cute and the people who run it are so friendly and attentive! The food there is consistently good and the portions are generous! We asked her to bring home take out for us, and we asked her to choose for us. We were not disappointed! We started with an order of the fried beef egg rolls. They were crispy and not at all greasy, even after a 25 minute drive from the restaurant to our home. The pork and rice dish was delicious- the pork was nicely seasoned and the eggs and vegetables were fresh and crisp. The chicken pho was outstanding- included was a bag of bean sprouts, herbs, vegetables and sauce packets so I could tailor it to my taste. I had enough left over for two people for lunch the next day, and it reheated well. In fact, since everything sat in the soup overnight, the flavors were intense! We were very pleased with our take-out experience and look forward to dining there in person soon!

The flowers and stunning décor surrounding the seating areas are absolutely breathtaking and truly set the atmosphere. On top of the beautiful setting, the food was outstanding. The pork and shrimp spring rolls were some of the best I've ever had. The pork was actually crispy and seasoned to perfection, which made them stand out. The pho was also fantastic. I brought my dad with me, and he's normally not a soup person at all, but even he was won over by it. This place would be great for large parties as they have tables to combine. The shrimp/beef is room temperature with cool veggies. Tasty but only 3.5 star. The R-13 was served hot and won the taste-off. Shrimp, chicken, egg fried rice with veggies was 5 star. We attacked it before taking our pic. Yep- Yummy. When undecided we enjoy Vietnamese tastings as it is fresh without regret. Another PLUS- nice and our LP outdoor seating under a tree and cover. Today is my day at Saigon Baguette located in Palm Pointe Shoppes just south of Page Field on South Cleveland Avenue. Wow, I remembered this location as a former Brazilian Grill many years ago! It is totally renovated with open space and decorated wall mural. Loved that paint of palm leaves on the wall. At one of front corners, they have a sofa and chairs. I assume it is for customers waiting for take-out orders! Is this another Banh Mi shop with Boba drinks? One look at the menu and you can tell it is above the normal Banh Mi or Baguette sandwiches. It listed Vermicelli salad Bowl, Banh Mi Chao, Pateso Cake and crab Rangoon and a Shaking Beef rice plate and other items! I ordered a Banh Mi Chao and a Taro Milk Tea for lunch as my taste test! What is Banh Mi Chao? Banh Mi Chao a rather popular, savory Vietnamese brunch or comfort food dish that tastes like a sizzling, elevated breakfast skillet. It consists of a hot pan filled with combinations of pâté, sunny-side-up eggs, sausages, meat balls, meats (like filet mignon, beef belly, or pork), and combined with tomato or soy-based sauce, served with a crispy baguette for dipping. That is a mouthful! This Banh Mi Chao is rich, creamy, and savory. When I dipped the baguette into that sauce, meat, and egg mixture, and biting into the baguette, I was in heaven! You normally ordered this at specialty Vietnamese cafes and brunch spots, offering a more customizable experience than a pre-made Banh Mi sandwich! The Taro Milk Tea suited me fine. I asked them to adjust to sweetness to my liking! Wonderful lunch. The owners are super friendly and answered many of my questions with wonderful recommendations. Will I or We go back? You bet! Shaking Beef with Pateso is implanted in my brain now.

There's signs everywhere through out the outlet with their advertisement. Great job! Coming from up North, banh mi is a staple up here. While visiting my family, my mom told me they just opened a new Banh mi place at the outlet. I immediately knew what I wanted for lunch after shopping. It had a great atmosphere and vibe to it. I liked that a lot. Food - the beef and egg banh mi was good. I paid extra for pate and butter but didn't really think it was enough... I compared it to my sister's banh mi and it was the same amount and she didn't pay for extra. The bread was toasty and crispy. The beef is very tender. Meat/veggie ratio to bread was the perfect amount. The addition of the egg made the banh mi so good. My only complaint was the extra pate and butter. I expect it to be dripping out the bread if I'm paying $2 for extra... lol Spring rolls were good also. Plump and stuffed. Peanut sauce was good. I did also tried their Vietnamese coffee but wasn't a fan. It was too sweet for me and texture was like a smoothie. I'm sure that's just my preference because others might like it. Overall, great addition. I would definitely come back if I'm there for a quick bite.
