Extremely overcooked chicken wings were so

Ordered the fresh spring rolls and the chicken wings for appetizers. The spring rolls were a little tough on the outside but not an issue. The $9 for 5 wings were extremely overcooked (the bones were crumbling) and mostly inedible. We also did not receive appetizers plates. For our main meal we had the pho with rare beef. Three stars for the broth. I was surprised they did not have basil and the typical greens served with pho. The other main dish was supposed to be beef fried rice. Asked the server when ordering if it was fried rice or stir fry with vegetables. He assured us it was fried rice. Another server brought it out and we told her it was supposed to be fried rice. She took it back and replaced the white rice with rice and some vegetables mixed in. Ok obviously there was some confusion as to what fried rice is. The reason for two stars is when checking out I explained that we would have ordered something else if the server told us it was in fact stir fry and not fried rice. I also pointed out that the chicken wings were so overcooked we couldn't eat them. The response was "I know" no apology, no explanation nothing. You knew you were serving overcooked food and that it was stir fry when we specifically said we did not want stir fry? Horrible service to say the least.

There's plenty of parking space here along with a convenient drive through. I was really excited walking towards the entrance as I could smell the sweet aroma of pho. Walking in, the staff is very welcoming and friendly along with the restaurant being very clean as someone is always sweeping/picking up after customers. Their prices are fair for the portion. The food itself is okay, nothing special. Their coffee is on the same spectrum, it isn't rich like typical Vietnamese coffee. They had a communication issue with BOH where staff sent incorrect food to tables 3 times but the girls were very apologetic about it, mistakes happen! Oh and also there was eggshell in our food. While spending some time in Jacksonville during a work trip, I went to Pho 7 numerous times by myself or with friends. I love the food here! I ordered P20 pho every time. They have the best food and the best staff across Jacksonville. Highly recommend!

My expectation for Asian food in Jacksonville is pretty tame, and I decided to give this place a shot after I was craving pho after a brisk autumn afternoon. Pho 7 is on Yopp Road near Walmart and a shopping complex. They have a parking lot outside and plenty of seating inside. Their pho comes in three sizes ranging starting at $10. I ordered a medium P16, which has eye round, brisket, and flank, and I was stuffed. The broth has a lot more mint and was saltier than I prefer. I think they also could have been more generous with the protein in the bowl. My friend ordered tripe and there was barely any in it. The highlight of this place is probably their prices. You can get a Banh Mi for $6. TLDR: The broth isn't my favorite, but it's a bang for your buck.

Only complaint I have is that I am becoming broke ! I come here 4-5 times a week .. I love this place always so good and fresh! They are always cooking it up fresh in the back ! Cook to order seems like ! Spring rolls top tier ! Fried rice top tier , PHO 5+ stars . This has become my second home not gonna lie . Stopped in at Pho 7 and left genuinely impressed. The service was friendly, prompt, and welcoming from the moment I walked in. I ordered the beef and meatball pho, and it was outstanding--rich, tasty broth and plenty of meat. They offer a great selection of condiments, so you can build the bowl exactly the way you like it. Also tried the banh mi. It wasn't the traditional style I've had elsewhere, but it was still really good, fresh, and satisfying. Everything we get from here is a 10/10. I could not recommend a restaurant higher. Also with it being cold season, it is very nice to have a big bowl of Pho whenever we want. Vietnamese soup for everyone's soul. Gotta love it. read more

Not worth the price at all!!!! My husband ordered the steak and rice and got four pieces of cube steak. When I "complained" that there were only four pieces for a $15 plate they charged us an extra $5 for a couple more pieces. When they should've given the correct amount the first time we shouldn't have had to pay for something we should've gotten in the first place. When the child came to tell us I'd be an extra $5 we said no thank you. And was told the chef was already cooking it. If we say no thank you that's what it means. Paid for a combination pho and there was barely any protein in the bowl. 0/10 We definitely won't be back. read more

I cannot say enough good things about Pho 7 this is literally one of my favorite restaurants and I am here about once a week since they have opened. Surprisingly though I've only order the pho a couple of times. My usual order is fresh spring rolls (A1) and either bbq banh mi, combination banh mi, shrimp vermicelli bowl, or bbq pork rice place. If you are ordering banh mi it does have fresh jalapeño so if you don't want a kick of spice FYI. They also have boba. Uhhhhh. My husband and I used to LOVE this place. I mean love it. We would eat here often. We took a break, came back and now it's awful. And just to let you know they've went up on all the prices so the menu prices are wrong. My order was wrong and they told me to come back tomorrow LOL with an infant! Nope! Do you see the receipt says 430 pm and they told me come back tomorrow for my food? So my husband is working a 14 hour day, I decided to order from our favorite pho place. Pho 7 on yopp. I call it in. I specifically ordered 2 orders of the fried shrimp rolls, chicken wings and shrimp and chicken stir fry noodles. I get there the girl is confused she asks me "did you order something with broth?" I said no because I didn't. I get home. There's only 1 order of shrimp rolls, chicken wings and only shrimp in some thin noodles. For over 30 dollars. Think that was my sign to stop ordering food and just cook. read more

Vietnamese cuisine that is very fresh and overall just delicious! We've been here many times and it's always great; never had anything we didn't like. It's so good, we ended up ordering my 4yo his own pho because he kept eating mine! There is a drive thru where you can pick up your food. The inside of the restaurant is bright, open and clean. Pho 7 is a very nice spot for getting your tasty Vietnamese noodles. Very clean restaurant. Great service. You will be greeted by young energetic personnel and the food always taste great. The place is quite even tho they are always busy. Fair to say that you won't find much comparable or even competition for these guys in Jacksonville. If you'd like to try my favorite, do a Banh Mi Beef Sandwich (no jalapeño) and a small order of Phó Tái (Eye Round Beef rice noodle soup). If you have a small stomach just pick one or the other. Pretty good place for a quick meal. Staff are friendly and the place is clean and bright. Pho bowls look huge. We had the fresh spring rolls and eggrolls...both delicious. We also split the combination vermicelli bowl and the grilled beef Bahn mi. Both were fresh, though all of the protiens lacked a bit of marinated flavor and also needed to actually be grilled. 5 stars for service...though needed more of a punch with their grilled meats and shrimp. read more

You must go to pho 7. It's great prices and delicious food. My friend and I went on a Friday night and it was packed, we had to order the pho since that's the name of the restaurant. I appreciated how you could get it small medium or large sized. The service was fast and the pho was delicious. There are sauces on the side, such as chili pepper or hoisin sauce to complement your noodle soup. I didn't get a chance to try the Boba but I definitely will next time read more

Some of the best phó i've ever had! We got the fried egg rolls, thai tea with boba, and beef phó. The drink was delicious and the boba was perfect. As for the phó, it was only $12 for a medium and it completely filled me up. Broth was amazing and the beef and noodles were so yummy. Overall, it couldn't have been any better, I definitely will be coming back many many times. read more

I love this place but today was exceptional. I was just having the worst mental day, one thing after another, and the smallest gesture of just listening to me and offering extra toppings if I wanted and having a genuine human connection really did have an impact on making my day better. Not only was the food amazing after coming home from a long day, I did not forget the personal, big gesture of kindness. For Jacksonville, this is not a bad option at all! I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious my pho dac biet was. The broth was a bit lacking, but the bowl was packed with meat and deliciousness. The drink I ordered was a lychee rose tea. It was decent at first, but a quarter way through, I realized it was way too sweet for me. Pho 7 is a decent Vietnamese option in this area! read more

Truthfully we've been stationed to Camp Lejeune twice and this is my go to pho place the food is amazing. Fresh, delicious, authentic, EVERYTHING! The staff are super nice. Also the milk teas and refreshers are on point you can also add boba . They play nice music inside and it's typically pretty quiet inside cause everyone is just munching down. My kids are obsessed with their food . 10/10 recommend. read more

Literally the best Vietnamese spot here in Jacksonville. They tend to mess up orders on larger parties (6+) but are usually very good with smaller groups (1-4) I enjoy the A2 and P12 and can't go wrong with a Peach Mango Refresher with Passion Fruit Poppers. 5/5 very good! read more

It was the first of three Filipino restaurants we visited on my wife's/my Carolina week long visit, and was the best out of all of them, even though by far it was the least expensive. Driving from Durham NC to Myrtle Beach, my wife and I took a longer route so we could eat at this 'Point-Point' steam table restaurant deep in the South. Steam table means everything is pre-cooked and sitting at a buffet station. The food can suffer in the same way that a buffet can: the food gets old fast and it definitely tastes different if you can get a fresh(er) batch vs one that has been sitting out for a while. We got there about 45 minutes before opening (opens at noon on a Sunday). It's in an isolated strip mall (seemingly in the middle of nowhere), with plenty of parking. As we waited in the car, we saw many prospective customers trying to get in. The doors opened promptly at 12 pm, and we were the 3rd party in line. The order taking process is intentionally slowed to allow the serving of the food to take place not long after it has been ordered and (pre)paid. This did mean that the line went out the door for our entire dine-in visit, and we got to see the make up of the regulars. Everyone was patient: it was very clear that it was mostly locals, coming not because they wanted Filipino food, but because they wanted good tasting food at a good price. It's a small dining area, but the vast majority of people were doing carry-out so there was always some seating available. They use Clover as the POS, and identify themselves as 'Filipino Cuisine'. We got the 3 choice combo plate ($16.99), served with white rice along with a can of coke ($1.99...no soda machine here) and a side of Ukoy ($2.50). There is a 4% surcharge for credit card use. Each choice was the size of a small a la carte portion, and one would have been enough for the two of us for lunch. The food was delivered to your table, and they will bus (or one can self-bus since a garbage can is available and everything is served in disposable containers). Ukoy - shrimp and vegetable fritter - really big piece and made that morning, so was still crispy. I really like vegetable fritters and this version was OK, a bit dry but that's what the accompanying vinegar dipping sauce was for. Pork Adobo - very tender meat, not too much fat, with added onions (what you would expect in a biftek). The amount of saltiness went perfectly with the white rice. Biftek - this had the sabaw of biftek, but the cut was cubed, meaning closer to caldereta. The beef cuts were just excellent (little gristle), very tender. This amount of beef would easily be $20 in a 'nice' Filipino restaurant. Pork Sinigang - really good, just the way I like it. Wasn't overly sour, with plenty of vegetables and generous amount of pork. The broth had definitely been skimmed of grease, resulting in a dish that was more homemade (where time is taken to do the skimming) than other turo-turo places I've been. Looking over the menu can tell you about the competition in the area, and it looks like Vietnamese Pho is pretty rare in Jacksonville. Turo Turo has Pho on their menu, and even modified their name to highlight it. I've found that many Filipinos like their dishes with all the extracted fat remaining, which makes much of their soup inedible for me (in that context, it's grease, not flavor-enhancing fat). But as noted, their sinigang was good, with most of the pork fat skimmed off the broth...so thinking their Pho is probably pretty good too. We've eaten at many, many Turo-Turo places (so many around where we live), and this place has to be near the top in terms of value and taste. Funny that it's in a place that we wouldn't expect, serving locals that one would expect in the area. Both of us really liked this restaurant, and the plentiful leftovers became our dinner that night with no regrets.

my husband found Pho 7 through his business partner and now we go as a family nearly once a week. They are so sweet and kind and they always take an extra few minutes to ask if we want extra dishes, things cut up, etc for our 6 year old to try. She looks forward to going up to the register to pay and they are always so sweet with her. Highly recommend. read more
