We went on a Saturday night around 8pm, it was pretty slow. A few people at the bar and a few outside tables. We sat at the bar, which was still not wiped down from the previous customers. The music was like something out of a club, a little off putting. The bartender said she would be right with us. No problem, we don't mind waiting, however she didn't offer us menus. Didn't clean the bar of the crumbs/spilled beer. She stood at the computer printing multiple checks with her back towards us. Could've easily engaged with us, at least offered menus. 5 minutes past, another gentlemen came to the bar and again the bartender said she'd be right with him, still yet to get to us. We waited another 5 minutes when we noticed her relaxed and just chatting with another table outside. We decided to leave and had a wonderful time with great service at the restaurant next door, yard of ale. Wanted to give this place a try but unfortunately we won't be back again! read more

Seemed pretty dead when I was in there on a Tuesday, but I might have just been early compared to their regular crowd. They had bar trivia that was supposed to start at 9:00, but I didn't stick around to see how it was. Got a cheese steak with provolone and the seasoned fries. My family has been getting pizza here at least once per month it was priced at 17.45 for a large specialty pizza so each time it was $35 plus tip, last week my husband ordered our usual and got there to pickup they charged him $58 he paid and never asked about it so I ended up calling and just asked for current prices and I was told $19.95 per large specialty pizza which would have been a reasonable price hike but now I'm wondering wth happened that he was charged almost $20 extra. Went to this bar with my brother for his 21st and turned into a nightmare . The staff is extremely unprofessional. Put hands on my brother and bruised him up for fun . Totally unnecessary. I was at this establishment on 7/10/20 at 6pm. I sat at the bar and ordered a shot of top shelf Bombay Sapphire extra dry gin, with a sugar rimmed glass and a slice of lime. The female bartender literally placed the lime on a dirty ass coaster!! It shocked the hell outta me when she placed the lime on a dirty coaster and proceeded to make the drink. I asked her why did she put the lime on a dirty coaster. She seemed shocked that I asked her the question, but proceeded to pour the drink. She offered no explanation for her inexcusable disgusting behavior. It felt like it was a racial epithet and I felt violated. I will never visit this establishment again. Is this how all patrons are treated!!!!??? Her actions and lack of food safety disgusted me so much, I took her picture and attached it so everyone can see who this nasty individual is and stay away from her. Good food at a good price. Drinks are reasonable as well. The Stromboli/calzone are delicious and maybe the best deal in town. The "small" stromboli can feed two normal people or one hungry big boy. Good service unless you get the fake blonde bartender. She seems much more interested in being on her phone than offering good customer service. read more

I want to give this five stars because of how awesome the food was. We both had the BBQ chicken cheese steaks, which were amazing, but the service could use some work. The ladies tending the bar seemed more interested in socializing with their friends and each other as well as checking their phones (one of the girls had her phone in her hand the whole time.) I'll start this review letting you know that I'm from out of town. I have only been to Stroudsburg a couple times on business. Each time I seem to like it more. It's a very charming Main Street and the non-college student residents are absolutely wonderful and engaging. Entering this place at 8:30 on a Tuesday, I was wanting to watch a little hockey and have a beer to end my long day. I ended up getting a legit Philadelphia experience. About 1:45 the lights turn on and people start to head out about 1:50 I turned around to a bouncer crushing my drink in my face that I just bought from the bar .
