And just to clarify, my first visit was exactly how I wanted it. The second visit was a complete train wreck. I went in for a trim/clean up around the sides and back and a little off the top. I have or had a side part with long hair to leaving with a flat top with short hair. Like I'm ready to join the military. The cut is awful. Guess I'm going back to my old stylist to fix this train wreck. Now I need 4-6 months to grow back to its previous length. This cut ranks as one of the worst I've had in a long time.

Horrible Experience - Ruined My Birthday Gift I do not…read morerecommend going here. I arrived 10 minutes late to my appointment due to work. This visit was booked as a birthday gift, and I was expecting to get both my beard and hair done. Instead of being understanding, the barber was extremely rude, refused to provide the service, and still made me pay. Even though I explained the situation and agreed that I was late, he didn't offer any flexibility or courtesy--not even to just do my hair. He simply denied all services. This was a very unpleasant experience. I have never been treated so rudely by a service professional. Yes, I was late, but the way the situation was handled was completely unprofessional and unnecessary. Terrible experience. I hope this doesn't happen to you.

We've been barber hopping for the past two months and it has not been the best experience. I really wanted to make sure my toddler had a pleasant experience at the barbershop. Unfortunately we've had the trap barbers, I won't go into detail. He's walked out the shop looking like he didn't even get a haircut. And I've been scammed on StyleSeat by Someone who had hacked into a barber's profile. I decided to try yelp since I was striking out on StyleSeat. Troy was beyond amazing! I called that morning to find out if they even serviced four--year-olds. He answered. He said they serviced 4 yr olds He said he had same day availability . In my haste I booked the appointment online but did not pay attention to the barber who I selected. As luck would have it, I was in a fender bender down the street from the barbershop 30 minutes before the appointment so I called to cancel due to the fact i was going to be late waiting on the police. Troy answered and mentions that I had not booked with him but the other barber allowed me to cancel. Troy actually drove to meet me at the accident site because he said he was heading in my direction. He told me that once he was done running an errand he would still give my son a haircut. I was nervous. So many people had screwed up cutting this little boys hair. Not Troy!! He was patient and even danced to my son singing Baby Shark while he was in the chair. He pulled up a chair and let me sit close by when most barbers wave you off to the waiting area. We will definitely be back! Glad to have found a convenient, family friendly barber shop!

Since then (mid-2024), I've experienced firsthand what people say about barbers and salons in Atlanta--and the rumors are 100% true. Steep prices paired with poor service have been the norm. I passed this shop back in November 2025 and decided to give it a try. From the moment you walk in, there's an elevated experience--they offer you water upon entry, and the barber is ready right when you arrive. I went with a #4 with the grain, a high fade, and a part, and it came out really well. The service is excellent. They shampoo and wash your hair and even include a hot lather, which genuinely impressed me. It's a win-win overall since I also live in the area--no long drives or traffic to deal with. For anyone local, I definitely recommend giving this shop a try. For tourists looking for a reliable barber, I'd recommend it as well.
