We have eaten here a lot over the years. My hubby is from PA and every now and then wants a taste of home. The last couple of times it has not been the same. We just went yesterday and the decor is so odd now. It's like farm ish chic/ French bistro ish looking. The walls are shiny white and the rest is navy blue and the comfy booths are almost all gone replace by very uncomfortable and banged up chairs. I don't get it at all. The food is still good, although I noticed that the cheese steaks use canned mushrooms which is such a pet peeve of mine. Have I just never noticed before? Or is this a new owner thing. I miss the old place, all it needed was a fresh coat of paint and a little clean up. But nope... We have to turn it into some farm French cafe looking thing. With super uncomfortable and old banged up chairs.

Photos taken 6 months apart, all of the character, warmth and coziness has been stripped away, and replaced by drab white and grey. The cool yellowed vintage posters now dont make sense against the sterilized backdrop. If the owner reads these, I think grey/white minimalist design is on the way out in the next 5 years or so, people are longing for rich colors and unique atmospheres. Unfortunately youve already bought the supplies so I dont see it being changed again any time soon, just unfortunate such a cool place was dismantled. The food is good but a large part of why people leave their house and spend a premium over home cooked meals is for the experience/atmosphere

Went for a sandwich this afternoon and this place didn't disappoint. I had a Philly with peppers and onions. Delicious. The meat was tender and more than enough. My husband had the Philly slugger. It was chock full of meat, peppers, onions and mushrooms. For side items we had coleslaw and onion rings. The coleslaw made me think I was back in Massachusetts. Delicious flavor. The onion rings were ok. Christin our server was amazing. She checked on us often and made sure our drinks were always full. This place has been around for a long time but I never went to it. This is changing today. We will definitely be coming back. The restaurant was super clean.

Bill with tax added two times.

Watch out. They add sales tax to each individual item, then they total the meal and add it a second time. They keep the first 6.5% and only credit the second 6.5% to the taxes.

Went to see what all the hype is. There is not perfect Philly Cheese Steak unless you live in Philly, and even there you can find 2-3 versions. I was not overly impressed, the meat was chopped too fine for my taste; no evidence of Au Jus, (I prefer to have it running down my face when biting into) and little evidence of cheese. We ended up getting the Cheese sauce on the side. Making a Philly Cheese Steak is one thing, but don't try to convince people that it is the best in Fort Myers. The search continues...

I've been by the location quite a few times and finally said I am trying it! I love cheesesteaks so I wanted to put it to the test. I ordered the Cheesesteak with onions and a side of the rings. Over all I would rate this a 6/10. It was a decent steak but a little too wet for my taste. Made bread soggy pretty quick. I also enjoy my steaks with cheese wiz but i did not see the option on the menu. The rings were pretty good I added a side of ranch to dip and it paired well. Service was great. The waitress was very attentive to everyone and kept up with all the tables. The location has a very dinner/apple bees style feeling. Decor is sports related and mainly Philly teams. Plenty of space for big and small groups. Parking is abundant since this is a plaza with multiple businesses.

Hurricane Ian has left so much damage behind. They may be working with a limited menu, but they are working hard to provide fresh food to all those who have been without power for over a week. They are working tirelessly and have such a positive attitude. My Italian sun was over flowing with goodness and I even had to take 1/2 home ! Please support this small business - they are working to help get us all back on our feet.

This is the "Double Play" with extra meat and cheese. Doesn't even fill the roll. I'd hate to see the regular version.

I ordered a prime rib sandwich with a cream soda drink. The staff ensure they do it the way you want! Swiss cheese melted into the beef. Really, Great. With my sandwich, there appears the protein is little more than the average sandwich shop. There are inside tables as well outside tables available. Will we return? Definitely, yes!

Stepping inside..... we felt It was comfortable but it was just another sandwich shop. Ok.... BUT...... When we were able to sample the sandwiches on toasted rolls, it totally changed our mind. ITS NOT YOUR ORDINARY SANDWICH SHOP !!! With so many YELP people participating in this event, it was served as a buffet style. They were quick to serve all of us in a timely manner. But normally, you go up to the counter, select what you want and move on to cash out. Easy peazy !!! We each got to taste 2 sandwiches (really 1/2 sandwich portions), with a bag of chips & a drink. I selected the turkey w/ avocado & Mama's Meatball. My first taste was Mama's Meatball....... The flavor was over the top delicious! . Probably of how it was cut... I got the side with only 2 meatballs. I sure wished I had a couple more. The meatballs were moist & tender but the sauce was the BEST (in my opinion ). My second sandwich was the Turkey w/ avocado & cucumber slices. I was surprised to see that It was piled high with turkey on a toasted roll and was very tasty. Very nice portion of meat. My husband chose the Italian & A Wreck. Loaded with a good portions of meat on a toasted roll. He enjoyed both sandwiches. Next course was the soup.... Our table tasted the loaded potato soup, chili & the pot pie soup. Everyone enjoy what they selected. Ooohhh, in house made cookies are a MUST !! For dessert~ along with Oatmeal chocolate chip, the white chocolate sugar cookie & the double chocolate one, we were also able to taste a good sample of Chocolate & Oreo Cookies shakes. We'd go back JUST for those !!! We will definitely stop back into a Potbelly Sandwich store again !!! Highly recommended !!!

Let's talk smoothies first. The Inland Bliss, Sunrise Bay and Paradise Seeker were on repeat for me the entire week. No sugar added, just pure blended fruit and ice. For breakfast one morning I had the Jersey Special on a baguette and I haven't had a breakfast sandwich like that since being back home in New York. Fried egg, Taylor ham, bacon, hash brown and cheese. I'm still dreaming about it. For lunch I had the turkey and provolone on a croissant and was completely blown away. Simple, flavorful and absolutely delicious. My fiancé had the tuna melt one day and loved every bite. I also tried the French onion soup and it was soooooo yum. What made every single visit even better was Anna and Uglus (I hope I spelled that right). They welcomed me back every time like I was a regular and that kind of warmth is everything when you're away from home. The place is cute and quaint.
