Choosing our flooring and tile was fine, and the carpet installation was OK, but the LVT instillation was TERRIBLE! Just a few months after the instillation pieces started popping up. They have been back 4 times to "fix" it. They have used 2 different types of glue and neither have worked. In December of 2020 they said they would put in a claim to replace the flooring - five months later and nothing has been done! We've talked to a person in the claims department several times and she is very apologetic but she has no authority to do anything. We've spoken to her manager as well but that gets us nothing. The owner, Ken, will not speak to us. Not sure what else to do, but DO NOT have them install LVT, better yet, don't go there AT ALL!!

None of this was told previously nor the lack of professionalism in the installation. So here I am left with what they called finished and in a new built home that is already damaged by Carpet's unlimited! To top it off the satisfaction survey call just called and I'm sitting here like when are you even going to finish the job!. Not fit to even install floor in the dog's house.

If you desire something additional, or if you are wondering if this is included, stop the project and ask. It will save you a lot of money at the end. In remodeling you can expect 15% above costs but you must be active to avoid huge financial surprises. 3. Make sure you stop the project and get a change order of it is a large protect, 20k or more. 4. Don't expect Ben Clark to be on site much or to be organized about your project. The company will not!!! The company rep. might push a broom occasionally but that's it. 5. Understand that if you need a subcontractor to come back and fix something during construction that you request, that cost is on you. It might make sense to have it done while the electrician or drywall person is there, but if they have to come back because Ben Clark jr remodeling was disorganized, it costs you money not the company. 6. Please, please, please, get everything in writing. It will save you a whole lot of heartache. 7. Not a contracting company I would ever, ever, ever use again.
