I went into this nail salon for the very first time ever today & will never be back. It was around 11:30am when I walked in & there were no other customers inside. As I was writing my name down on the service requested sheet, someone from the back came out & asked (with an attitude) what I was getting done. I told her I just needed my nails done & she told me that she didn't have time. That's it, she said nothing else, just walked away. I have never experienced anything like that before in my life. I am a licensed nail tech and I trust NO salons except Phillips! They use "legal" products called "Tammy Taylor" which I use and is based out of LA! I only trust Phillips wife to do my nails and every time they are beautiful!! She follows every steps thoroughly, as was I when trained in Nail Technician School and nowadays...MAJORITY of "those" salons do NOT clean their tools properly nor do the service throughly with every Step!!! GO PHILLIPS!! read more

Rude & rushed service. Unpleasant service providers. Very impatient.

The people here are unprofessional and rude in general. However it is convenient to where I work. If I have no time I will run over there on lunch. Today I went and they said 15 minute wait. I told them I would be back in 15 minutes and when I returned they told me they have no time to take me today due to appointments. Again there professionalism just is not there for the shoty work they do you would think they would be professional and kind. read more

This place was such a horrible experience, not only does the staff suck but their work is horrible. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. A salon is supposed to be a relaxing experience not to be treated like garbage while you trying to do something nice for yourself. Do not go to this place for nail services. My 11 year old daughter and her friend went and their nails look like crap. They refused to fix them and still made us pay. I called again to request a refund and the woman I spoke with was very rude and told me they would not refund my money. It's sad when these places take advantage of people. Thought it was a nice place until they show their true colors. They sell gift certificates and then don't honor them and even change the value when someone comes in to use their gift certificate. A business that raises prices still has to honor the gift certificate at the time of purchase and not ask for more money unless a service had been added to it such as acrylic, nails fancy tips etc. The most important thing is that there are no expiration dates on gift certificates when purchased with money credit card or debit card. The only time they could put an expiration date on a gift certificate is if they had donated to a fundraiser then they have the right to put a date. It is illegal to put expiration dates on gift certificates. read more

BEWARE! I wouldn't even give this place one star. I also never write reviews unless very good or very bad, so please run for the hills! By far the most horrific nail experience I have ever had. I should have had the tech stop, but I thought it couldn't get any worse...I was wrong. First she took off my gel by using a drill file that you use for acrylic nails. Ok fine whatever. What came next ...I was baffled. She proceeded my manicure by continuing with the drill as she skinned off the dead skin around my nails and also my cuticles. OUCH! What came next was even more gross! Instead of having me wash the debris I can clearly see off my hands like normal Places she proceeded to put on my gel color over and around all the dead skin!!! There was no sink in sight! This was the icing on the cake. I mean wth!!!!! Also, a client walked in as she started my polish and there was no hello, no direction, nothing whatsoever. The poor girl looked so confused and uncomfortable and I wanted to shout to her to leave! I'm hoping I don't grow some kind of infection. If I do I will surely be calling the health department. read more
