Once we went in to pick up the car, they told us it was $985.44. Wouldn't explain why the price changed. We paid and saw on our card we were charged $1015. Called them and they claimed they replaced our air cabin filter (we never wanted nor asked for that or approved it) and charged us for that as well as a surcharge we were not told about. They said they would refund those but we needed to wait to talk to Nick. Called Nick later and he said he will not refund anything like we were told we would. We paid for a service we didn't ask for and a surcharge we were not told about. Expect to pay more than you were told and for no reason. Shady business. Unfortunately now will have to dispute on our card.

Then being on my way to work, my back wheel started making a noise to the point, I could not drive it. I called Roadside assistance. As we got the car home and called in another mechanic, we discovered 3 bolts to the hub were not tightened and the other one was so tight it took 2 people to try to get this bolt off. One bolt was chewed up pretty bad where it was sticking half way in and out. Which beat the hub up pretty good. What I paid Binkleys for the mess they left me and the new mechanic, im out of pocket about 800 as of now! Still Trying to locate bolts to put back in the hub. So disappointing. I will not be going back. This could've gone way worse than what it did.

Then after "fixing" that, I was almost completely unable to stop my car because it was trying to accelerate out of my control. They finally realized to disconnect the battery and then reconnect it. That worked. On another occasion I had a 30,000 mile service performed. My receipt did not show that. They were to include a pair of wiper blades with the 30,000 mile service but they did not give me those. The service writer conveniently forgot. This shop is absolutely terrible just like all auto Repair shops in Clarksville. Beware. Try another repair shop.

Being a woman it's always a toss up bringing my car in to a mechanic and bracing to be "talked down too" about what needs to be done. But not here! A&R respected me, understood that I already knew what I needed done and never tried to upsell me in anything. Their diagnostic check comes with photos showing you exactly what they find and they were so friendly going over everything with me on the phone and discussing what I should do in the future for tune ups without trying to push me into anything today. My battery terminals were replaced and my car was seen and repaired in about a 3 hour turn around! Pricing seems fair, repairs are never cheap and diagnostic prices are on par with dealerships. I feel like my money was well spent with a crew that cared! Will be my new go to mechanics in town for sure. Thank you!

Their inspection sheet features images to go with their assessment, which provides proof for those who might be skeptical. Its not like the quick oil change places where you go in for an oil change and they come talk to you about everything from your air filter, tire rotation, engine flush, serpentine belt, and anything they have no record of at their location to even include changing the air freshener tree on your mirror "as per manufacturer recommendations..." or "to enhance the performance/engine life of your vehicle..." They take the time to do a fair and accurate assessment to see if other problems exist. You don't always want to hear what they have to say after their inspection (I drive an '05 so they had all kinds of legitimate findings...) but they are forthright and live up to their name. I was familiar with most of the problems they identified and would trust they wouldn't gouge someone not as savvy with mechanical knowledge. Good and courteous folks work here and who seem to enjoy what they do. While I live here, I will continue to utilize them for my vehicle's needs. I highly recommend them and would trust them enough to care for family and friends with as much time and attention to detail.
