Like most other QTs if you are going inside, the cashiers are always friendly, helpful, and efficient. The only times I go in are when I need ice or gum! Most of my time spent here is out at the pump! They definitely have times that are super busy and it's really congested, but otherwise, it's a great place to fill up. Like a couple of the other reviews have stated, there are occasionally some folks who ask for money, I never have cash on me, so I usually just buy 'em a coffee. Why not! Cheers, QT. I was trying to use my fleet card at the pump but the pump was refusing to read it. This happens…read moreevery now and then so I went inside and tried to pay there and the numb skull behind the counter had the nerve to tell me that my card was declined. I said that's not possible it didn't even prompt me for an odometer reading or driver number but he insisted that in front of a bunch of people in line at that. When I went back out to the pump my card worked just fine. It would be nice if he would not say stuff that's humiliating and inaccurate in front of everybody and told me to call my company. Thankfully I'm used to this kind of nonsense and I figured it out on my own.

I was unable to get the card to work at the pump. Went in to pay. But before I was able to pay, the clerk ran out to the pump with a device, then ran back in and then had me swipe my card to prepay for gas. His actions seemed strange at the time. That same day, someone used my card info to make several withdraws from a nearby atm. I have no way to know for sure but seemed suspicious to me.

The same folks have been there for years and will ask you about your day or tell you to feel better if they see you buying some cold medicine. After 11 they do close the door and complete transactions though the window but hey, that's perfectly reasonable and safe. It's true they are a couple of cents more per gallon than the conglomerates but I'm happy to spend that to support the owners and nice people who work there. But here, the slow flow puts me in mind of yesteryear's high-wheeled motor buggies, when a few gallons might be all that was needed. Nevertheless, BP Gasmart is conveniently located near fine S. Grand businesses.
