Being an independent owner does not keep them from being competitive in their pricing. Their pricing is the same as the mass chains down the road. Attendents are friendly and chatty, giving it that true mom & pop feel. Whenever I can, I fill my tank up here. Because, shopping local isn't just about retail it is about services too.

Prices are fair and comparable to competitors, it's close proximity make it a great place to stop for traveler's passing through on interstate 55 for gas, food or Just to stretch ones legs. There are also several hotels and food options nearby making it easy for those from out of town to eat and gas up the car and get back on the road. Due to the issues with the fountain area and the restrooms I'm giving this station four stars.

I came in for an oil change and a fluid check on way my through town. He was upfront and told me they probably couldn't get to the car until the afternoon. Later, I'm pretty sure he was the same guy who called me and told me what they found (some fluids needed filling and air filter replacement, etc.), and he gave me an exact price. Prices were decent, but I'm not from the area, so maybe that's skewed. Later, I picked up the car from a different guy and he seemed like I was wasting his time. Excuse me? I'm handing you my credit card and you are taking money from my account. Maybe you want to lighten up. Hit or miss, here. But my car seems perfectly happy and I suppose that's all that matters. Bonus point for being upfront and straightforward about everything. :)
