He was thorough, professional, and attentive throughout the visit. He even took the time to ask whether I had any concerns that he hadn't already addressed, which I truly appreciated. Beyond my experience with Dr. Hopper, I was especially impressed that the practice has its own mammography equipment on site. For years, I've had to schedule a separate appointment at a diagnostic center and then wait for the results to be sent back to my gynecologist. Having everything handled in one location is incredibly convenient and a major plus for me. I was also grateful that they were able to fit me in for a mammogram at the last minute. Kelsey was friendly, accommodating, and made the entire process quick and comfortable. She kindly worked me in just before her lunch break, which I greatly appreciated. She easily could have asked me to wait (a whole hour) or rescheduled me for another day, but instead she went out of her way to help. Then proceeds to give me the same medication I told him didn't work. He didn't send any sample in for testing. I thought maybe he wants to see for himself that this medication doesn't work. I see him a few times get the same medicine the same type of exam. Then at my last visit he says he's tried everything. He then looks me dead in my face a says " you are very heavy and smell is going to happen unfortunately. the winter is coming so the smell should go away. want to see you back in 6 months." Then sends me on way. Come to find out I went to a different GYN and I have something called AV. So it's not because I'm fat... I'm really not even heavy. So go somewhere else do not see this asshole. Not once did he send ANYTHING IN for testing. He basically fingered me, sniffed it and wiped it on a dish.... How is that even remotely okay. I was so desperate for a solution, I ignored the red flags. Please there are better doctors out there. Don't go to this practice.

He had seen me previously and knowing I needed a follow up as a previous cancer patient, said he didn't have time to examine me. They said they were closing in December but I was trying to get an appt. in the summer! I told the staff I could see one of the nurses or pa's but they would not accomodate me. Without my permission he sent my file to a different doctor located in a different city. This doctor never called me and I was not interested in seeing him. When I asked for my file they wanted to charge me per page and said I had to come to Ocala to get it! Finally, they agreed to send it to me. They had a sign hanging on their wall which was their supposed mission statement that "we are all friends here etc". They certainly failed to live up to their claims.

Since September 2024, I have been calling the office regularly and have been told the same thing over and over--that everything is processed, and that I am simply waiting for Dr. Marquette to sign the reimbursement check. Nearly a year later, nothing has been resolved. Despite my patience and numerous attempts to work with the office, the reimbursement I am owed has not been issued. This lack of follow-through and accountability is extremely unprofessional. Patients should not have to spend months chasing down money that rightfully belongs to them. Unfortunately, my experience with this office has been one of unnecessary stress, lack of communication, and unfulfilled promises. I would caution anyone considering this office to be aware of how they handle financial matters.

I tried to send a message to my friend to tell them that I was unfortunately going to be late. That message was unable to be sent. The "failed to send" message showed up. There are patients, sitting in that waiting room, who MUST have their fully communications with their husband & especially with their children. It could be a matter of life or death. I have a business to run, from my phone and my phone alone. If I don't answer right away ... I miss a sale. If you want to put your entire life & business on hold while you are simply waiting for the doctor... then go to this doctor. Also, There is a 75% chance that you will NOT be seen by Dr Marquette himself. He has nurse practitioners and midwives he can delegate MOST of his duties to. Unless you request the doctor... you will not get the doctor. The turn over ratio of doctor to patient is extremely high. If you are looking for more personalized service, this is not the doctors office for you.
