It's unfortunate that he does not except most insurances and some of the tests he needs are not covered by any insurances. The out of pocket expense for test/medicines with insurance has been closed to $1200. Then proceeds to give me the same medication I told him didn't work. He didn't send any sample in for testing. I thought maybe he wants to see for himself that this medication doesn't work. I see him a few times get the same medicine the same type of exam. Then at my last visit he says he's tried everything. He then looks me dead in my face a says " you are very heavy and smell is going to happen unfortunately. the winter is coming so the smell should go away. want to see you back in 6 months." Then sends me on way. Come to find out I went to a different GYN and I have something called AV. So it's not because I'm fat... I'm really not even heavy. So go somewhere else do not see this asshole. Not once did he send ANYTHING IN for testing. He basically fingered me, sniffed it and wiped it on a dish.... How is that even remotely okay. I was so desperate for a solution, I ignored the red flags. Please there are better doctors out there. Don't go to this practice.

In July 2024, after my pregnancy became high-risk, I was referred and transferred to Shands in Gainesville. At that point, I began requesting that my insurance claims be processed and the balance of my pre-payments refunded for services not rendered. Since September 2024, I have been calling the office regularly and have been told the same thing over and over--that everything is processed, and that I am simply waiting for Dr. Marquette to sign the reimbursement check. Nearly a year later, nothing has been resolved. Despite my patience and numerous attempts to work with the office, the reimbursement I am owed has not been issued. This lack of follow-through and accountability is extremely unprofessional. Patients should not have to spend months chasing down money that rightfully belongs to them. Unfortunately, my experience with this office has been one of unnecessary stress, lack of communication, and unfulfilled promises. I would caution anyone considering this office to be aware of how they handle financial matters.

The door was constantly being opened & closed..., but an hour & 1/2 of WAITING.. you stare at the wall or the ceiling ... it wasn't YOU ( meaning me ) that was going to be called to the back. I tried to send a message to my friend to tell them that I was unfortunately going to be late. That message was unable to be sent. The "failed to send" message showed up. There are patients, sitting in that waiting room, who MUST have their fully communications with their husband & especially with their children. It could be a matter of life or death. I have a business to run, from my phone and my phone alone. If I don't answer right away ... I miss a sale. If you want to put your entire life & business on hold while you are simply waiting for the doctor... then go to this doctor. Also, There is a 75% chance that you will NOT be seen by Dr Marquette himself. He has nurse practitioners and midwives he can delegate MOST of his duties to. Unless you request the doctor... you will not get the doctor. The turn over ratio of doctor to patient is extremely high. If you are looking for more personalized service, this is not the doctors office for you.
