He was thorough, professional, and attentive throughout the visit. He even took the time to ask whether I had any concerns that he hadn't already addressed, which I truly appreciated. Beyond my experience with Dr. Hopper, I was especially impressed that the practice has its own mammography equipment on site. For years, I've had to schedule a separate appointment at a diagnostic center and then wait for the results to be sent back to my gynecologist. Having everything handled in one location is incredibly convenient and a major plus for me. I was also grateful that they were able to fit me in for a mammogram at the last minute. Kelsey was friendly, accommodating, and made the entire process quick and comfortable. She kindly worked me in just before her lunch break, which I greatly appreciated. She easily could have asked me to wait (a whole hour) or rescheduled me for another day, but instead she went out of her way to help. They said they were closing in December but I was trying to get an appt. in the summer! I told the staff I could see one of the nurses or pa's but they would not accomodate me. Without my permission he sent my file to a different doctor located in a different city. This doctor never called me and I was not interested in seeing him. When I asked for my file they wanted to charge me per page and said I had to come to Ocala to get it! Finally, they agreed to send it to me. They had a sign hanging on their wall which was their supposed mission statement that "we are all friends here etc". They certainly failed to live up to their claims.

In July 2024, after my pregnancy became high-risk, I was referred and transferred to Shands in Gainesville. At that point, I began requesting that my insurance claims be processed and the balance of my pre-payments refunded for services not rendered. Since September 2024, I have been calling the office regularly and have been told the same thing over and over--that everything is processed, and that I am simply waiting for Dr. Marquette to sign the reimbursement check. Nearly a year later, nothing has been resolved. Despite my patience and numerous attempts to work with the office, the reimbursement I am owed has not been issued. This lack of follow-through and accountability is extremely unprofessional. Patients should not have to spend months chasing down money that rightfully belongs to them. Unfortunately, my experience with this office has been one of unnecessary stress, lack of communication, and unfulfilled promises. I would caution anyone considering this office to be aware of how they handle financial matters.

The door was constantly being opened & closed..., but an hour & 1/2 of WAITING.. you stare at the wall or the ceiling ... it wasn't YOU ( meaning me ) that was going to be called to the back. I tried to send a message to my friend to tell them that I was unfortunately going to be late. That message was unable to be sent. The "failed to send" message showed up. There are patients, sitting in that waiting room, who MUST have their fully communications with their husband & especially with their children. It could be a matter of life or death. I have a business to run, from my phone and my phone alone. If I don't answer right away ... I miss a sale. If you want to put your entire life & business on hold while you are simply waiting for the doctor... then go to this doctor. Also, There is a 75% chance that you will NOT be seen by Dr Marquette himself. He has nurse practitioners and midwives he can delegate MOST of his duties to. Unless you request the doctor... you will not get the doctor. The turn over ratio of doctor to patient is extremely high. If you are looking for more personalized service, this is not the doctors office for you.
