Buying something as expensive and important as a house virtually seemed nuts. But as the new year began we started getting the urge to just take a look. Who knew that within just a few weeks we would have an accepted offer? There is no one else we would have felt comfortable buying remotely with. And the only reason we changed from just looking to seriously buying was because we came to trust and rely on Billy's opinions. He is not just a savvy and knowledgeable realtor, he is truly a sincere and nice guy. He would warn us that even if we lose out on a house, in the end it always works out (and SPOILER ALERT he's right). But he still commiserated with us when we were outbid and he really went above and beyond when we were searching for the right home. And he really does want to find you the right home. He will be honest with you about any negatives he sees and he will steer you away from any bad decisions. Sometimes we were so keen to just get a house that we were willing to settle or make hasty decisions. But Billy makes sure that whatever house you get is a great house and whatever you do is sound and smart. And I'm so glad that he was there with us helping make all our decisions. He would give us daily updates of his endeavors going door to door and networking with other agents. In the end it was a note of his he left on the door of a house that was off the market that did the trick. We were able to buy a house that was miles better than any of the other houses we put offers on with basically no other competition. In the crazy housing market right now you need someone like Billy who is willing to go the extra mile. He was always trying innovative techniques to help us stand out amongst other buyers and that's exactly what it takes these days. He's continued to be invaluable after closing. He was great to bounce ideas around with about updating the house after moving in and he and Heather have been great with recommendations. He is always super responsive and I'm so glad I can still rely on him even after we've closed.

After interviewing several agents, I met with Thang. We clicked immediately, talking to Thang was like talking to an old friend. Thang is not pushy, he listens to your thoughts and concerns. Every realtor has a different approach and I felt the most compatible with Thang. Thang's hardworking team, Ben, Stephanie and Angella were also a pleasure to work with. My condo had been a rental for many years so Thang and Ben coordinated some needed updating and had it professionally staged. His team put together a beautiful marketing flyer and had open houses every weekend until it sold. Thang is very optimistic, he finds the positive in every situation. Even when the first offer fell through, he managed to put me at ease. Selling a home can be stressful but I was always confident Thang and his team were doing everything possible to sell my property. I am most grateful for their dedication and hard work. It was great to work with genuinely a nice group of people.

MORGAN HAD AN OFFER ON MY CONDO IN 10 DAYS (and the condo…read morewas a piece of work! you should see the before/after pictures from Morgan's staging) I'm beyond impressed with Morgan. I went through a terrible experience with a previous realtor and after 4 months my property didn't have 1 offer so I took it off the market. Many months later, I searched Google and found Morgan after reading a review on here (Yelp) and browsing her website. After reviewing her "buyer/seller guide" (which I highly recommend you ask her for), it literally answered every question I had as a seller. And in my case, I started to question after living in 4 states and working with countless realtors, why this was my first time seeing such a guide? It speaks to Morgan's ability to truly understand her market and clients. I went from no sell after 4 months to hiring Morgan and had an offer in 10 DAYS!!! You can't get any better than that. What I love about Morgan is that she's a straight-shooter. She won't B.S. you and she delivers. She also pays attention to details. I lived out of state from my property so she did all of the legwork for me. My condo needed some work with painting, staging (which I HIGHLY recommend her staging services), and minor maintenance. Her pricing was reasonable, she got it done in a timely manner, and she found ways to save (to the point that she went and actually swapped an item purchased for a less expensive one). She has a great eye for design, and most importantly, she's trustworthy. I can't recommend this woman enough. No shade to male realtors, but my experience personally has been that woman realtors pay more attention to details. I gave Morgan my timeline and budget and she completely exceeded my expectations. I don't even think this review does her justice as I'm beyond thankful for her services. She's phenomenal. If you're in search of a realtor or have a realtor already but you have a hunch they aren't meeting your needs, before you sign any papers, I'd make the switch or at minimum hear what she has to say. You won't regret it. I only wish I'd known of her the first time around.

I have used DRG for the leasing and management of my two-bedroom condo in St. Louis Park and can't…read moresay enough about the great, responsive service I have received from the team. Within a week of inquiring about their leasing process, I had an agent out at my house to discuss my options and he helped me to make an informed decision on what my unit was worth in the current market. Following our discussion, they were quick to list the unit and promoted it in a variety of ways, including their Facebook page and other on-line resources. Two days and multiple showings later, I had a fantastic renter who committed to a 26-month lease. I credit this to my leasing team's knowledge of the market and reputation in the industry as being the go-to provider for condos in the MSP area. Since leasing my condo over two years ago, I have had nothing but outstanding service from my management team, namely, Megan Evans-Sharbano. She is quick, incredibly responsive and makes the landlord experience seamless. I live out-of-state and having someone on the ground near the unit, should something, happen is very comforting. My washing machine wasn't working and Megan not only sourced new machines within my given budget, she also arranged for the install and removal of my old unit, no questions asked. It couldn't have been a more painless experience and it's great to know I don't have to spend time arranging those types of tasks. I also have purchased Groupons for services for my home and she handles the timing of the service with my tenant. While the team does have a maintenance team who can assist with projects, it's nice to know they let me use whatever contractor or service-provider I want. She also does quarterly inspections to ensure the unit is being kept up, and is always providing updates as they arise. I've also referred DRG to a number of neighbors who are in similar situations and they have also had nothing but great things to say. As I look to sell my unit, there is no doubt that I will be leveraging DRG's selling team. I recently had a meeting with BJ LaVelle and he walked through the entire process and helped me understand the current market. I'm confident his team's reputation will be invaluable during this process and I'm excited for the possibility to continue my relationship with the DRG team, moving forward.

He also didn't push back when I sent him listings that I wanted to check out, despite them not being a best fit for me; he allowed me to go through the process and grow through the process. Mid-way through my search I pivoted from wanting a condo to exploring a single family home and Austen eagerly pivoted with me showing me three properties the following morning. He was great about reaching out to me with a regular cadence and suggesting properties for me to tour. One property in particular was one where he was representing the seller and it was not yet on the market officially. When I walked in I was super impressed with the beautiful light of the south facing windows, the gorgeous hardwood floors and 100-year-old woodwork. Despite touring several houses after that, I kept thinking back to the property that would eventually become mine. By having a sneak peak into a pre-listing I was able to take more time with my choice to purchase and avoided the craziness of the spring real estate market. This was something that had plagued me on several prior offer submissions. Had I not been working with Austen I would have never found this gem. The whole Odd Couple Team in general was awesome to work with. The co-owner of the team called me when I started working with Austen and after I purchased my home to congratulate me. Additionally, I received a fun welcome gift from them at my closing that was an awesome surprise! That type of all star service is why you should work with their team.
