BEWARE. ISAAC KUEHN, realtor for DRG used his professional realtor license to open an unauthorized lock box without notifying the other agent or homeowner & he used the keys in that lock box to grant himself access to THE BOOKMEN STACKS CONDO bldg in North Loop Minneapolis. He entered the bldg & used the facilities in the bldg without a resident. I reported him to the Minnesota Real Estate Board in summer 2024 & sent them the bldg security footage of him propping the lobby doors open & he was found guilty & was fined in the Fall of 2024. He requested an in-person Appeal board meeting which I was present & since he continued to be dishonest throughout the entire process, the real estate board severely increased his fine he had to pay to the board & required he complete other disciplinary measures & is on his public record for few years. He is the most dishonest Realtor in Real Estate & he is very unprofessional. read more

My husband and I are people of color, and I am a disabled woman. I share that because it feels relevant to how we were treated by DRG--specifically by their employee Patrick Cason, who communicated with us in an aggressive and condescending manner. It felt like he assumed we didn't know our rights and could be intimidated into accepting whatever they decided. We moved out on the 8th of the month, but DRG required us to pay rent for the entire month. Then they withheld a large portion of that overpaid rent along with our entire security deposit. The reasoning they gave was inconsistent and unsupported. They claimed smoke damage but provided no real evidence--just a dirty air filter, which we fully admit we should have replaced before moving out. But a dirty air filter doesn't prove smoke damage, and their own move-out report never mentioned any smoke odor or related concerns. In fact, the report--completed by someone hired by DRG--only noted a few dirty carpet spots, not that the carpet needed to be cleaned or replaced. Yet, we were charged for full carpet replacement. When we asked for documentation, Patrick responded with hostile and accusatory emails. At one point, he even told us the owner wanted to sue us and that he was "talking them out of it." That kind of language felt less like professionalism and more like an attempt to scare us into submission. We've filed a conciliation court claim to hold them accountable and will update this review after the hearing. Until then, I strongly urge anyone considering a DRG property to document everything, ask questions, and know your rights. I'm going to go ahead and downgrade my rating of DRG. You can read my original review but after an incident happened mid-June of 2016 that left my rental property in immediate need of around $15k-20k in repair, DRG has spent every ounce of energy convincing me that all they do is play messenger between myself and the owner (aka taking no actual ownership but to me, DRG is my "landlord"). It was not fully fixed until after Labor Day. DRG and anyone involved at least on the rental side of this company has been nothing but a sheer embarrassment. Helpful Hint: Most renters in the areas you do business with are future homeowners. The justification from this company on waiting an entire Summer to even START repairs on $15k in damage: "If it's any consolation...aren't you glad your AC is working this hot, hot, hot week. I have some tenants without AC....YIKES!!" This was an actual excerpt from an e-mail from the Rental Coordinator. YIKES is right. Maintenance issues happen, accidents happen, and life happens. How a company chooses to approach their obligations for repairs is something I never thought I'd have to even question until now. Tenants should research their rights and hold companies like DRG accountable. At the end of the lease, it was awkward. Completely awkward. They hand responsibility of the determination of the deposit refund back to the actual owner. Funny thing is.. DRG did the move-in inspection and pics, but leave another party in charge of the post-lease final inspection. Don't expect DRG to educate their client (property owner) of the MN law of 1% interest on security deposits or remind them of your actual security deposit amount. My refund conveniently forgot the actual amount of the security deposit and proceeded to forget about the 1% interest owed on all portions of security deposit. One hot mess. Maybe their sales side of the business is better. I have no experience. read more

DRG is the most unprofessional management company we have ever dealt with to manage our property. They first didn't advertise on the most critical website, so we lost a month, then used an old template agreement with wrong renter names, then they let the tenant move in early and only found out because my son showed up, and then lied about things left and right. They were just horrible to deal with. In the end we decided to fly to MN to check on things for ourselves and luckily we did or our lights would have been on for months. Do not use them and especially don't work with Tim Carson. He first comes off as a nice - smooth operator, but then you learn quickly he is not trustworthy and unethical. He also will speak to you in a rude and condescending manner. Even Joe Grunnet the founder / owner was non-responsive and could care less. read more

I had a very positive experience living in the North Loop of Minneapolis, however had an extremely negative experience working with DRG. From the very beginning, they acted slimy. When first touring the unit (that I ended up renting for a year and a half), Paul from DRG used a high pressure sales tactic of portraying high demand for the unit, saying that there had been many showings since it was first listed days ago (when I knew it had been on the market/for rent for multiple weeks) and requesting that today (can't wait until tomorrow or the next day) I offer above the asking rent, or else he wouldn't even present the offer to the owners (because the owners would likely be offended). I waited until I felt comfortable several days after the showing to express to Paul that I would like to move forward with the unit at the current asking rent price. He tried to convey doubt that the owners would say no, but I persisted and I ended up signing the lease that I felt comfortable with. This was the first negative experience I associated with DRG with one of their employees. The relationship with DRG throughout the duration of the lease was relatively non-existent. Matt, from DRG would occasionally reach out to say the owner needed to stop by to pick up a package, or replace a water filter, but we were always able to coordinate a time. Fast forward to about 3 months before our lease ended, we reached out to Matt to let him know that we would not be signing a new lease or extending the lease on the same terms as the existing lease. (not to get into the legal details, but this was exactly what we needed to do to give our 2 month notice.) A roommate on the lease got accepted into graduate school and was moving away so we said we would not extend or renew under the same terms, but would potentially extend with a reduced rate. After being relatively responsive throughout the relationship with Matt, he all of a sudden became nowhere to be found. We followed up... still nothing. On the first of the month, two months before the end of the lease, we reached out again, saying that we wanted acknowledgement that they received our notice of our email detailing our desire to end the lease under the current terms. Still nothing from Matt... About a week later, we found out Matt was indeed alive, but he was waiting for a very specific moment to follow up with us. He emailed us saying that our notice (the email trying to get acknowledgement that DRG received our email) was actually one day late for the 2 months notice and that he would extend our lease another month on the same terms. We emailed him saying, "but wait we said we weren't renewing." And then he copied his boss, Patrick Carlson, on the email chain to try to straighten things out. Patrick recommended we hire a lawyer to try to dispute DRG in court. This was the second negative experience I associated with DRG with two more of their employees. Moving out was another story. Based on the negative experiences we had with DRG, I knew they would try their best at reducing the security deposit to be returned to me to zero. I did everything required of me per the terms of the lease. Hiring professional cleaners, check. Carpet cleaning, check. The list went on and on, check. I had reviewed the lease several times because I knew DRG would be the exact company to have a "gotcha" expense pop up. A week before move out, I received an email from Matt showing a screenshot of what was "in our lease" and what was expected upon move out. His screenshot of "our lease" wasn't actually the lease. It excluded a very expensive item requiring carpet cleaning. Luckily I had reviewed my lease and had the carpets cleaned. Fast forward to today, I received a portion of the security deposit in the mail. It seems like DRG simply assumes these "gotcha" moments. There is a $129 cleaning fee and a $420 carpet cleaning fee reduced from my security deposit. DRG and the employees at DRG are so predictable. Matt won't return my calls anymore and I've determined it's not worth my time trying to track down that $500+. Unfortunately, this is all part of DRG's business plan. This is not one bad apple at DRG. This is a pattern of employees at this company being unethical, slimy, and taking advantage of one tenant after another. This company is not worth my time anymore. I'm sick of having to fight these silly fights. I am a normal young professional working in Minneapolis who has the courage to stick up for himself, but there are so many people out there who just take the bullying and unethical behavior that DRG gives. It's not right. If you are thinking about using DRG to rent your unit, know that this is how a tenant of yours might feel. If you are a prospective tenant, just be aware. read more

Sketchy! We recently worked with DRG to purchase a condo in Minneapolis. After several months of working with DRG, we realized there is a very concerted effort to get us, the buyer, at or above "full ask". This occurred even when we believed/knew there was room for negotiation. At first, we thought these recommendations were simply based on the competitive seller's market, which is certainly the current environment. However, we put an offer on a condo, about 20k under ask, and the realtor said "the seller will laugh at us" and essentially refused to present our offer. We later learned that was not only unprofessional but was a breach of realtor ethics and guidelines. We foolishly trusted DRG. We later put an offer on a loft just above asking price (because that particular unit was "50-75k under market value"... or was it?). We withdrew our offer as something didn't seem right. Fast forward SIX months and that same unit sold for 65k UNDER asking price. We felt manipulated though thankfully got out unscathed. It would appear as though DRG is attempting to drive the market. Which makes sense, higher sales price = higher priced comps = higher sales price and the cycle continues. All in the name of profit. Bottom line: DRG puts their own financial interest before that of the buyer. read more

I wish I had seen the reviews prior to signing up with DRG and its owner, Joe Grunnet... So learn from my mistake and read the reviews: common themes include unprofessional behavior, unethical sales and rental tactics, and overall lack of experience and common sense. We had two listings with Joe and his protégé, Isaac (who is currently a full time undergrad student), and had to pull one listing, but were stuck on another because the buyer's agent contacted me directly and I referred them to DRG (major faux pas on my end). We are in the process of closing that sale and the amount of things that are going wrong is just adding up. Documentation is not correct, emails and calls are not answered, and overall, I am starting to doubt our actual ability to close. Joe sends unprofessional emails and texts, and has informed me that he won't be at the actual close. Oh, and Joe and his assistant took a vacation to Mexico in the middle of negotiations, and did not respond for days, causing frustration on the side of the seller's agent. Downtown Resource Group is a weird little place. I walked in a couple weeks ago looking to talk to the listing agent of an apartment that I was interested in renting and he wasn't there which is totally fine. But when I asked if anyone else could help me, three employees and the receptionist literally just shook their heads and offered no suggestions. So after 5 emails and several phone calls and voicemails to the agent and the office, I finally gave up. I never heard anything. Radio Silence! I was extremely interested in the apartment they had for rent, but evidently they weren't that concerned with renting it out. It is still available to this day on their website. I can't imagine how frustrating it would be to be paying DRG to rent out a property that you own and finding out that they don't respond or follow up with anyone that is interested in their properties. This was a nearly $2,000 a month apartment. Its a pretty simple situation and they dropped the ball in every way possible. I'm sure I will probably hear back 10 days from now, but they will be happy to know that I rented an apartment elsewhere in the north loop from a company that was excited to work with me and help me out. read more

I waited in what I believe was the front waiting area for close to 5 minutes. There was a female and male typing away at their computers and clearly too busy to look up to help me. So, I bounced. DRG is amazing. We are relocating to Chicago, and needed to sell our Warehouse District condo. Looking at the competition, we were pretty sold on DRG before we even met with them due to their services and leasing options if you don't sell. Our agent was Mike, and he was incredibly attentive and responsive. He set us up with an excellent photographer, who even came back a second time when he wasn't pleased with the pictures, since it was a crappy day outside and didn't showcase our unit's natural light. Mike responded to emails practically immediately, and was always available for our questions and concerns. DRG also hosted an open house in our building, since a few units were for sale. Mary (Director of Sales) hosted the open house, which got several potential buyers and realtors in our unit. Additionally, it was easy to find our unit on their website, and we had tons of showings in the first few weeks. They also employ a good service that does all the schedulings and sends feedback via email on the showing. Our unit sold in just a few weeks, and again, Mike was great with the negotiations. We got a fair price (considering the economy), and after a kind of crappy 1st offer, we negotiated back up to about 4% lower than the list price - which was amazing. Mike even missed getting his marriage license so he could get to our closing on time, which is pretty fantastic dedication. So Mike, even if your future wife doesn't like you after that move, we certainly do. I highly recommend DRG, and Mike Seebinger for selling your condo downtown. Despite losing lots of money in the real estate game, it was a great experience. read more

Horrible experience dealing with Dan. He hyped up showing lofts and telling me to give notice on my current loft, in the hopes of viewing his available properties. He set up the appointment, we confirmed the time over the phone. I asked if we should meet in the lobby and he said yes. We drove 3 hours to view the 3 lofts, he said he could show at 6pm Friday. He mentioned rushing over from the office and said 5:30, no make it 6pm.... Come Friday 6pm, we are left outside the building, standing like a shag on a rock, waiting for Dan. I text and called him, only to be told he was in South Minneapolis showing real estate properties. Then he sent another text stating they weren't available for us because of a minimum 650 credit score. Despite him saying prior to the appointment being set up, that an extra deposit would qualify us. Then he texted saying he could show only 2 lofts at 9pm and cancel his other plans. The level of mixed messages and inability to communicate effectively is appalling. Such a waste of precious time and resources traveling 6 hours for a flakey property management company. Be careful of laying any hopes in Dan. Complete insult of an experience, his lack of empathy and professionalism leaves a bad impression. As a 3 times home owner & working professional, I've never had such a disheartening experience with an agent. read more

I was very impressed with my experience with DRG. Over a two week span, I had to find a place, move my stuff from out of state and start work. Allie, my leasing agent, was very attentive and went above and beyond in helping me finalize the deal while I was still wrapping things up out of state. I received responses to my calls and emails within a few hours. All of my questions about the contract details were thoroughly explained. She even stopped by the apartment and drew up a rough floorplan so I could plan out the space. Unfortunately, my first choice didn't work out and the place I took doesn't allow for my dog but considering the time constraint I don't blame DRG. I'll probably use them again once my lease is up to find a place that allows pets. read more

We used DRG when we made the giant leap of moving in together 2 years ago. We knew we wanted to live in the North Loop, but it's pretty hard to figure out what a building's name is, if it's an apartment or a condo, and hardest of all, how to get in contact with someone at the building you want to look at. DRG took care of all that stuff for us. We gave them our wish list & budget and within a few hours, we had 2 appointments for showings. We ended up renting a condo from an owner who wasn't having luck selling it. The whole process was so simple & great for us since we didn't have to spend hours searching online ourselves. Warning: RUN AWAY!!! Some pretty consistent critical reviews here which I have experienced as well, and which I wish I saw prior to engaging with DRG. I have found them to be extremely self-serving and untrustworthy in both the rental process as well as sales. Facts from my personal experience: Rental: I used DRG to help rent my condo unit. They set unrealistic expectations with the renters in order to get them to sign, and then passed them off to me like a hot potato. It led to a difficult landlord experience to say the least and DRG owned no part in managing it. Unrelated to that, they brought a potential buyer to me during the lease period and I casually entertained the idea of selling the unit, which they then proactively communicated to my tenants ... causing further drama. I see that they wanted to rent my tenants another unit and that they would benefit financially from this, and they did it entirely at my expense. Sale: Ironically, as I was selling the same condo (which I decided to do after the bad renter experience) DRG was representing the buyer. I had a different, trustworthy real estate agent in my corner. After agreeing to terms and signing the contract the sale fell through due to financing and was a breach of contract. DRG decided to hold my sale hostage and not sign the cancellation agreement until the earnest money was returned. Again I see their "why" from a financial perspective, but the sale was amicable until that point and they are unethical in their behavior. In summary, I see the words "unethical" and similar adjectives in other reviews, and that's all I've seen from these scammers. Run away and find yourself a legitimate and trustworthy partner for sales or rentals. read more

The moment we met Erin she was warm and put a ton of our concerns at ease. She immediately suggested some great places for us to look at. Even after I got lost the first time we went to go look at a place, she was quick to say it was okay, and reschedule with us. After looking at one of the places we decided we wanted to see the 1701 Madison Lofts. She told us they were rented, but would call the Listing Agent anyway. She really went above and beyond to help us look at that place. I told her that I had lost a house due to devaluation in the market crash and that I didn't own credit cards, so my credit is not amazing. I am lucky that I have made some very good business decisions so capital was not an issue. I knew we wouldn't be approved straight away and asked her to tell the management company that we could come to the table with as much cash as needed. She didn't make me feel ashamed for having to say that. This is huge at this time in our economy with so many people in similar situations as I am; having lost a house due to bad lending practices. DRG did a very good job helping me with my Condo search. The owner Joe took the time to meet with me, look at my needs, organize propoerties that fit my interest and personally show me properties. Not only did they help me find an AWESOME condo, but If I ever relocate for work, DRG will help me find renters and manage my property. They are truely an all encompassing Condo Gurus. I go back and forth whether to give 2 or 3 stars to DRG. Initially, we switched to DRG from a different management company. We'd had a poor experience and were also looking to save money. DRG offered a competitive rate. Our property manager was FANTASTIC. If you using DRG to rent your place, please request Matt Decker. This gentleman will give you exemplary service. We had some issues with the washer/dryer in our unit and Matt went above and beyond to deal with this process smoothly. He was always on top of details, friendly, respectful, and thorough. If our experience ended here, I'd give this place 5 stars without batting an eye, but it doesn't. We knew at the end of the lease with the current tenants, we were ready to be done with this property and approached DRG to sell the unit. We thought what a perfect situation- DRG manages the unit and will therefore make a seamless transition into the sale of the unit. THey'll have all the info they need. BE WARNED: There is almost NO COMMUNICATION between the rental and sales sides of DRG. It's like they don't even work in the same office or know the other exists. The second Joe Grunnet's team took over to sell the unit, things went downhill. Within a week of meeting Joe, he was to set up a meeting to view and assess our condo. See if anything needed changing or sprucing up. This meeting apparently turned out to be a showing, and then a second showing which turned into an offer. This was great news. Our current tenants were not to move out until July, but Joe told me on the phone that the tenants wanted to stay in the building and he knew another unit would be open and our tenants had agreed to move out a month early into this other unit in our building. We were really impressed! He had thought this through and worked out this problem so we could close early and be done with the property even sooner. There were a few things the buyer wanted fixed, and we agreed. We passed these onto our property manager and were excited that in a couple short months we could close this chapter of our lives. During this time, our beloved manager Matt was promoted and we were now working Carol. I'm trying very hard to give Carol the benefit of the doubt. She's new. Maybe her training was subpar, or she's just struggling to keep up with the details of the properties she's managing. The only thing that was actually completed as requested by the buyer was the professional cleaning, and Matt ended up scheduling that. Four weeks before we were to close, we received an email from Matt with a request from the current tenants to stay a few extra days into JULY while they transitioned to their new place. Would this be okay and how was the selling process going? Did we have a buyer/closing date? I was dumbfounded. We'd had a closing date for weeks, and according to Joe Grunnet, these tenants already had a place to live and had agreed to move out early. Turns out, this was a complete lie. They knew nothing about that. I asked multiple times what happened, and I NEVER received an answer. Joe simply emailed saying they were doing everything they could to fix the situation. I decided to leave it in his court as it was his major mistake. In the end, they were able to find the tenants a new place to live in time. I still wish I could apologize to these people. The morning of the closing, we found out not only had the patio door not been fixed, the repaired blinds had not been installed, and remote control that was to be left behind was damaged. We had no time to remedy these things. We were paying a monthly fee to DRG to manage this unit and thus take care of repairs. I'm not sure how Joe convinced the buyer to continue with the sale, but it happened even with this unfinished business. The overall hassle of Joe's disorganized team didn't win me over. I've still never received the appraisal report I requested. And Carol, the manager who took over for Matt, called days after the sale of the condo asking if I had contact information for our buyer. I'm still confused as to why she didn't just ask the people who work in her office who dealt directly with the buyer. Mostly, I'm just tired of being lied to by companies. I completely understand mistakes being made, but own up to them rather than ignore them. Please know iIf you choose DRG to manage or sell your place, just be ready to be on top of the details. Details you are paying THEM to be on top of. In short, DRG got the place sold and we are very grateful about that, but there are a lot of realtors out there. I'd rather the commission went to someone who doesn't outright lie to me and works with more integrity. Unless you get Matt Decker, then you are golden. read more

I recently sold my North Loop condo, and I wasted almost a year of market time with another realtor before I saw the light and hired Ben at DRG. It took Ben 5 days - I am not exaggerating - to get an offer for me! Plus, he was willing to answer all my questions, every step of the way. When the buyer was concerned about a carpet stain, he had "his guys" out there cleaning it 16 hours later. Ben is the best!! He works hard, he knows the market, and he's willing to do what it takes to make a deal work for everyone. Thank you Ben!!! I would recommend him 100%! read more

We used DRG to find the apartment we are moving into next week and have to admit it has been a very frustrating experience. I had heard great things about them from friends and co-workers, but unfortunately, we were not left with the same feelings. They were quick to respond for showings and whenever a check/deposit was needed -- but were very unorganized and unclear with the entire process from start to finish. We worked mostly with the agent's assistant who was either on vacation for half the time or very unclear in her communication. A few examples: it took about 10 emails to finally learn that we needed to work directly with the owner on move-in, keys, inspection, etc but were never provided with the owner's contact information. We asked several times about electronic funds transfers, so we did not have to keep writing checks and driving down to their office -- but were never provided with that information. We also found out that there had been a delay with our background checks when we called to schedule our move-in time/date from the building's property manager. I had to email the agent to find out what was going on--just another example of them not being very clear and forthright with information regarding out move. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend working with them. While they have a lot of nice properties, you would be better off working directly with an owner who actually cares about responding to your emails and giving you the time of day that your money deserves. read more

It was so nice to find him at DRG, an agency that shared his passion for the City. Since we were selling from FL, he went above and beyond to take care of so many things in our absence. We didn't want the place to linger and, of course we weren't delighted with the market at the time. However, we trusted his professional approach to pricing for selling. Happily, we were able to sell in just a few weeks. As it happened, we had to work with other agents from DRG, so we can give them the best recommendation as well. The team at Downtown Resource Group is rock solid. We purchased a loft 3 years ago as an investment (and as a future residence). The team at DRG made the process so simple and fun. We had a great time getting to know the area and visiting a number of locations before we settled on the loft we eventually purchased. Joe and his team helped us every step of the way. But it doesn't end here. As two busy professionals with 3 teenage children, we don't have unlimited time to deal with finding and screening leasing candidates and managing the details of the leasing process. I have used DRG for the leasing and management of my two-bedroom condo in St. Louis Park and can't say enough about the great, responsive service I have received from the team. Within a week of inquiring about their leasing process, I had an agent out at my house to discuss my options and he helped me to make an informed decision on what my unit was worth in the current market. Following our discussion, they were quick to list the unit and promoted it in a variety of ways, including their Facebook page and other on-line resources. Two days and multiple showings later, I had a fantastic renter who committed to a 26-month lease. I credit this to my leasing team's knowledge of the market and reputation in the industry as being the go-to provider for condos in the MSP area. Since leasing my condo over two years ago, I have had nothing but outstanding service from my management team, namely, Megan Evans-Sharbano. She is quick, incredibly responsive and makes the landlord experience seamless. I live out-of-state and having someone on the ground near the unit, should something, happen is very comforting. My washing machine wasn't working and Megan not only sourced new machines within my given budget, she also arranged for the install and removal of my old unit, no questions asked. It couldn't have been a more painless experience and it's great to know I don't have to spend time arranging those types of tasks. I also have purchased Groupons for services for my home and she handles the timing of the service with my tenant. While the team does have a maintenance team who can assist with projects, it's nice to know they let me use whatever contractor or service-provider I want. She also does quarterly inspections to ensure the unit is being kept up, and is always providing updates as they arise. I've also referred DRG to a number of neighbors who are in similar situations and they have also had nothing but great things to say. As I look to sell my unit, there is no doubt that I will be leveraging DRG's selling team. DRG is a professional, well-run organization with dedicated staff who want to make it easy for you to find the RIGHT place, not just A place. I spent a solid three months searching for a place to live in Minneapolis and the surrounding cities that was good quality, close to my office and in a neighborhood that I wanted. I had been searching on Craigslist, Apartments.com, Rent.com and other renting and leasing sites. Within 24 hours of emailing DRG what I was looking for, Dylan had sent me a list of properties, called me to discuss which properties I was interested in, and scheduled an appointment to show me the unit I was interested in. DRG handled everything, from coordinating my move-in with the management and condo association to finding me additional contract parking for a second car. We love DRG! We've used DRG to find a tenant to lease our 1BR condo in Uptown for the last year and half - and have been blown away by their service. Our rep, Dylan, came over and explained the whole rental process to us and gave his opinion on what we could ask for rent. This review is for Katie M, who helped us find a home on relatively short notice. We contacted her on a Monday, and within hours she had sent us dozens and dozens of properties for our review. She was able to facilitate setting up tours of our favorites (on a Sunday, no less!), and when we finally settled on the one we wanted after waffling for a bit, she helped us through the leasing process while we were out of town. I don't doubt those who have had a fabulous experience purchasing or selling with DRG, but I can't say the same coming from a renter of one of their clients' properties. I learned that their rental services are included as part of their leasing process which is great for the owner, but not so good for the renters. Carol and Matt have been good with communicating and answering questions, but the rest of the organization treats you like you are a leftover. They clearly need to require payments for rental services from owners if money is what drives this company to provide proper and courteous service. After living in my apartment for a year, I was informed by someone at DRG in a one-line email that "The owner has decided to sell. Please let me know if you have questions". Also note this person I hadn't talked to since she initially SHOWED me the apartment. Questions!? Yes I can think of a few. I also had an interaction during the appraisal process that felt really slimy and disrespectful (I was talked over and blatantly ignored in order to try to get me to purchase the unit myself). Had I been listened to, I certainly would have given it more thought. Now I'm trying to get my deposit check squared away, today I called the front desk person who said "I am just a receptionist" in which I explained there should be a check at the front desk for me with my name on it, as my rental coordinator, Carol explained to me. She couldn't find it, and then asked if this was "urgent"... Needless to say when I am ready to buy, I will not work with a company that treats their renters like this. Way too many people involved and the company itself is not synchronous in any way. read more

We had a very good experience with DRG. We sold our loft and bought our house through BJ and Brent. We encountered a few hurdles along the way (not uncommon in this market), but each time we were able to overcome them - in part through the hard work of DRG.
