Who knew that within just a few weeks we would have an accepted offer? There is no one else we would have felt comfortable buying remotely with. And the only reason we changed from just looking to seriously buying was because we came to trust and rely on Billy's opinions. He is not just a savvy and knowledgeable realtor, he is truly a sincere and nice guy. He would warn us that even if we lose out on a house, in the end it always works out (and SPOILER ALERT he's right). But he still commiserated with us when we were outbid and he really went above and beyond when we were searching for the right home. And he really does want to find you the right home. He will be honest with you about any negatives he sees and he will steer you away from any bad decisions. Sometimes we were so keen to just get a house that we were willing to settle or make hasty decisions. But Billy makes sure that whatever house you get is a great house and whatever you do is sound and smart. And I'm so glad that he was there with us helping make all our decisions. He would give us daily updates of his endeavors going door to door and networking with other agents. In the end it was a note of his he left on the door of a house that was off the market that did the trick. We were able to buy a house that was miles better than any of the other houses we put offers on with basically no other competition. In the crazy housing market right now you need someone like Billy who is willing to go the extra mile. UPDATE (approximately 1.5 years later): We recently used Cari Ann Carter again for the purchase of a lot. This was a bit spontaneous and Cari Ann is a pit bull when it comes to advocating for you. We were able to put in an offer Sunday, get a counteroffer Monday and secure the property on Tuesday. She was INSTRUMENTAL in making this happen quickly and is the best negotiator ever! She set reasonable expectations for us, which we really appreciated, and was very open in feedback along the entire way. More importantly, she is a DO-er! I finally found a great home and submitted my application, Met with Nouk and was VERY open and HONEST with her about my situation. In today's market renting is just as competitive as buying!! I saw the house on a Wednesday at Noon. I thought I hit it off with Nouk, I was there for an hour, filled out the application gave her a check and had all my documents with me. I was told she would let me know as soon as she hears back from another family. Thursday she tells me she is submitting my application. Saturday she tells me she got the background check back and that she will work with me and call me on Monday to work out the details. Monday night I hear from her husband and am told we are good to go and they are getting the lease ready and what I had to put down for deposit. I tell my kids, and we are all relieved and Happy. Tuesday night I get a call from her husband with NO excuse what so ever that he will not take me and he changed his mind!! I am devastated!! I offered to have automatic with drawl, I offered to pay 6 month up front, I offered a co-signer, I offered to have someone else take my dogs. The only response I got was they made up there mind and is moving on!!! WHO DOES THAT??? Now, I have lost a week of looking, my kids were crushed oh and also My 19 year old son has Down Syndrome and as soon as asked if that was the reason I GOT NO RESPONSE!!! I am pursing this as discrimination! How sad that there are still people out there that are so Ignorant and shellfish!! I would NEVER use Nouk as a realtor, landlord etc. The way this situation was handled was so inappropriate, rude and mean!!! I realized over time that because of all his additional attributes (Professional, always responsive, and very patient), he was the perfect realtor. It had been over 30 years since my husband, and I had previously scoured the cities in search of that one perfect realtor to help us find the house that was perfect for us at that time. Zac Bidelman patiently spent at least two years showing me various properties. He quickly fine-tuned the amenities that I was in search of until it basically came down to 3 or 4 properties. Once the perfect location came on the market, he helped me create an offer that he presented immediately.
