Grab some to go foods and it's buy 1 get 1. Freshly cook meals and tasty. Very friendly service (Leni and Lyn) with a smile:-) a 5 star rating. The place is clean and tide and conveniently located inside Island Pacific here in National City. Definitely worth to visit.

I ordered from DoorDash and so I decided to try the Philippine food for a change. Loved DoorDash cux it bring all ethnicities food to your door without actually go out of your way I order a squid , BBQ chicken , some noodle dish , and a soup . From the order, I was looking forward to the BBQ, instead I got a hard overcooked chicken... It's a disappointment for me. The squid on the other hand was delicious but they didn't bother to cut in pieces I had a bit of struggling w it. But since it was tasty. I overlooked at it's lacking precut of the dish.

Their desserts are to expensive. I got a buko. Pandan for $7.00 :/ Hope they put price to on their labels. I was shocked when I was paying it was that expensive.

I love this spot & the BOGO special hits the spot but some of the employees have the IQ of a doorknob.

There are meals you eat, and then there are meals that bring people together. Tita's Kitchenette…read moredid exactly that. I have a loved one in a nursing facility in North San Diego and the staff there provide the kind of compassionate care that comes with dignity. After experiencing another facility that was so heartbreaking it left me questioning everything. I wanted to do something meaningful to thank this incredible team. A card didn't seem like enough. Flowers fade. But good food? Good food creates memories. I ordered the sisig, pancit, and their famous signature lumpia rolls, along with pandesal from Valerio's. Ordering was a breeze. I placed my order at 9:30 a.m. and picked everything up at 4:00 p.m. Three small trays turned out to be an incredible amount of food. I planned for 10 people, but it fed a whole lot more as many from different units gathered to share. The moment that sealed it for me happened before a single tray was opened. A nurse I had never met walked over and said, "Oh, you went to Tita's. I recognized their lumpia." That gave me chills because I knew I had chosen the right place. The food tasted like it came straight from Mamasan's kitchen, authentic, comforting, and made with love. Staff members kept stopping by to thank us, and my only conidition, "Make a plate for the receptionist. He's awesome too." That is what great food does. It creates connection. If you're feeding family, friends, coworkers, or an entire care team, Tita's Kitchenette delivers more than delicious Filipino food. They help you show appreciation in a way people will remember. Food is always delish and fresh, they serve the best dishes from the Philippines. Sisig, menudo, sinigang, and of course their bbq sticks are must haves. Rich in flavor, hearty and generous. So much bang for your buck. Plates are less than $16 for two entrees and a side of rice, lumpia is almost $6 for 5 pieces. Overall food is over the top. SERVICE, on the other hand. The worse! They are rude, impatient and none of them smile. They make you feel like you're an inconvenience. You can't ask them a question without them rolling their eyes or huffing and puffing. Asking for an extra plate, lady was on her phone, pointed at the plates...BEHIND THE GLASS COUNTER. Like, can you please get off your phone and hand it to me? I don't work there. I had to reach over the glass to reach for it, I couldn't even reach it and she still didn't help me. I just gave up and left. I love my people but honestly, THEIR customer service isn't it. Our people are loving, kind and grateful. The people that work here hate their lives.

Since everything is made to order, have a little patience when waiting for your meal. When we got there we had 4 people ahead of us and it was a bit of wait. Other than the halo-halo, what caught my attention was all the different types of silogs they had. I went for the daingsilog (milkfish) and hubby, ordered sisig silog. And, of course, in true Filipino fashion, I had to get my birthday noodles, so we ordered pancit too. I appreciate the fact that the bangus was boneless and served with a little container of vinegar dipping sauce. Although I definitely could have used a little more. My only disappoint is that even though everything was made to order, my meal didn't feel like it was fresh from the fryer. Maybe it sat too long before it was brought out but it just didn't have the freshly fried taste or texture I'm used to. For some reason the pancit was a bit sweet for me. Maybe it was the oyster sauce they used, but it was definitely sweeter than what I'm used to. The portion was huge and we barely put a dent in it. We shared the halo-halo which had Ube halaya at the bottom, sweetened banana, jackfruit, coconut strings and sweet potato. My husband noticed it didn't have any of the sweet beans, which are his favorite, but still good. We ordered ours with Ube ice cream and even without the beans, it hit the spot on such a hot day. We saw lots of other good things on the menu worth trying, so we'll probably come back and see what else stands out.

I visited Zarlitos today because it was extremely hot outside, and I was craving some delicious Filipino food. I ordered arroz caldo, chicharon bulaklak, and halo-halo. Everything was delicious! I was also happy to enjoy my meal in a nice, cool, air-conditioned environment. Unfortunately, my dining experience was interrupted when an older couple came in and began yelling at one of the servers. I felt so sorry for her because she appeared visibly nervous and was shaking. Despite being treated that way, she remained calm, respectful, and professional. I truly admire her for handling such an uncomfortable situation with patience and composure. No employee deserves to be treated disrespectfully while simply doing their job. I hope the management recognizes how well this server handled the situation. The food was delicious, and the staff were wonderful as always. Unfortunately, the couple's behavior took away from what should have been a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. Zarlitos, thank you for your great food and excellent service. Please know that your hard-working employees are appreciated. I will continue to support this restaurant and hope that everyone remembers to treat the staff with the same kindness and respect they show their customers.
