Her techniques are spot on. I highly recommend her for any kind of massage, but even more so for lymphedema. After my initial treatment my lymphedema was completely manageable. With her dual certification MLD and CDT, she is qualified to work on lymphedema patients medically. Many massage therapists wouldn't take me as a client due to the severity of my lymphedema. I am so glad I found Monroe Healing Therapies. If you suffer from lymphedema I'm confident you will find much relief here.

I will NEVER go back…read more To begin with everything was great. I had a nice hour-long massage followed by a half-hour foot massage. I was pleased with both. Then, as I was ready to leave, I handed the gal a 20% tip. 20% She looked at the $20 bill and said, "NOT ENOUGH". I said, "What ??" and she then said, "30% need ten more dollars. You pay $100 so 30% is $30 and you need to pay $10 more." When I said No, she got huffy and turned her back and walked away. 20% was a fair and generous tip. To have her demand more was really not okay.

The location was very clean, inviting, and professional. Bonus points for being available at the last minute -- I had hurt myself playing golf earlier in the day and after a quick phone call and filling out a fast intake form I was getting a massage within about an hour. Payment options were flexible and I might be able to use my insurance for future visits. Great communication and obviously a skilled LMT. Would definitely recommend and I will most certainly be back.

She is ideally situated for it, having her massage room in the Alpine Rose Inn in Leavenworth (we never have any issues with parking, as can be the case downtown). The room is spacious and very quiet and private; I have been to some places where I felt claustrophobic and could hear everyone around us. Moria is a wonderful massage therapist, very professional, and has so much positive energy. I always leave feeling so much better. There is no awkwardness around her and she is relaxing and comfortable to share the space with. She contracts with another excellent therapist to provide couples massage, but we go one after the other and have always both still received a premium massage. Moria is able to give deep tissue or whatever treatment we want, and I have also received some cranial work for headaches which was helpful. I would recommend Moria to anyone who wants to feel better.
