A LOT of LMTs fit the bill. Vickery Holistic Massage won out simply because it was really close to my house. I enjoyed the first - and only - massage I got from Brandey. Unfortunately, the night before my next appointment she texted to let me know she was sick. Hey, I get it - we all get sick. No problem. She offered three available times to see her on the following weekend (5 days later). I chose the Saturday at 8AM appointment. She texted back to confirm. On Saturday I arrived at the office at 8:04am to find nobody there (yep, I was 4 minutes late but didn't think it would be an issue). I knocked a few times even though it was dark inside. I wondered if she figured I was a no-show and may be in the restroom or something, so I waited around for a few more minutes. I didn't bring my phone with me so I couldn't call or text, nor could I see if she had contacted me at the last minute with some emergency or if she was still sick. I ran back home to see if there were any messages from her. I hadn't received any messages or texts. I sent her a text at 8:18am to let her know that I had gone to my appointment and that I didn't see anybody there. I could see that she read the text at 8:38am. Unfortunately, she NEVER REPLIED! It's now two days later and I still haven't heard a word from her. This was also a huge inconvenience because I had to get a referral from my doctor for my massages. I paid out of pocket for my first massage to make sure I liked it. When I knew that I was happy with her services, I asked my doctor for a prescription. I have a prescription for massage therapy with Vickery Holistic Massage, but certainly won't be using it now. I'll be looking for somebody more reliable. It's too bad. I enjoyed my first massage but her lack of professionalism and respect left a very bad taste in my mouth. I'm really surprised because there are a TON of massage therapists with great reviews in the area that accept my insurance. I would think that with that much competition that she'd be a little more conscientious about keeping any clients she can get.

There are a variety of employees that each have their own method. I was fortunate enough to try 4 to 5 employees out And was never disappointed. They offer different types of massage and deep tissue and ashiatsu are my favorites. My husband will actually go get massages here and he has never been one to agree to that. Melissa, one of the owners is absolutely amazing. She works with me on a personal level to make sure I get scheduled. I truly can feel her compassion and empathy and desire to help other people. I appreciate that they are always very flexible when it comes to scheduling and go out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable. If your insurance allows, you may be able to express bill. Which means just paying your bill upfront, Melrose massage will provide you with billing codes and an invoice. I just submit those to my insurance and they reimburse me at 80%.
