She is ideally situated for it, having her massage room in the Alpine Rose Inn in Leavenworth (we never have any issues with parking, as can be the case downtown). The room is spacious and very quiet and private; I have been to some places where I felt claustrophobic and could hear everyone around us. Moria is a wonderful massage therapist, very professional, and has so much positive energy. I always leave feeling so much better. There is no awkwardness around her and she is relaxing and comfortable to share the space with. She contracts with another excellent therapist to provide couples massage, but we go one after the other and have always both still received a premium massage. Moria is able to give deep tissue or whatever treatment we want, and I have also received some cranial work for headaches which was helpful. I would recommend Moria to anyone who wants to feel better.

She also rested bottles of lotion or oils on his legs during the massage. Things were dropped and fumbled with. The playlist was absolutely, insanely tonally inconsistent. It would transition from Christmas-tinged to Chinese to white noise, all at varying volumes. It was very disorienting and made it nearly impossible to relax. My masseuse was very good, with a wonderful bedside manner, and is the only reason my review isn't 1 star, especially for the price point. Disappointing.

It is extremely disheartening to then discover that my partner could not fully enjoy thier massage because they felt guilty the whole time. When I arrived for my pre natal massage, I was provided with sandals to change into and a warm robe. I was then escorted to quiet room to complete paperwork where there was hot tea, water, and chocolate waiting. Once I was done with the paperwork, we did a brief consultation before moving back into the massage room. 3. My prenatal massage was incredible! I even got to lay on my stomach thanks to a pre natal massage pillow they had available! The massage was so relaxing and provided just enough pressure to get all of the right tension spots. 4. There are a variety of employees that each have their own method. I was fortunate enough to try 4 to 5 employees out And was never disappointed. They offer different types of massage and deep tissue and ashiatsu are my favorites. My husband will actually go get massages here and he has never been one to agree to that. Melissa, one of the owners is absolutely amazing. She works with me on a personal level to make sure I get scheduled. I truly can feel her compassion and empathy and desire to help other people. I appreciate that they are always very flexible when it comes to scheduling and go out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable. If your insurance allows, you may be able to express bill. Which means just paying your bill upfront, Melrose massage will provide you with billing codes and an invoice. I just submit those to my insurance and they reimburse me at 80%.

Her techniques are spot on. I highly recommend her for any kind of massage, but even more so for lymphedema. After my initial treatment my lymphedema was completely manageable. With her dual certification MLD and CDT, she is qualified to work on lymphedema patients medically. Many massage therapists wouldn't take me as a client due to the severity of my lymphedema.
