Worst nail salon experience. Just left Allure and I am beyond upset. I arrived around 1:15pm today…read moreas a walk in and checked in for a fill in and gel pedicure. There was no wait and I was seated immediately. Dung was doing my pedicure and did everything fine until it came time for the polish. He did a sloppy paint job, and I asked him to clean up the sides before putting it under the UV light. He did not. He waited until after everything was cured to clean it up. He tried to clean it up by using the cuticle clippers and ended up cutting me and I bled. The nail polish is very streaky and thick. I complained to the owner about it and nothing was done. Dung left once I started complaining to Jenny and didn't complete the service. It wasn't until I got home that I realized he never fully wiped off the mask on the back of my leg. Now onto the acrylic fill in. Tina performed the service and had to be corrected several times. I tried to get her to add more acrylic because the nail bed was too flat and I like it to have a curve, I even showed her the nail on my other hand as an example. She told me it was flat because she did not file it yet. Filing was not going to correct the flat/straight nail bed. It took 4 time telling her to get any progress and I finally gave up because her last attempt was acceptable and I didn't want to waste anymore time. I had been in the chair for about 1.5 hours at that point. Around the same time I was complaining to Jenny about the pedicure I mentioned my dissatisfaction with the nails as well and that I needed to be out in the next 15/20 minutes. Jenny took over my nails and did the French tip but had an attitude with me over a miscommunication. She asked if I wanted the French arch the same as last time, I said yes and trusted that she knew what that was because she looked at my nails prior to the service. She did the sides long and not even centered. Despite all of these issues--including getting cut--the only thing Jenny took off the bill was the $5 charge for the French tip. I told her that was completely unsatisfactory, but they refused to budge. I was charged the full price of $102 for the services. I am normally a 20% (or more) tipper wherever I go, but with this horrible experience and their complete unwillingness to discount the bill, I could not bring myself to reward them with a tip. I feel like I completely wasted 2.5 hours and $102 because I will now have to go somewhere else to get all of this redone. I live in another state and was visiting the salon my mom frequents but they have lost her business as well. Avoid this place

When you walk in you can smell the lovely scent of calming aromatherapy. The decor is a beautiful girly mix of turquoise, purple and black with a beautiful mother of pearl shell decor. When being taken back you enter a large airy room also beautifully decorated and has several lounges for the techs to work at. I was comfortable for the most part even with my back injury. As far as the tech I wish I got her name because she was great. Good conversation, comforting, informative..even coming in with a hot mess another salon did she did her absolute best to fix it. I think she did a fabulous job. Does it cost more here? Yes. But you get what you pay for. If you want a glob of weave glue on your eyelash clumps go ahead to the other places in the area (I experienced this first hand) but if you want quality come here. Next time I'm going to try some of their other services as well.

Now I must state that it was not the typical type of service I was use to receiving which is why I started coming here to get my nails and toes done. On last week I came in and was told there was about an hour wait and to leave my number so they could call me when someone was available. Perfect. I went to run a quick errand and came back to sit in my car. When the call came that someone was available I said thank you and proceeded to walk into the shop. I was acknowledged and directed to a foot spa. I sat soaking for a while when someone was called to do my pedicure. She ended up assisting someone else that came in after me. Long and short I felt that in itself was rude and unprofessional and removed my feet from the tub and left. I have attempted to write this review all week and just getting to it now on Saturday. I have returned to the spa to get the pedicure I wanted. Per the norm I picked out my polish and was Lawrence directed to the pedicure area. After 10/15 min of soaking the technician that I thought was suppose to do my pedicure my last visit came over --- I told her I didn't want her to do my pedicure and why as to how the events unraveled from my point of view the last time I was there. The conversation that took place at this time is why I chose to return. Things happen for a reason and this is why I believe I couldn't complete the review for this time. It turns out the lady that came In after me had an appointment with the tech I thought was suppose to do my pedicure. The tech wasn't upset with my reaction to my last experience and our interaction was calm and respectful. We discussed the events and was able to move forward. My pedicure was amazing as always and my toes look great. I am glad I came back and will return again. Thank you for continuing to provide excellent customer service.
